What I liked: • Neat and clean rooms, comfortable beds, and spacious family room. • Friendly, cooperative, and helpful staff. • Very safe for families and kids. • Swimming facilities: 3 pools for families plus 1 dedicated pool for kids. • Breakfast: Great variety with Thai, Continental, and Indian food items. Most were marked Halal, which was very convenient for Muslim guests. • Shuttle service: Runs hourly until 10 PM to a nearby shopping center close to Bangla Road/Patong Beach. Many restaurants and shops are available there. • A small shuttle also operates anytime between the main entrance and reception, which is very useful since the road is uphill. Guests can simply inform the gate security to arrange it. • Lift available from the roadside entrance, making it convenient for guests. • 7/11 and food shops located just around the hotel. Room experience: • Stayed in Room 307 with a beautiful sea view (though partly blocked by trees). • Room and toilet were very clean. • Beds were comfortable, and the room size was quite large.

Suggestions for improvement: • Trim or cut the top of trees blocking the sea view from certain rooms so guests can fully enjoy the scenery. • Upgrade the old TVs to smart TVs so guests can enjoy YouTube/Netflix after returning to the hotel.

Really a fantastic resort in Phuket and we had an incredible experience. The staff were amazing, providing a warm welcome and ensuring a relaxing time throughout our stay. The swimming pool and atmosphere were both spectacular, and the great view from our room was really a great way to start our day. The complimentary shuttle to the shopping center was convenient, and the breakfast buffet was superb. The resort also excelled in providing various activities around the pool, including yoga, kids' parties, and water sports. Highly recommend for a rejuvenating and enjoyable getaway!

Staff are amazing at this hotel. Facilities are great and very clean. We love the 3 tier pool. Extremely helpful especially during periods of being very unwell.

The Indian tourists who were staying by the bus loads, they were extremely disrespectful to staff and other hotel guests. This is not the fault of the hotel, but the hotel catered for them and bowed to their every need, even changing a majority of the buffet breakfast to Indian food during their stay. No other nationalities were catered for like this. Even then these rude arrogant people were not satisfied, complaining to the chef. They took our table on multiple occasions even when my son was sitting waiting for us. Took chairs we were sitting on. The hotel staff could see it, and we felt sorry they were being treated so poorly. But during this whole time they remained so professional and polite.

Great location, great view, staff was very kind and polite. Room was clean and always tidy. Amazing atmosphere.

The curtains in the room weren’t dark enough so the light came in too early in the morning. To me is a little overpriced, breakfast should be included in the initial price (it’s 15€ a day for one person, too much for me for no reason).

Great view of the ocean and located a good walking distance from Bangla Rd and Jungcelon.

As the hotel is built on the side of a mountain there is a shuttle service offered for transfer from top to the bottom and vice versa, on some occasions we were waiting up to 10 or more minutes for the shuttle which was quite frustrating and this usually occurred in the early evening, even though there are 2 shuttle cars. We also had to call on 2 seperate occasions to request for towels after our room had been cleaned and the towels were not replaced, on 1 occasion it took 3 calls to reception and housekeeping and a wait of 45 minutes to receive them which is not the kind of service I would have expected from a 4 star rated resort.

We have just returned from Phuket (8 days in all) after 4 days staying at ‘Novotel Grand Phuket’. We had a delightful pool access room which was a joy to be able dip into whenever we wanted. The staff were friendly and graciously handled all our inquiries. When I got sick with some gastro bug the young woman at reception handled all my husband’s inquiries professionally and swiftly with her organising for a doctor to come to my room. Forever grateful to this young woman for her professional and prompt attention. The cleaning staff came in around 3pm every day to change towels, replace water, empty bins etc. The biggest let down was the breakfast. Granted there are a lot of options (trying to make people from every culture happy) but the quality wasn’t good. We had stayed at another smaller resort previously for 4 days and though their variety wasn’t as large, what they did was done well. I love a good buffet breakfast but ‘Novotel Grand Phuket’ this wasn’t one of them.

As mentioned above, the breakfast was a huge letdown. Of our four days, we only went once to breakfast.

We had a wonderful time at Novotel Phuket Resort. The hotel fully met our expectations. The location is perfect: within walking distance of the beach, shops, and cozy restaurants. The hotel itself offers everything you might need: a small convenience store, restaurants, bar, ATM, tour operator, and more. The swimming pools are beautiful and well-maintained, and the view from the hotel is absolutely breathtaking. The food was delicious and varied, with both local and international options. What really made our stay special was the super friendly staff. Everyone was extremely helpful and welcoming. The hotel is also very child-friendly. Our luggage was neatly brought to and picked up from our room. Pros: all facilities are available, including at the restaurants and pools. The hotel is family-friendly, with various activities like ping pong, Muay Thai classes, etc. The hotel is located on a hill, so there’s a convenient 24/7 shuttle service that takes you from the main entrance to the reception. There's also a shuttle to the local mall. Through the in-house tour operator, you can easily book excursions or hire a car with a driver — many options available. In the room, we received daily bottled water and all necessary amenities. All in all, a fantastic experience. We would definitely recommend this hotel to others — especially to those traveling with (small) children.

Things to note: some rooms are only accessible via a lot of stairs, with no elevator. For guests with limited mobility, it’s important to inquire and confirm this in advance.

Good views from lobby or hotel rooms. Clean rooms and very friendly staff

The property is on the hill and we had to walk uphill from lobby to our hotel room. Although it had good views of the water, it is not beach front and one has to cross the street to walk to the beach.

The staff made this holiday. They went above and beyond for the children and the games around the pool. Nothing was every too much of a problem
