It has a mid-century modern vibe, which makes sense because it served as the officers’ quarters at the former Ramey Air Force Base. The rooms were large suites with a separate seating area and kitchenettes. Pool was beautiful. Beds were comfy and shower was great! Most important, the staff was great. The portions at the restaurant were huge!

Definitely need a car. It was clean but could use a little refurbishing (painting) here and there.

I liked everything about the hotel, the hotel staff were friendly and its proximity to the airport. It has access to the sea, which is only for surfers, it is not suitable for swimming.

I ordered margaritas, but because of the price, I thought the glass would be bigger, like NY, nut no, it was small, and I think like about 8 onzas. The beach is close, but it is only for surfing.

The property is close to the airport, clean and the staff was nice.

The restaurant on grounds can get busy and a take long to serve you, but waitresses are nice. The room did not have a balcony or line anywhere making drying bathing suits impossible. There were no vents in the bathroom so they crack open the small windows on top which made it sweat and nothing ever dried.

Breakfast was great, and the coffee excellent.! It is always wonderful to sit by the pool, under the palm trees and sunshine and have breakfast. Room and cleanliness was good.

The room was great however the I did not like that the bathroom had mold in the roof of the shower. To me it just took away from the greatness of the room. Some care should be taken to make sure that all areas of the room are up to par. Custodial service left messy carts in or around stairwells.

Nice and quiet location. Great atmosphere. Good staff. Nice pool and good restaurant. The housekeeping crew are friendly and hard working.

Need more night security. Only one person working. Besides that everything else is good.

Location good, pool beautiful, food great. We stayed for 2 nights.

We did not have hot water on our section of the resort on our second day so couldn’t shower after a day of hiking and swimming. The next day we talked to manager who offered us another room to use so instead of moving all our stuff we used the room to shower. She was very helpful in getting us help.

The staff is very friendly, 10/10 for the front desk. The room was clean and the bed very comfy. We choose the hotel for the location as it is close to Surfer's beach and it was perfect. Parking was always available on the hotel property and free. The neighborhood is very quiet and there are a couple of breakfast/dining options at walking distance.

Maybe having some breakfast options with more reasonable prices for the guests, we found the price of the restaurant a little high. (The staff at the restaurant was also very kind though.)

The room itself is just average. The king bed was comfortable and the shower was fine. The tv and ac worked. However, I really liked the outside of the property with the palm trees, the wood accents, and the restaurant. That really made it feel kinda like a resort. The restaurant was amazing! My daughter and I had the best hot chocolate we’ve ever had there. We also tried the french toast and waffles and they were both super yummy. It was a lot of food too! I was so glad we ate there. I also really liked that it was right next to Surfer’s Beach and Survival Beach. We enjoyed going to see both of them although we didn’t surf there.

The room itself seems kinda motelish.
