It was in a convenient location as it was 10 minute walk away from mesherib station which is a hub so you can go to many places from there, room was good and comfortable and facilities were great for us as we didn’t stay in the hotel long during the days and just wanted somewhere to rest.

The floor we were on was a smoking floor and when we initially went in the room there was a smell of cigarette but the smell went after the first night and regular housekeeping. Key card access to the room can be a bit weird to understand first as it needs to be put in then taken back out of the door but once we got used to it that was fine. Air conditioner didn’t seem to cool the room as much but as we went in the winter period it didn’t affect us but i can see this being an issue if travelling in summer months

Location- excellent, very conveniently located near Souk Waqif (12-minute walk). Street lighting in the surrounding area can be improved but this is likely a government related concern as there is some construction in the area. Very safe! Staff- Security staff were superb- they were kind and helpful. Receptionist staff were professional in their interaction- 1 Indian male, 1 African male and 1 Asian female staff asked me how my stay was and greeted me as I walked in or out of the hotel, which I appreciated. Other reception staff can be encouraged to be welcoming and warm as well. Housekeeping- very helpful and prompt service, they honored my requests and were kind and friendly throughout my stay. Room service- not applicable to my stay Room- Clean. Finishing touches in the bathroom especially can be performed (painting) to enhance the design.

Not a big concern but the gym area is super small. It's an L-shaped space so it's a bit awkward but it is fine for a short stay.

Oh wow, such a great hotel with such friendly staff who go out of their way to help. Lovely swimming pool, huge selection of options for breakfast that changed from day to day, comfortable beds, great shower, and quiet at night. Good TV channel selection (dozens, maybe hundreds, many in English) - much better than pretty much every European hotel we had stayed at immediately prior to our trip to Doha.

We booked for 2 adults and 1 child (aged 11). We knew this would be the case but only the one super king sized bed was provided. It's a lot of extra to get a rollaway bed for a child, so we just brought a sleeping bag and our daughter slept on the carpeted floor. Would recommend that the cost of a roll-away more accurately reflects the actual cost of making up one more bed as the price we paid already included all the other amenities our daughter would use. The location is not fantastic, but that is why you pay such a good price. It's about a 10 minute walk to the metro station, which was fine for us to walk in 35 C (95 F) but may not suit everyone. But such good value that these are very small things to complain about.

Very polite and Helpful staff. Specially there was an Indian staff I think his name was Gajendra or Jagendra, He was extremely helpful.

Can’t check in early. I asked the receptionist to check in early and she told me to pay extra if I wants to check in early because it’s their policy.

The hotel is well located near the main attractions in Doha from where you can walk if the weather allows it, take taxi or reach the Msheireb metro station in 10 min to move around. People complained to be in a dodgy area that feels unsafe at night because of the construction workers, who are mostly immigrants from Bangladesh or Pakistan, but that's nonsense. As a female solo traveller, I walked at night to the nearby grocery stores and yes, you see a lot of men in their breaks from work on the streets, but they never approached me, so no reason to fear, just take precautions like not walking in too dark or isolated areas and you'll be fine. You can also get a few groceries at the store of the gas station in front of the hotel. The staff were also cool, particularly Pauline and the Algerian trainee at the reception, and the Kenyan lady lifeguard at the pool (apologies I don't remember all your names!). It was nice to be able to exchange more than a few words with them since they speak good English; the Algerian lady also speaks Spanish, my native language, so kudos to all of them and their kindness! The room had enough space for me, though it felt a bit dark with such a small window...

I had to make two separate bookings because of my change of plans, and after the first night they told me they had to move me to the other hotel in Old Town, which has less score than this one, because of an event they were hosting, which I felt it was unprofessional because I booked that one for a reason. Fortunately, the next day, they told me that not all of the people of the event had come, so I could remain in my room.

I had a wonderful stay at the Ramada Encore Hotel. The hotel itself is stylish, modern, and immaculately kept—everything felt fresh and welcoming. A big shoutout to Gajendra at the front desk! His professionalism, courteous demeanor, and genuine helpfulness truly stood out. From check-in to check-out, he made sure everything went smoothly and added a personal touch that made my visit even more enjoyable. If you're looking for a hotel that combines comfort, top-notch service, and a friendly atmosphere, this is the place. I’ll definitely be coming back!

I must say that I am very glad and happy to stay in Ramada encore Hotel, where I witnessed maximum care of myself and my colleagues. Accommodation, food, service has been of excellent level. All the staff is extremely polite and attentive to details. The best thing about this hotel was the pillows. Most hotels offer the same pillows that flatten once you put your head on them and offer little to no support. This hotel has the best pillows I've ever had at a hotel as a standard option (I didn't have to go ask for special pillows). It was within easy walking distance from Msheireb metro station, making it a very convenient location for a stopover. We also had a nice view of the Souq Waqif area.

While most of the roads in the area has large spacious pavements built from granite stone, the last section of the road leading to the hotel was behind a garage and looked less appealing. There's also a large metal detector as you enter the hotel which makes one wonder how safe the city is. I think these aspects really made the hotel appear to be less alluring than it actually is.
