All the above and the helpfulness of staff was excellent. I was always greated with conversations and eye contact. Good variety of food at breakfast

The noise outside, traffic, car horns beeping, people arriving into hotel at nidnight and the mosque prayer call but I got used to it

The hotel is part of a series of hotels in the central historical souq Waqif of Doha. The location is perfect, right in the middle of the souq, which is a pedestrian area full of shops and restaurants. The decoration of the hotel and the room is very nice, traditional and modern at the same time.

Staff was very friendly but a bit confused. They did not manage to give us a working key card to open our room, we only managed to open the room thanks to the cleaning staff. It was not such a big deal for us as we stayed only one night, but as the hotel has ambitions to be a high standard hotel, such things should not happen.

Perfect location. Room was large. Water, robe and slippers. They called our transportation for us since we did not have international calling or what's app. Great value for the money.

I couldn't figure out how to turn off all the lights. Since my spouse was sleeping, I did not call about it. Slight imperfections behind the TV. They said an 11am check-in would be available. When we arrived at noon, it was not available due to the cruise. They should have known about the cruise and not offered an early check-in (most people book well in advance). That way I could have planned my tour differently.

Al Mirquab is one of several of the Tivoli Boutique Hotels located within Souq Waqif. It is beside the entrance to the excellent Metro and with easy access to all the shops and restaurants . Buffet breakfast is available a few minutes walk away in another of the Tivoli hotels ( Al Jasra). A golf cart runs between the various hotels Pleasant helpful staff

Breakfast is available 6.30-10.30 and there’s a large selection but it isn’t sufficiently refreshed and replenished so that after 9.30 it begins to look a bit tired and some things have run out . Coffee was a bit cold sometimes but staff were helpful and would bring more.

The hotel was very clean and spacious. Good in room facilities, we stayed in the suite.

There was no pool in our hotel, it was located in a different hotel that is part of this group of hotels.

First of all I would like to thank dear sister Chaima for the great welcome and helping upgrade our reservation 👏🏻 *Very helpful staff, superb location (west parking underground is close by hotel if your driving/rent a car) also a golf car provided (good for seniors) to ease tranpsotation process sometimes. All facilities are around within walking distance which is good to stretch your legs. Minimum 2 days to discover this beautiful area I would recommend. Note: this is one of 8 hotels around Souq Waqif areae run by same company if I'm not mistaken (check attached picture).

Great friendly helpful staff! The breakfast has a great choice which covers all diets . We loved the location as you could walk to everything we needed. We look forward to returning !

The location was great, and staff were friendly and helpful.

The parking is that of Souk waqif parking , and therefore if you come late , it would be challenging to find a parking spot nearby and have to park at the north side parking which is far from the hotel. I stayed at AlMargab building , but there was no way to find the building. I had ask the reception of a hotel about its location and was surprised that it’s the same hotel but with a different name. If you use google maps to find the hotel named “Souq Waqif boutique hotel” it will take you to a location with a different name..this is really confusing. The hotel facilities appear beat up and consumed.

The humility and warmth of the staff,they were always willing to help and didn’t even want us to lift a finger from carrying our bags to driving to breakfast. The Security staff (I wish I could name them all)but they were just amazing.They served with a smile. I’ve never felt so much welcomed and safe honestly. Special shout out to Jaydul (An epitome of kindness and humility) and Umar (Receptionist). And the fact that it’s a step away from the Metro Station….Top tier. The Hotel is just so beautiful and quiet regardless of it being in the middle of the Souq Waqif market.

When I called the morning of my check in one of the guys was pretty mean because he couldn’t understand my African name and offered to spell it out for him and said he was too busy for that (How rude!) but that’s water under the bridge.

The staff were very friendly upon arrival, chatted with me and offered me tea while waiting to be checked in. I was then taken to my specific building via golf cart while the staff member informed me of the festivities going on for the final day of Ramadan. The room was very clean, beautiful and had very modern amenities. I also liked that the provided so much coffee, tea and water. The hotel buildings are all located in the historic Souq Waqif area, so there is plenty to do, see and eat nearby within very short walking distances. I highly recommend if you are staying in Doha.
