1-Reception staff was not very cooperative to get us rooms next to each. Initially she told us no rooms next to each other. We accepted that. But when we entered the rooms we realized that we were given smokers room( we don’t smoke and we have kids). Then she gave us other rooms which were next to each other immediately! 2- hidden fees: We were given specific price for the breakfast upon our check in. However, after having the breakfast, a staff member was sent to our room with different price. The justification was we have not reserved at the check in desk in advance!! However, we were not told about that clearly at all!!

Alwadi Hotel exceeded our expectations! The location is perfect, right by Msheireb and close to Souq Waqif. The hotel is spotless, with luxurious L’Occitane products. Special thanks to Iskandar at reception—his professionalism and warm welcome made our stay even better. The staff assisting with luggage were also fantastic. Highly recommend this hotel for its service, cleanliness, and great location!

Beds and pillows are perfect. Blinds work well. Bathroom was very clean and clear and perfect. The room is spacious and very technological. Staff is very nice. Breakfast was fantastic - the steward even organized all our toiletries/make-up there were unorganized on the first day. Location is def superb - 5 or less minutes walks from the souk and right on the new downtown area.

Nothing to complain, but considering I have to write more sentences, I'd say that: be careful when asking for an uber, since the location does not always go perfectly - staff was eager to help though, and went to get the uber driver that drived past the hotel entrance.

I travel frequently but this is definitely one of the best hotels I have stayed in for some time. The location is perfect - you are bang in the centre of the Msheireb district. The Souq Waqif is literally across the road, the metro station 5 mins walk and less than 10 mins walk to the Corniche. The hotel looks new and is super clean. The rooms are large and I had a great corniche view room on a high floor. Everything is super comfortable, the breakfast is great and there is a nice little pool and spa. On top of that the staff everywhere in hotel go out of the way to make your stay memorable. All in all made for a great stay and would definitely recommend.

Location perfect. Services were very good. We were uograded to an amazing view of Doha. Phenomenal. Hotel staff were very accommodating and helpful. Even the staff outside the entrance would support with taxi luggage loads shopping bags etc Masood was amazing and extremely supportive and helpful.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Alwadi Hotel , and I can confidently say it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The hotel’s location was perfect, offering convenient access to Souq Waqif, yet maintaining a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The room was immaculate, beautifully designed, and equipped with all the comforts one could need. From the cozy bed to the thoughtful amenities, every detail contributed to a comfortable and luxurious stay. The services provided were truly outstanding. Every staff member I interacted with was professional, courteous, and eager to assist. I want to give special recognition to Ghada, whose warmth and attention to detail made a significant difference in my stay. Her assistance and excellent hospitality went above and beyond, making me feel genuinely welcomed and cared for. The hotel has a fantastic location in the heart of Doha, with a short distance to everything from Souq Waqif, the metro, shopping centers, cafés, restaurants, and anything else you might need. The hotel is very clean, and a special thanks to the housekeeping staff, Nily, who is very professional in his job. I always returned to a clean room. All the hotel staff were friendly and helpful when needed. The hotel's facilities are good and well-maintained, carefully selected to match the hotel's style.

I didn’t enjoy the open buffet breakfast. The food didn’t taste quite right and didn’t feel fresh enough. I believe the choice of the British breakfast wasn’t the best option. We also tried the Arabic breakfast offered by the hotel, which tasted better and was sufficient for a breakfast, in addition to being cheaper than the open buffet.

The location was very convenient. Room service is good. The guys at car valet were very nice and flexible.

First they gave us a room at the 3rd floor which is the floor of the gym and restaurant. The floor was noisy, the smell was bad because of the Shisha smoking and no security needed for that floor. First, they told us that this was the only available room: Then after we complained about the floor they provide us a room at the 16th floor. I appreciated it that they replaced the room. But, they shouldn’t provide a less comfortable room when there was better ones available. We had to repack our luggage and move which wasted our time after a long car trip.

First and foremost, the staff of the Alwadi is phenomenal. We have never enjoyed such a fabulous hotel experience and it was due to the personal touches by every single staff member with whom we had contact. The person who chooses and nurtures the Alwadi personnel is to be commended for assembling such a great team. The hotel itself was exceptionally clean, beautifully appointed and located within walking distance of many Doha attractions. Food at the restaurants was always top-notch and the views from the rooftop were stunning, especially after dark. The pool area was a great place to relax with a great, casual restaurant that hosted a nice menu. We also want to extend a very special thank you to Ritu Panthari who touched our hearts and made our short stay memorable beyond words.

Friendly Reception: The receptionist was efficient, caring, and ensured we were attended to quickly, which was appreciated after a frustrating arrival. Good Location: Central and convenient for city access, even though the traffic situation at the entrance was challenging. Decent Room: The room on the highest floor offered a nice view, though it was nothing extraordinary. Comfortable enough for a short stay.

Traffic Chaos at the Entrance: The arrival experience was frustrating, with cars blocking the entrance, and no proper system in place to manage the flow. Watching someone selfishly abandon their car and disrupt others was unacceptable for a five-star hotel. Average Dining Experience: Ordering food came with mistakes, and while the meals were okay in the end, the process left much to be desired. Unmemorable Atmosphere: The hotel felt like a generic city stop - functional but lacking any charm or unique identity. Windy Bar Experience: The rooftop bar had a decent view, but the strong wind made it impossible to enjoy, and there wasn’t much else to keep us there.
