The location is central. The rooms and the hotel were generally clean. Most staff were friendly and helpful. What was served at breakfast could have been more delicious, but it was still sufficient.

The staff at the door are generally busy chatting among themselves, and if your hands are full when entering and exiting the hotel, you should wait for them to notice you or use your feet to open the door. We experienced this almost every time we entered or exited and this can be annoying while with baby strollers. The hotel consists of several buildings. So to have a breakfast, some guests have to go down to the lobby and then walk to another connected building and go up again to the floor where breakfast is served in, and this route can be difficult for guests with baby strollers because you have to go up and down some stairs to reach lifts.

It is a brand new property located 8-10 mins drive from the main attractions and conveniently close to supermarkets and eateries that you can walk to, weather permitting. Staff is excellent; nothing is ever much of a trouble for them. Everyone is always smiling and courteous. I booked a non-refundable stay and erroneously overbooked 1 night. Booking.com tried to communicate with the hotel for a refund of that night or some other solution but in vain. And here special thanks go to Katerina, the Front Desk Manager who took the initiative and spoke to the management. They offered a breakfast for the 3 of us instead of a refund. The room was specious and beautiful. Beds, sofa and chair were all super comfortable. I loved the bathtub being hermetically sealed! I guess the soundproofing in the hotel is good as we almost jesrd no noise. Swimming pool is of a good size and the area is beautiful. Gym is not large but enough and good new machines. Overall, it was excellent. Housekeeping kept checking on us in the morning and evening, inquiring whether we needed anything, and whatever I requested was either brought promptly or followed according to my instruction.

Breakfast is not up to Rotana standard. It was mentioned on the website that it is 115 reals PP or something like that, and I am glad I did not select an option with breakfast. Variety is not that great, and the quality of some items was disappointing. A simple omelette took 20 mins+ for me, and the restaurant was not even that busy. But again - the stuff hands down is the best. The chef was around helping the guests, and the waiters were prompt and courteous.

Just in a perfect location, near a metro station and at the same time not in the middle of the tourist attractions. The staff were very kind and professional. I found everything I needed around the hotel like a supermarket and a beauty salon. Both rooms were very clean and wide with very comfy beds.

I can’t fault the property for anything. The room was quite large and really wonderful, and for a good price/quality ratio in an expensive city like Doha. The beds are immensely comfortable, the bathroom is beautiful and well appointed, and you even get bathrobes and slippers. There is a charging station for your electronics and there is an insulation wall behind the TV so you don’t hear that annoying noise from your neighbors. The property is not in a fancy tourist area of the city, but more in what looks to be a middle class residential neighborhood. But it is a five minute walk from the metro, which I highly recommend using in Doha as it is exceptional, and a five minute walk from a large supermarket. The area is exceptionally quiet, and I slept very well here, which is rare for me, as I am a very light sleeper. The staff is also very kind. They even brought me a heater during my first stay (I stayed here twice on layovers to and from Vietnam) when it was too cold in my room, and the air conditioning could not be adjusted up. All in all, I thought the hotel is excellent, and would definitely stay here again.

This property was so clean and accommodating. It’s a very luxurious place with the staff going above and beyond!! The staff delivered exceptional service and as a solo traveller made me feel very comfortable! If I ever return to Doha I will definitely be staying here again. They helped me out so much when I was stuck and their staff even checked up on me when I was upset one day. I will surely miss them all! Thank you all for a wonderful luxurious stay. The hotel room was exceptionally clean all the time and very reasonably priced for the service and quality I received!! Exceptional. It’s close to everything and set in a nice location. I would definitely recommend staying here

Great bedroom and very comfortable room and bathroom. Good location near a metro and a Lulu supermarket. Quiet neighborhood.

My stay at Riviera Rayhaan by Rotana was truly wonderful. The room was spacious, spotless, and beautifully designed — I especially loved the calming colors and the super comfy bed. Room service was prompt and efficient, and the staff across the hotel were warm and welcoming. The rooftop outdoor pool was a real highlight — it’s larger than most hotel pools I’ve seen, very clean, and perfect for a peaceful swim. Kudos to Kenneth, the lifeguard, for being so engaging and welcoming — he really added to the positive experience. On top of everything, the price was very budget-friendly, especially for the quality offered. Overall, I felt relaxed, well taken care of, and would absolutely love to stay here again

Absolutely amazing experience every part of this hotel exceeded my expectations. The entire team from the reception to valet to housekeeping was simply outstanding! I truly felt like royalty during my stay. The level of service, attention to detail, and warmth from the staff made me feel so special like a princess! And honestly for the price, it's an absolute steal. This place deserves way more than what it charges. Highly recommended

Nothing at all

We recently stayed at the Riviera Rayhaan by Rotana in Doha and had a truly lovely experience from start to finish. Check-in was a breeze – quick, smooth, and efficient, which set the tone for the rest of our stay. The staff throughout the hotel were incredibly friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with a smile. Our room was spacious and well-appointed, offering plenty of room to relax and unwind. The bathroom was especially impressive, with excellent lighting and a dedicated make-up mirror – a thoughtful touch that made getting ready so much easier. The beds were exceptionally comfortable; we all slept like babies every night. One of the highlights of our stay was the seafood buffet. It was fantastic value for money, with a wide variety of delicious dishes and desserts. Everything was fresh and flavorful, and the dining atmosphere was welcoming. Overall, our stay was both comfortable and affordable – a great combination for anyone visiting Doha. We would happily return and highly recommend Riviera Rayhaan by Rotana to others.

There were just a couple of small things that could be improved. The windows in our room unfortunately had a large amount of bird droppings on them, which meant we didn’t feel comfortable opening the curtains to enjoy the view – it would have been lovely to have more natural light and be able to look outside. Additionally, getting into the bathtub was a bit tricky, as the space was quite narrow. It might be especially challenging for older guests or those with limited mobility.
