The location of this hotel is above the Otram Park MRT which is fantastic for travelling around Singapore. The room was quite spacious and clean. The hotel was also very close to Chinatown, just a short walk to resturants, shops and the Hawker centres.

The hotel swimming pool is on the roof half way up the building. It is all paved and there was no shade except a couple of scrawny trees. We enjoyed a dip in the pool but there was no way we could relax by the pool as it was so hot.

On arrival, I was informed that there were no more king beds available for my booking, and that we would only be able to get 2 single beds. We went back and forth, and when I showed that I had booked a king suite, only then did a room with a king bed magically appear. This was a strange experience. The hotel does not seem to be done with the renovation. There was a massive gap under the door, so we had to put towels to stop the light coming in from the corridor.

Maybe the room given was kind of out dated cos the toilet look old and also got stain on the bathroom tiles.... even shock to see there's left over food/thing in the mini fridge mayb it was from the previous guests... however the cleaner should be more alert when checking the cleanliness of the room before letting other guests to check-in

The location was very convenient with Outram Park metro station next door, particularly as we stayed 5 nights. The room was very comfortable and the amenities were good. The complimentary sunday foodie tour was excellent. This was an intriguing factor for me when booking the hotel and after experiencing it, my wife and I wish to compliment the Dorsett for the inclusion of this tour. Also, thanks and compliments to the tour guides, particularly Mr Dennis Lim who was outstanding. I recently retired after 46 years in the airline/travel agency business and know the value of excellent staff. Please be assured that we will recommend the Dorsett Singapore for any of our friends who are considering stopping in Singapore.

I had a fantastic stay at Dorsett Singapore! The hotel is conveniently located next to Outram Park MRT station and just a stone’s throw away from Chinatown, making it easy to explore the city. My room was clean, modern, and comfortable, with all the amenities I needed for a relaxing stay. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with any requests. I particularly enjoyed the stable WiFi and my spacious room. Overall, Dorsett Singapore exceeded my expectations, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Singapore.

There were some issues with the DND light and the safety box in my room, but the staff resolved them quickly. The breakfast buffet at Sensei Sushi & Grill didn’t meet my expectations. The selection was quite limited, and many of the dishes lacked flavour. On a positive note, the staff were friendly, but the breakfast buffet needs significant improvement. If you want to experience authentic local cuisine, head towards the Chinatown Complex. You’ll find a wide range of delicious and reasonably priced food options. For Western food options, walk towards Chinatown Point.

Great location - above Outram Park MRT, one stop away from Chinatown and close to attractions like Gardens by the Bay, yet removed enough to be quiet and peaceful. Love the hotel itself, especially the rooms (clean, comfy and quite a good size for a Singapore hotel) and the beautiful pool views. Also it's near some excellent "hidden gem" cafes, great for coffee lovers.

The lift from the MRT does not have a luggage ramp. There's a hotel restaurant but it appears quite expensive, though there are vending machines and free water and machine coffee in the lobby 👍🏻

shower/toilet/bathroom area is small wish the room was bigger for what we paid for breakfast, not included with hotel booking ($20 on top if booked with booking.com, $30 if booked through the front desk and $32 as a walking). breakfast at the hotel is outsourced and not part of the dorsett hotel. overpriced for not a lot of options. omelette didn't have much salt, congee with century egg didn't have any century egg visible despite multiple scoops showing nothing, skip the breakfast and walk to maxwell or chinatown hawkers for a better meal and half the prioce

After a tough 13 hour flight, this hotel was just perfect for a 3 night layover on our way to cebu, the Philippines. The front desk staff went out of their way to answer each question we put to them. Through them, we figured out the metro system which actually had a station right next door. Only one stop away is the most mesmerising shopping mall ever seen!!!. My wife and I have no hesitation in booking the dorsett hotel on our return journey to Ireland in a month's time. Chinatown, Singapore.....5 minutes walk away. We have stayed in Singapore a few times in the past, but, this hotel and location can not be equalled.

Great location. Easy access to MRT (direct from Changi Airport) right at door step. MRT Outram Park station is interchange to Marina Bay area. Walking distance to China town and easy access to wide range of food. Highly recommended for holiday or business visitors to Singapore.

Wi-Fi coverage range can be better - experience signal drops at some parts of room 718. Hotel nicely upgraded but overlooked the detail to provide the bath towels - one of three bath towels provided was aged and has ripping ends.
