The hotel was fantastic. We were able to get a great nights rest and park the car securely (which is great as we are on a road trip). The pool was fab and the sauna was hot. We had a flat tyre and the hotel was able to recommend a tyre shop as well as provide us later checkout to get back and pack our bags. Iona and Alex at the front desk were particularly helpful and were fabulous ambassadors for the hotel. I would definitely stay again next time I am in Bucharest.

Due to very rainy weather the lovely looking outdoor grill was closed. However we were able to enjoy a French themed buffet at the wine bar.

The interior design was excepional. The staff, extremely friendly & helpful. The room was clean and had great amenities, including espresso machine and free water. The location is fantastic, very quiet and peaceful and the garden is gorgeous

The shower water was not hot enough for me. Also the bathroom had a see-through door, which caused me anxiety especially since the "Do not disturb" sign was missing from my room. I kept imagining the cleaning lady coming in while i was on the toilet🤣

The hotel is located close to our business visit unit in Bucharest and providing paid parking was the right choice for our stay. The room was excellent with all the amenities that we needed - coffee and tea making, safe, excellent internet, bathrobe, slippers, A/C, comfortable bed and pillows. The complimentary bottle of water was a nice touch. Breakfast in the morning was also very good with many choices. Overall an excellent stay. Thank you!

Nothing to mention here. I only have one suggestion for the room - a box with facial tissue will be great to have.

The pool and spa area, and the gym are absolutely fabulous! The breakfast was amazing and with a wide variety of selections. You have the usual things like bacon and cheese but the eggs that were made up in various ways were an awesome surprise. You can also ice skate outside the hotel. While not particularly close to the old town, the location was great for us. The Metro is about 12 min walk and there is no shortage of Uber/Bolt drivers, too. It is also close to Ted coffee, other specialty coffee houses, Luca, and Promenada mall.

The bathroom! IDK if all the rooms are like that, but the design is just weird and inconvenient. The water temp in both the sink and the shower was finicky and annoyingly changed on its own like a sine wave between too hot and too cold. The sink area does not allow you to put much stuff near the sink and there are 0 drawers in there and only 1 hanger even though there is so much more space that is just not used. The color of the wall is another lacking decision which we could not understand and causes the bathroom to seem dark.

Hotel is well equipped, gym is huge and pool too. Site is nice. Premium room is worth the upgrade. Enjoyed the view and outdoor options for seating and relaxation.

Staff helped minimally. Seemed to be on their phones a lot. When asking for a dinner reservation because the restaurant only spoke Romanian, the hotel receptionist used my phone instead of the hotel phone, very odd. Gym not open early in the morning on the weekend. For us travellers, it is imperative that we have options to use the gym or pool at 6am also on the weekends. Stairs to great hall blocked by doors which are inconvenient to open/close with lots of traffic. optimally they stay open or shut.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was nice and clean as well.

We ordered breakfast to go the last night of our stay the day before. We said the time we were leaving and what time we wanted it to be ready. The receptionist wrote it down and said it was not a problem. The next day we went to the reception to get the breakfast we had ordered, and another receptionist said that it was to early and we wouldn't get any breakfast to go. This was quite annoying since we counted on getting breakfast they said we would get, and we hadn't fixed anything to eat for ourselves because of it.

The room was clean and beautiful. The staff was great,they did everything above and beyond. This was a birthday vacation for my father, Daniel did everything to make parents stay amazing, even a nice celebration surprise. We are grateful we had Daniel as our host at CARO. Definitely we will comeback.

Communication between staff could be improved.Payed for everything from day one at check in. After check out the same amount was charged again on my card. Called the reception after and they said they don't know why this happened. They of course payed me back imediately but I find it unsettling to know they can charge your card even after check out and If I wouldn't have received a bank alert no one would have noticed.

The location is very good, close to airport, center of the city, shops. The traffic around was very heavy and it took a long time to travel in and out the hotel. However, this is due to temporary works on the roads. I stayed in a very nice room, great design, comfortable bed, very quiet and clean. Great to be able to go to the World class gym, swimming pool, sauna and rest areas. Check in and check out was very quick and efficient.

Breakfast was disappointing. Cold boiled eggs and cold eggs Benedictine, danish pastry from frozen packs, cheapest yoghurts. Breakfast room design could be more welcoming and updated. No beverage bar in the room. One complimentary bottle of water was available upon my arrival, not renewed afterwards.

“Despite refurbishments, the bathrooms are already showing signs of wear. Breakfast is good but not great, with missing items like freshly baked bread or orange juice, for example. Parking requires a small extra fee, but for renting a suite, it could be included as a goodwill gesture from the hotel.”
