We truly enjoyed our stay at Crystal Palace Hotel. Most of all we liked the cleanness, the design and the friendly staff. Even more, they upgraded our room free of charge and a glass of wine ( which we didn’t open because we are born again christians and we don’t drink alcohol BUT, we appreciated a lot the gift and for sure we’ll come back). I was very happy and because the hotel was spotless clean. In the morning we enjoyed a delicious continental breakfast ( fresh and quality food) and the lunch was amazing as well. Thank you. Everything was perfect, no complains ( and believe me, I went to 5* hotel in Hawaii)

The hotel (room, lobby, breakfast room...) was clean and the rooms were a very good size and comfy. The staff were kind. The location was good for us as we were traveling for business. The area is calm, and had quite a few very nice restaurants, a very good mall close by, etc.

A little bit of lack of coordination Some things (drinks, snacks...) could be credited to the room and others couldn't. Which led to us being chased by the staff to pay for some drinks one of the days, even though we had been told by reception only 30 minutes before that these could be credited to the room.

The welcome was really nice and warm. The hotel has a rather modern look in comparison to other hotels in the city. My room was spacious and adequately equipped with everything I needed. It had a nice bed and a large TV with plenty of channels. The breakfast was really good and there was plenty of choice (including some local specialties). The staff was always attentive and served coffee, tee or juices. There a few bus stops nearby, which makes moving around from the hotel quite easy (although it can be time-consuming: see below).

The shower is elevated (probably to account for the sanitary installation) which meant the shower head couldn't be above my head (I'm normal sized) for showering, but it was still fine. The ventilation system in the bathroom wasn't that effective. Maybe it's linked to the AC which I didn't need. The view from the window into a backyard with smoking people and some not to good looking buildings was also not that nice. Although the hotel is in the city it can still be quite time-consuming to go to the city centre. The bus, which was supposed to take 25 min, in the end travelled 85 minutes due to traffic. It seems that a tram line is being built in front of the hotel, which means it could get better once the tram line opens.

I liked the professionalism of the staff ( I received a bottle of wine with a handwritten message from the hotel) the cleanliness, the quality of food, the comfy bed (I slept 10 hours!), it is a great hotel.

I did not like the Sauna. It seems something that I have done myself (benches on which you have to climb to sit on the proper level, it is not properly assembled, hole under the door (spaces where it is losing a lot of heat). It is placed in the basement, far from the shower/ toilets. For such a nice hotel, it is such a pity that the gym and showers have been reconditioned and the sauna is such in a poor condition.

Very welcoming staff, professional and warm, ready to act on the spot to make one's stay comfortable. The facilities were clean and well maintained. The restaurant served continental breakfast with a variety of choices and very good drinks like tea, coffee, juices, water. The restaurant hosts did everything possible to make your meal pleasant and enjoyable. All tables were always clean and well arranged for the next guest. I will return with pleasure and I recommend this hotel and the excellent team.

This is not about I didn't like but about some suggestions. There should be a box of facial tissue available. Maintenance services should check and clean the sink and shower drains as they do not drain fast enough and might flood the room if left unsupervised or if it takes too long for shaving/brushing teeth or taking a shower. A list with the contents of the mini-fridge will be helpful to give the guest an idea of variety and prices.

All the staff were lovely (at the Reception and during breakfast). Our room was great (received a comp upgrade as well - thank you so much!), with a coffee machine, bathrobes and slippers. And the bathroom was one of the most spacious bathrooms I have ever seen, fantastic for 2 x ladies staying :) The breakfast buffet was amazing quality, with hot and cold options, fruit etc, and slightly different every day. The location of the hotel is perfect, 15 minutes by car to the airport and a short walk to the metro station, which takes to you the city centre in 10 minutes.

The only issue was the safe in the room not working, but other than that - great!

An impressive business style hotel in a residential part of the city. Nice welcome from the staff and upgraded to an executive room on arrival. Lobby and bar area looked great. Extensive menu available for evening meals and excellent hot and cold buffet breakfast. Everyone one I met was very polite and helpful. It was very clean and surprisingly, not too expensive. It has a car park if you are arriving by car and was only 15 minutes walk from the nearest Metro station if you prefer the public transport option (I did). There were a few local shops/supermarkets within walking distance to buy food/drink etc.

I had 4 nights here and enjoyed my stay enormously. The hotel is not close to any tourist sights and you are a little way out of the centre of the city if that is important to you. My room was slightly dark near the desk area and the bed was a little soft for my taste, but none of this would stop me returning to this hotel. The hotel is situated on a main road, so it is worth asking for a bedroom on the far side if that is a factor

We got a complimentary upgrade to a junior suite. There was even a personalised note in the hotel room thanking us for choosing to stay at this hotel, and a bottle of wine. There were a good variety of foods to choose from at the breakfast buffet. Hotel staff were nice and helpful. The location was good. Only a 10 minute walk to the metro station. The parking lot was easily accesible. It had a good amount of parking spaces and it was actually free, which is not the case for many hotels in Bucharest.

Fantastic welcome; the room was large, very clean, a lovely hand written personalised welcome note was on the table. The bed was fabulous and I slept like a baby! Access to the hotel was easy and the hotel has a decent size car park; I found a space just outside the main entrance. The reception staff was extremely nice; I wanted a large bottle of water around midnight and they found one (rather than two small ones).

Wonderful stay – exceeded expectations! I had an amazing experience at this hotel. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, the room was spotless and comfortable, and the location was perfect – close to everything but still quiet and relaxing. Breakfast was delicious, with plenty of fresh options. I truly felt welcomed and taken care of. Highly recommended – I would definitely come back!
