I stayed two nights in Touq Balad. It was my first trip to Saudi Arabia and I am a solo female traveller. Arrived very late at night (around 3 am). Desk is always staffed and it felt very safe. The room was clean, beautifully decorated. There is a kettle in the room but there is also a coffee machine near reception where you can pay for better coffee and buy simple snacks and drinks. The location is not far from the historic district. I was very happy with my choice and the welcome from the staff.

Staffs were responsive in communication before and during our stay. Room was spacious and comfortable. Everything was clean and wifi was strong. Delicious Arabic coffee were provided at the reception. Breakfast which consist of foul, eggs, jam, cheese , falafel and bread were served in the room daily.The manager Ahmed kept in contact with us during our stay. From the airport, we took the airport express bus to Balad and from there it is less than 10 mins walk to the hotel. The surrounding area has many shops and the touristy part of Balad is also walking distance. Recommended hotel.

If you need your room to be cleaned daily, you might need to alert the reception as housekeeping might not be done daily.

I liked how clean and convenient it is. It definitely exceeded our expectation. For its price, i thought we will be getting budget hotels that are old and stinky. but the rooms are obviously newly renovated and are very much clean!

We asked for an extra bed. we thought we will be getting a pull out bed but they gave us a single foam that’s kind of old. and we had to do it ourselves. only thing i didn’t like.

Perfect spot to visit the old souks in Jeddah. From here you can easily walk around the old part of Jeddah which comes alive at night. The hotel was great. Compact but very clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful, in particular thanks to Emad Salam. They parked our car and brought it when we needed it. Thank you.

A hotel very close (walking distance) to the historic center of Jeddah, which is remarkable. There are numerous shops in the surrounding area. The rooms are spacious and very clean, and all the staff are warm and professional. There is free parking available about 50 meters from the hotel.

Good Basic Hotel walking distance from Balad area Room was fine with all basic facilities in place. Also have a good coffee beding machines and basic necessity stuff available at the reception.

Location is a little off and have to walk appx 10mins for the market area, but considering the current options, this is a good bet.

the staff were nice and attentive. we had clean and comfortable accommodation.

there were some slight problems but nothing major. for example only one room slipper when therr were 2 guests. but the room was carpetted so for me it was ok.

Great location, within walking distance to Al-Balad. We have received a very warm welcome and were able to check in early after an overnight flight, which was amazing. Would stay again, definitely! The property was simple but clean and comfortable.

The room was spacious, clean and not short of anything

The price was a bit high especially on it's location. We had to ask for additional towel as they put one in a double room, but was given straight away. No slippers in the toilet

Clean and confortable room with large shower and toilet room. Air condition works well. Walking distance from the old town (10-5 min). Good value for money

Communication can be occasional difficult since part of the staff have limited understanding of english.
