Our room looked better than it does in the pictures. It was very spacious and comfy, with all facilities - large bed, two closets, large bathroom and a nice little terrace. I especially liked that there were windows all around instead of walls (no worries about privacy though). Room was cleaned two times a day, they stocked the water every time which is a small but appreciated detail. They have security on site at all times and we felt safe enough that we didn't even lock our rooms. Location is another plus - right in front of the beach. The staff were amazing, very attentive throughout our stay, the owners are there most of the time and it really makes a difference. The food was great, we got full board and it was well worth it, you can order from the a la carte menu which is a very big plus. Sometimes waiting times for the food to arrive were a bit long but it was so good that we weren't bothered. Also you can order in advance if you want to have the food at a certain time. Small details that make a difference - water, coffee and tea, ice creams were available all day for free. The place was quiet and cosy, honestly we felt like we were at home for the week.

We loved that the prosperity was a small, boutique hotel right in the ocean. Everything was close, even the little town. We were also delighted when first experiencing a meal. This is where they put themselves above all the rest. The food is amazing and the presentation was top notch. The staff are helpful in presenting different experiences and we’re very knowledgeable about the area. We went on a small Dow sunset Dow ride and it was a lovely experience. The hotel set that up for us. I noticed that there were a few guests that chose to come for a month. That is how good it is. For those who need wifi, it was available all over the property. The beach area was amazing. The swimming was great right at the hotel. We also enjoyed the seating area by the pool. We had a wonderful experience.

The restaurant was the best part of this stay! There isn’t a lot of variety for good food spots in Diani so I’m so happy we chose to stay here. We stayed for 7 nights. The resort is a very quiet, private oasis. The staff were amazing! Very attentive and friendly. It’s a very personalized experience, everyone will know your name. The owner and manager were there everyday to provide recommendations or book any day activities. If you’re looking for a quiet place to chill out this would be it. But don’t expect a vibe at night, no bar, early nights.

The room was okay. I expected more, we booked the deluxe double with sea view. The bed was extremely uncomfortable, hard as a rock. There wasn’t very good water pressure in the shower. All and all, considering the property is 3 years old, room could use some maintenance. It was very clean though and they service your room multiple times a day. You’re also in the main part of the “house” by the kitchen so it isn’t very quiet in the mornings with the food bell ringing etc. I would recommend booking a standard room cause they’re in their own area outside the house, where the monkeys hang out! The beach was nice from a distance, there are a lot of hagglers on the beach so the moment you step out from the resorts private beach area, you get bombarded. So it’s nice they have it fenced in.

Highlights: the reviews are accurate: boutique 5 star hotel with an amazing restaurant right next to the beach. Top notch attention to detail, security, food, caring owner and staff. The hotel, food, proximity to beach, the management, and the team are simply the best. First, Searenity and the expert was the best. The best boutique hotel I’ve ever stayed in the world, the best restaurant in Africa I’ve visited, and the best service my wife and I have received. Second, we are rebooking for our next stay already before we left and told our friends and family.

Nothing is 100% perfect, but Searenity comes pretty darn close. Two things that suggest for them to improve: 1. The road to get to the property from the main road should eventually be paved. 2. Central air. Again, these are just two long term fixes. Also, maybe they could expand the size of the hotel so we can bring our whole extended family cos the place and the beach should be shared 😊.

We stayed at Searenity for 6 nights and absolutely loved it. The staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful and made us feel very welcome. The owner suggested and organized some tours around Diani which we enjoyed a lot. When you stay at the hotel, you eat your meals in the restaurant (no buffet - you can simply choose from the menu). We tried many different things over the week and everyhting was delicious. The location is also perfect, directly at the beach and with a beautiful view from the restaurant. We highly recommend this place and will definitely return if we come back to Diani.

Excellent options for meals. The food was fantastic and very tasty. Obviously prepared with love and expertise. The staff were amazing, very professional and attentive. Jas was a fantastic host, taking time to talk to us and recommend things to do. Diana town is close and there are very many good restaurants close by. We had a fantastic stay

Sadly it rained on most of the day. Still managed to enjoy ourselves.

The staff were fantastic from the owners who welcomed us to everybody on and around the site. They were helpful and friendly without being overbearing and were a delight to speak with about Kenya and the local area. The food was another level of fantastic and allowed my partner and I to enjoy different meals every time and also catered for all dietary requirements. Everything on the menu was cooked phenomenally and they ensured that as residents we had seating for every meal we wished to take. Furthermore, they were brilliant for helping us with things to do in and around the area and were organising transport to bars, restaurants and boat rides when we wished.

Honestly, the only thing I didn't like was that we couldn't stay there any longer.

1- Location and Wi-Fi: The hotel’s beachfront location is ideal, just a short walk from Diani Shopping Center where you can exchange money. The staff are quick to arrange tuk-tuks or taxis. The area is centrally located, with local souvenir shops within walking distance. The Wi-Fi works well throughout most of the hotel and in the restaurant, though it’s less effective near the beach. However, with the tranquil setting, you won’t always need Wi-Fi. 2- Cleanliness: Impeccable cleanliness with rooms serviced twice daily. We stayed in the beachfront room, which was spacious and perfect for relaxing outside. The room includes a safe, hot water, multiple electrical sockets, and an iron on request. They even offered to iron our clothes. 3- Staff: The staff are exceptional. The owner, Jaz, is incredibly friendly and attentive, always checking on us to ensure our comfort. Selma, who contacted us before arrival, made us feel like family. She handled bookings, trips, and car arrangements swiftly, creating a personal touch to our stay. Every staff member, from the waiters and receptionists to the pool staff, cleaners, kitchen team, and security, was well-trained, friendly, and hospitable. 4- Food: The restaurant serves delicious food with great service. While there might be a wait, it’s worth it for the fresh, expertly prepared meals. Their homemade ice creams, especially the mango sorbet, are a highlight. Breakfasts and dinners were perfect. The restaurant’s popularity is evident, and after trying other places in Diani, I can confidently say Anchor stands out as one of the best. If you miss a meal due to a tour or arrive late, they will prepare food and leave it in your room.

Our stay was exceptional on all fronts. The villa is located on a beautiful beach front with amazing views of the Indian ocean and walking access the beach. The villa ground are well kept and beautifully designed and the swimming pool is just another cherry on top. The room we stayed in was spacious and super comfortable. The staff and hotel management were very friendly and super thoughtful and helpful. Food was unbelievably tasty and fresh. There is lots to do around the area and distance to the Tsavo safari park is reasonable for a 2 day or longer trip. We had a fantastic stay and there is nothing I would have changed about it.

Fantastic boutique hotel set in a tranquil part of Diani Beach. Modern and clean rooms, very spacious and we even had a beautiful sea view. We were on a full board plan and for foodies with an appetite, this was amazing. Great variety of food and the quality was fantastic. Lovely cocktails as well. The hotel is literally steps away from the sea and in a private compound, so felt safe at all times, means you don't get hassled by any people trying to sell you stuff whilst relaxing. Even then, this part of Diani Beach is definitely more peaceful than further south where there are more large resorts (so the sellers tend to focus their efforts there). Finally I must mention the excellent service from everyone here. Jas and Selma welcomed us to the hotel very warmly and were on hand to assist with any of our queries throughout our stay. Whenever we wanted to arrange to do any activities eg water sports, massage, etc - this could be done via Mercy at reception! And not to forget all the friendly and fun restaurant staff (special shoutout to Jason). Thank you all again!

Nothing to fault, it really was a perfect stay. Only very minor suggestions would maybe be to add more loungers for hotel guests and maybe a bit more clarity on where to obtain beach towels.
