Very clean and fresh room, fairly comfortable bed, good coffee in the room fthats an important one for me !) lovely spacious bathroom and hot shower. The staff are very welcoming and helpful, cosy little bar and relaxed feel in the lounge and restaraunt. The food is phenomenal. Everything we had was lovely. High quality and very reasonable- the breakfast was the cheapest I’ve eaten at an hotel , and I’d have paid double for it. Really well executed meals.

Nothing really, if I had to pick, the only thing is the walls are thin and the doors are heavy so you do hear everything . If you’re a light sleeper bring ear plugs . We had some noisy neighbours coming in late but that’s just one of these things. No fault of the place at all.

Intend was a stay in a hotel with restaurant after a long day of hikes in the highlands, warm and comfortable to get a good night's rest and easy commute to Airport in Edinburgh next morning. Parking was spacious and in front of house. The location was as such fabulous for us, for people visiting callander beware it is not central to the town. The food in the restaurant was exceptional and a nice change from pubfood- definately in another league. The drinks seemed to be more locally resourced and nice. I can imagine with the large space, that festivities and catering are probably great. The room was on arrival cold , and the building and its pipes are probably a bit aged and needed time, but electric hot shower and comfortable warm beds. The decor is to a european person "very scots' but also very enjoyable. The price we paid for a room accommodating three was very reasonable and cheaper than we had in other locations with less space.

it was on arrival a bit cold. We were there in April- not main season and it was quite empty. I believe that heat was fired up on our arrival and i am on the cold side whereas other family members felt fine.

The hotel is a three stars. The accommodation was well and the staff was friendly. We arrived late, after the last check-in time, because the traffic was blocked, and the host waited for us, after we sent him a message. We could even drink a beer and a whisky after check-in. Also we booked an extra room with a priority price. The breakfast was ok, very big portion and very hard food (scotish menu), but they oferred us a light menu, both good. In front of the hotel is a free parking lot.

The location is well for visiting Stirling Castle, but is very far to visiting Edinburgh, especially because during the evening most of the access roads to Edinburgh are being working on and many of them are close (especially highway).

The staff are lovely. The breakfast is plentiful. The room was reasonably big. Bed was big and comfortable. The bathroom had a big modern shower. Quiet in the outskirts of the town. 10 minutes walk.

We left really early, no one in reception. However, we left the keys in the box. Big sign saying book your breakfast the night before. We didn't, and our waitress said not to worry and welcomed us into the restaurant.

A hotel that feels like a home. Plenty of parking spaces, large light bedrooms, comfy beds and chairs, clean bathroom and roomy shower. Excellent menu for breakfast. Lovely staff. Good security, and quiet location. And my husband’s favourite - sumptuous carpets!

The bathroom radiator wasn’t working, which made the room a bit chilly. We would have liked breakfast a little earlier, at 8am instead of 8.30am, for a quicker departure on our last day. But these are both inconsequential to our otherwise excellent experience.

Full scottish Breakfast was 10/10 delicious The girl assistant manager was very polite and very welcoming on our first stay here A place to park in hotel grounds for car Lovely lounge areas to sit while having a drink

We were in a twin room, but this was a last-minute booking. It was ok clean and tidy, lovely size bathroom with shower but next time, i would try a more expensive room with more space

Beautiful landscape Room was lovely

The room was cold. No bathrobes. Bath plug wouldn’t lift up to drain so had to leave bath full with dirty, cold water for a poor staff member. There was a function on so it was after 12 am before it went quiet, I appreciate no. Is right at the front door but charging £200 per night to be lying in bed unable to sleep because of others is a real inconvenience. I wouldn’t have picked that room had I know it’s location or about the function. We sat for an hour before we got our evening meal which was too long.

Room was spotless, great size room and great size of bathroom. Lovely view from the room as well. Only there for a wedding nearby, but would have stayed longer if we could have.

Stairs a bit steep going up to our room on the top floor, but wasn't a dislike, more an observation.

It was a good location with easy parking. Only a short walk to the town centre.

Our room was very noisy until at least 10pm. I think it's because we were above the kitchen and it was warm so all the windows were open. Found the standard double bed a bit small, but that was my own fault as I knew that was what I'd booked.

Staff helpful and pleasant got me booked in quickly and efficiently. Building and room well presented and all very pleasant, clean and welcoming. Would use again.

The only problem with the room is that even though all radiators were turned off the room was stiflingly hot, so much so that I had to open the window in the night. I had to park round the back - no problem but the bin area could do with a tidy!
