While it was a little further away from the city, everything was quickly reachable by Bus. Thus, you did not really noticed the distance. Also the room was very comfortable and a lot of great kitchen gadgets. Finally, the CheckIn Process was very smooth and customer friendly without having to use an in person receptionist.

The accommodation was found to be comfortable, tastefully decorated and well-equipped, in accordance with the description provided. On arrival, the property was found to be very quiet and clean. It is conveniently located for public transport, with bus stops for lines 2 and 3 situated just around the corner.

There is no reception desk. Housekeeping services was not provided during a four-night stay. We completed the check-in process online but initially did not receive the access code, as this is shared with WhatsApp as a default. After a brief period, we contacted the emergency number and received the property and room access code via email. Given the price point, we would have expected at least one housekeeping service within our four-night stay.

I had a fantastic stay at this apartment! Communication was excellent—every question was answered clearly and promptly. The host was incredibly kind and accommodating, making the entire experience even more enjoyable. The apartment itself was good located, with everything easily accessible. Every detail was carefully thought out, from small touches like coffee, tea, water and snacks to the overall setup of the space. The amenities were outstanding, with everything necessary provided and in perfect condition. What you see in the pictures is exactly what you get—modern, clean, and well-maintained accommodation. An added bonus was the access to the spa and gym, which made the stay even more enjoyable. Everything was beyond expectations, and I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and well-equipped stay!

Clean and excellent service

Good location and easy to get to the city centre, train stations and buses. I mean public transport in general

I had a great stay at Master Altona Hotel. • The location is very convenient close to public transport. • The room was modern, super clean, and well-equipped with everything I needed. • The bed was comfortable, and the space felt quiet and safe. • The staff at the virtual reception was friendly, helpful, and professional throughout my stay. • Check-in and check-out were smooth and efficient. Overall, a great experience. I would gladly stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Hamburg.

Getting the entrance code was not easy. I do not use Whatsapp which is the priviledged way chosen by the managers. I was able to contact them through the booking interface and then able to talk to a person who was helpful and sent the access code by email but unfortunately it went into the spam folder which i did not check immediately (only much later). Luckily a cleaning lady finishing her shift was really helpful and contacted the managers on my behalf and this allowed me to enter the room, get the wifi password etc...

You will receive your password with an email on the day you will arrive. There is noone to greet you as reception and you see noone. So make sure to check your email. The same password is used for entrance to the building and your room. -The room was very clean. -It had everything we required in the room, kitchen and bathroom. -The room had kitchen appliances (oven, refrigerator, a coffee machine, an electric-kettleetc with plates and knives etc.), hairdryer, TV, a couch. -The design was great and it was large. -We went in March and the room heating was good. -We requested a crib for our baby and it was in the room when we arrived. -Price was great for the room. -There is a market in walking distance. -We used a hired car so I am not sure about the location but metro was also in a walking distance. -The hotel is in a very calm and secure neighbourhood. -Parking is a bit tricky. Parking is a problem in Hamburg so it is in the hotel too. You can pay for it but if you are lucky you can find a parking spot in the front street for free.

We knew there was not a cleaning service as long as we stayed but the trash is not collected the same way. So the trash was not taken for 1 week. Other than that everything was great.

It’s very clean, the bed is comfortable, and the room has everything you need

I arrived really late and the code needed to enter the building wasn’t working. I called them and fortunately they answered but it was very inconvenient. They also mentioned that they have gym and sauna, but they never mentioned that you have to go the adjacent Leonardo Hotel to get access to it.

The apartment is very well equipped with quality furniture and facilities which gives you a feeling that you are staying in a nice hotel. The bed and pillow selection is comfortable. Cleanliness was top notch and the air conditioning made the apartment very comfortable to stay. The place is designed for two people but three people can stay if a sofa bed is used. There are two bar type tall stools around the tall table. So if you want dining in the apartment one should stand or sit on the bed. There is plenty of storage for clothes and stuff.

Nothing to complain about. The staff was helpful and the communication was good.

Everything was well thought-through, including: Sufficient seating Lots of Wardrobe space and hangers Iron and ironing board Good lighting Mirrors Kitchen included essentials such as olive oil, salt/pepper/sugar and coffee/tea, and washing up liquid. Everything was new and to a good standard. It was perfectly located for where we needed to go, and a 12 min walk to Ottensen station and the Sbahn.

The only slight drawback is that the aircon did not seem capable of dealing with the hot and humid conditions at the time of out stay. The room remained too warm and humid during our stay despite the aircon being set to 16 degrees.
