Clean, spacious, shower is huge, and the property is a silent spot. Even though it’s Haad Rin, it’s in the North end, no loud music. You can also get directly to the bungalows just uphill opposite the near 7eleven, and park your bike near your stay. You don’t have to drag your stuff along the beach. This was our second stay here.

No pool, no food, but they offer to serve breakfast/snacks from the neighboring place as room service. Take care of your own taxi or ride. The lower half of the property is unbuilt (reception), but the upper part where the rooms are is lush, clean, and better comfort compared to many at the same price.

The room is huge with a very comfortable bed. Tea and coffee facilities and bottled water supplied everyday. The property is perfect walking distance to the town without being too noisy from the full moon. The villa is set in green surroundings back from the beach. Lots of bird songs throughout the day. They also had security guards on the night of the full moon to stop anyone coming off of the beach which was extra reassurance. Good electric shower that you could set to hot or cold. Beach towels also supplied which was a nice touch. Very clean bedding and towels too.

A mirror in the main room would have been great and hooks for towels in the bathroom or elsewhere to help dry items. The bathroom was older and worn, the shower was new though and worked very well.

The bungalows were great. Quiet and comfy. Great shower, always had hot water. Quiet at night time. It’s located at the other end of the beach away from the full moon beach bars. Very easy walk to all bars and restaurants via the beach. Staff were great. Room was cleaned when requested. Also they all have an epic little patio to chill on at night

Would have gave it a perfect rating but it’s still has construction ongoing for the beach bar/restaurant at the beach. No noise From the construction while we were there though. But we were out from morning to night

I spent 4 days/nights @ Aquavana resort with my 15 yr old son. We were familiar with and proffered that end of Haad Rin Beach having stayed next door at Sanksara before. Our bungalow was amazing, spotless, with two beds, big clean bathroom with separate shower, vanity area & toilet. Facilities inside were above and beyond what we expected, especially as the cost per night was extremely reasonable. Though not on the beach, the block of the resort is, so just had to wander down the steps and through the coconut trees to access the stunning beach and surrounds. Staff were amazing. When we arrived they were waiting for us and even knew my name despite not letting them know when we were expected. Offered us a bottle of cold water, Carried our bags all the way up (we were on the last bungalow near the road) Daily clean was available, if we wanted, though we chose not to bother them with that. A/C worked brilliantly. Great balcony with chairs and table. Very impressed and would highly recommend. Also.. No restaurant, but plenty of options to explore.

Lovely beach side bungalow, right on the beach. The bungalow itself was modern, clean and spacious.

They are currently developing the facilities here (pool and beach bar), the construction is not annoying though and I imagine once it’s been built this place will be able to offer better amenities. Also, the road to get to the hotel is difficult if you have mobility issues, I imagine once the construction is complete they will tarmac the road.

Nice, well-kept grounds, terrace with comfy seating and partial sea view, quiet, close to beach, big room, clean, comfy bed, lots of storage space and wall plugs, lots of amenities, tv with Netflix and YouTube, close to lots of restaurants and shops.

No bedside reading light. A briefing of the island would have been appreciated, with tips and recommendations. Got this when I arrived at my guesthouse on Koh Tao, found it thoughtful and very helpful. Staff were nice, but the place was rather impersonal. Too bad, because there’s a lot of space/potential to create a common area of sorts. Have to go elsewhere to rent a bike. Part of the road isn’t paved which makes driving a bike into the parking lot more risky.

Very convenient for the beach. Nice simple quiet accommodation. No sun loungers (as not directly on the beach) but lying on the beach was fine. No breakfast, but plenty of options just a short walk.

Not keen on Haad Rin (but if this is somewhere you want to go but want quiet accommodation this would be ideal). They didn't arrange transfer to the next resort and said better if I arranged myself (which didn't go well).

The entrance to the hotel territory is ugly, the road is partially washed out, they made an embankment like a speed bump, over which the car moves with great difficulty, once we almost sat on the bottom and did not get stuck!!! Why did they make such an embankment? The main thing is for what and from whom? Bring this section of the road to normal condition!

The staff were lovely, very helpful and the chap on reception had very good English. The location is great, just far enough from the nightlife for the noise levels to be low but close enough to walk down the beach. The room was a great size, and the bed was very comfy. The chap on reception called us a taxi to take us back to the pier on check out.

Nothing would stay here again.

The location was almost right at the beach, the bungalow was spacious, clean and quiet. The bed was really comfortable and the air conditioner was good as well - it had a sleep mode which made it quiet.

We were there during the rainy season and the road to get to the property was a little bit difficult to navigate.
