The staff at Hotel Castel Oswald von Wolkenstein is exceptionally professional, friendly, and attentive. They go above and beyond to make guests feel welcome and comfortable. A special mention goes to Maria and David from the service team, as well as the receptionist, who were all extremely kind and helpful. The hotel itself feels brand new, impeccably clean, and beautifully maintained. The food was delicious, and the location is perfect for exploring the surrounding area. The garden surrounding the hotel is stunning, and the spa area adds a wonderful touch of relaxation to the stay.

There was nothing we disliked. Everything met or exceeded our expectations.

I was really happy with the hotel. The food was really good, I booked half board package, and that also included afternoon snack free of charge. The location was good, it allowed me to move around the area with local buses and it was for free as I got my weekly bus ticket at the hotel. The hotel Staff was really nice and helpful. They provided me with lots of material for local activities. Restaurant staff was also extremely friendly and made me feel very comfortable.

The hotel is the cleanest hotel I have ever stayed in, the staff were very professional, helpful and friendly. The food was incredible some of the best meals in Italy, they deserve high honors. Couldn’t have asked for a better location to launch all of our hiking and biking adventures.

The rooms while super clean and nice are a little spartan.

The daily breakfast was exceptional, with so many options. We ate dinner there twice, and it was also very good and varied, but sometimes felt like too much! Staff was very friendly and helpful, and we felt right at home.

The room got a little warm at night, but we learned to leave the balcony door open to keep the room cooler.

Everything!! Location, views, amenities, food and last, but certainly not least, the staff. Everyone was welcoming and helpful. Our room was fabulous with views to the mountains. Meals (breakfast and dinner) were wonderful. We would highly recommend!

Wonderful place to take a break and go hiking in the mountains. Very comfortable bed, silent rooms, nice breakfast. A good structure with everything you need in your activities if you ask the reception. We really had a good time there.

This was my favorite place on our trip. The facility was amazing. Our room was upgraded by Booking.com. The hotel is run by family and they were great. Gabriela spoke the best English so we depended on her the most. She was so helpful and kind to us. David our server was also great. We looked forward to seeing him at our meals. We opted to have dinner and happy hour at the spa and it was a great value!

I really can't say anything bad about this place. I would definitely stay here again.

A charming alpine hotel, with a very friendly, welcoming staff. Location just out of the busy part of town kept nighttime noise down--the backyard is already cow pasture country suitable for easy walks. The hotel supplied complementary bus passes, so access to Seceda and Alpe de Siusi lifts was very convenient without a car. The restaurant was wonderful--buffet breakfasts, and the evening meals featured regional dishes that were interesting and delicious. Complimentary hiking poles.

The inexpensive rooms don't have the great views shown on the website, and our balcony was 4' wide fronting a gravel parking garage rooftop, the main view dominated by neighboring rooftops. The view from the room is of particular importance to us, so this was unfortunate.

Great location - close to trails and few minutes drive to other towns. Free parking with electric car charger. Comfortable bed. AMAZING breakfast. Front staff very nice too.

The restaurant was excellent. The staff was so welcoming and the property was top tier. The location was perfect for walking around the town and the local hills. We loved our stay and will be back!
