First of all we are not golfers and really the whole accommodation thing is based around that. We chose it based on its location for a charity walk we were doing the following day. The room was right next to the club house although we didn’t hear too much noise The room was very modern and had everything that was needed for an overnight stay. It was a good size family room with good comfortable beds although I would have preferred a better pillow I assume the clubhouse restaurant was typical? The menu for dinner and breakfast was limited and not much choice for a vegetarian and definitely not vegan The staff were all efficient but not particularly friendly

The rooms are excellent - for the most part very quiet and sound proofed, except the aircon which is a tad noisy in a small room but manageable - in fact we switched it off anyway as can get fresh air from the windows and nice and quiet outside so no issue. Staff very friendly and great location.

We've stayed here before and the pros definitely outweigh the cons but one area where I would say there is room for significant improvement is the breakfast offering. It is offered int he club house - which is fine in itself but the quality of the food is not great to be honest and the choice is very limited. Ok if you want a sausage sandwich or a full English but other than that it is really is very limited and the quality is average at best - so for an accommodation of this quality they need to up their game on the food side.

I can't fault this hotel even if I tried. We held a friend's birthday at the venue and everything met our expectations. Staff were accommodating and went 'above and beyond' to make, not only the day special but our entire 2 night stay. Special mention to Jaimie, who paid attention to every detail and was friendly and professional throughout. Nothing was too much for this fantastic team. From the start, meeting the events team, reservations, and everything in between. Rooms are tastefully furnished, and the views of the prestine golf course are very satisfying (ask for balcony room). Buffet breakfast for our group was served hot and was very tasty. I would highly recommend this hotel for any celebrations or even a weekend away. 5 star experience echoed by the group i was with

Friendly staff, Huge room, amazing underfloor heating and shower in the bathroom. Breakfast was nice, arrived quickly and the table had a lovely view of the golf course. Area is super fancy and very quiet at night.

Would be nice to have biscuits included in the room tray and to have a reminder in the bathroom about green benefits of not having towels cleaned each day (as standard in many hotels now) Also would've liked a separate recycling bin for the glass water bottles. I prefer a continental breakfast but understand this might not be possible with it being served in the club house.

Everything about this place was wonderful. First class facilities, food and service. We booked this single stay at the very last minute. Our return flight to a foggy Gatwick was delayed by over five hours. Although we arrived at the hotel at 03.30 am, we were provided with a fantastic room and everything we needed. The late checkout and breakfast times were a total life saver!! All we can say is a very big thank you. At twenty minutes from Gatwick Airport, this hotel is a great location, without the hectic environment often associated with some airport boundary hotels. Would recommend to anyone as a pre or post flight oasis of calm!!!

Can't beat this place for quality and value.

We booked on short notice (on the same day) due to our other accommodation being cancelled. It was a stop-over on our way back to London. We did the check-in in the afternoon as we knew that we would not be returning before 2 am. Room was decent-sized in the back of the building with a nice view over the golf course. Spotless clean. Staff was welcoming on arrival. Free parking and breakfast was included as well. When we came back it was pretty chilly, so we upped the heating but the room still felt a bit chilly. In the morning a freshly prepared breakfast that could be chosen from a set menu was being served in the clubhouse next door.

The room and the breakfast area were a bit chilly but nothing too serious. Breakfast options were limited.

The location is very quiet considering how close to the M25 it is, and the Lodge (which is next door to the golf clubhouse but separate from it) has good sound insulation so it's a very peaceful location. The room was very comfortable and warm, with a door to a big shared balcony and a view over the golf course. Bathroom facilities were top notch and everything was very good quality and well-maintained. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Overall very good value.

Nothing much. Breakfast was next door in the clubhouse and had to be ordered from a menu, which limited choice a little compared to a buffet. But it was hot and well-cooked, and coffee was good. We also used the clubhouse bar in the evening which saved driving out to the pub.

The hotel is situated within the grounds of a golf course. Our room was very clean, the bed was very comfortable, and had tea and coffee facilities. In the bathroom there were toiletries, and the shower was excellent. Our evening meal in the clubhouse was delicious, and breakfast was good. Although the menu is not extensive both breakfast and dinner were cooked to a very good standard. We would definitely use this hotel again when visiting the area in the future.

There was noting to dislike at this hotel.

The room was so clean, confortable and the layout and facilites within were great, the jacuzzi bath was an unexpected bonus. We were upgraded at no extra charge, this was very much appreciated and made our stay that bit better. The food in the bar was great and the decor and staff represented the high standard perfectly. Thank you

The only negative we have is regarding the welcome and check out, this is more about the member of staff than the actual hotel. The greeting was unfriendly, we felt like a burden to her rather than a guest. The room we had was on the first floor and we were told "its just up the stairs", After carrying my case up the stairs we noticed a lift right opposite our room. No smile, no conversation, which really let the excellence of the hotel.down, in this role, a happy welcoming demeanour is crucial and this young lady definately did not have this with us. Such a shame that this was the case as the hotel is just excellent.

Great location, nicely decorated, good size room, friendly helpful employees and quiet. Good size bed and hotel obliging about our request for it to be a twin (thank you). Good meal in the restaurant and fair prices for room and meal.

Very creaky floorboards on door side of the bed! Impossible to get to the bathroom without waking up the other person. We had an early start, had gone to bed and had the windows open for fresh air, so the beeping of the golf carts being moved around at 10:45pm for quite some time outside our open bathroom window was a bit annoying but I guess it’s a job that had to be done! We closed the windows and had to work out the aircon instead. (NB: It would be helpful to have a ‘quick guide’ to the aircon on the wall beside the control. They all have their ‘quirks’ on the controls! ) Not a deal breaker and we would definitely use the hotel again but perhaps the carts could be moved earlier?
