Room was large and well-appointed (with excellent tea/coffee service). Bed was immense and comfortable. A large, and again quirky, lobby with a nice bar was pleasant, and a welcome exception to the rule for hotels in small French towns/cities. The en suite shower room which was also delightfully quirky with lime green and orchre tiles.
Ours turned out to be a disability room, so on the positive side, this gave us a large en suite shower-room, but also clinical and oddly configured. We hadn't requested such a room, and no alternative seemed available. We know this because of another, more important issue: the room seemed to have been smoked in by a previous guest, and they were not able (or willing) to give us another room. Their response was to spray it with room deodoriser and to leave the room windows open (in the winter!) whilst we went to dinner: Not Ideal!

fantastic location, beautiful building, interior spaces were wide, airy, open, lovely internal gardens and courtyards, could open the windows and they had insect nets, room was big and easy to move around, bathroom was big, linens were good quality and bed was very comfortable, I moved here from another accommodation, only regret is I didn't come here in the first place, lovely food in the restaurant, gorgeous spa, I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone
while I was too early for check in there is no accommodation of assisting to make a room available earlier then the 3pm a little difficult to climb in and out of a bath for a shower

We had an amazing experience at this 5-star hotel in Arles. The highlight for us was definitely the stunning pool, beautifully maintained and perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring the city. We also enjoyed the spa services, which were incredibly relaxing. The breakfast was fresh and delicious, offering a good variety of options. Everything was clean and well taken care of, which really added to the comfort of our stay. A special mention goes to the staff, everyone was extremely kind and helpful throughout our stay. Their warm and professional attitude made us feel truly welcome.
Out room felt a bit too small for a 5-star hotel, and we did experience some issues with the bathroom, the shower caused water to spill out, partially flooding the floor each time. These were minor inconveniences, but worth mentioning.

The hotel truly is an eclectic mélange, a unique blend of history and character. Its name and exterior are Roman style, immediately setting a grand tone, and the interior is stylized by Christian Lacroix, adding another layer of artistic flair. The building itself was once an ancient Carmelite convent, making for a truly distinctive atmosphere. The staff was incredibly friendly, greeted us with flavored water at check-in, and included a tour of the property when taking us to our room. We appreciated the many nice touches, such as complimentary refreshments and snacks in the minibar, and 'calissons' on our pillows at turndown.
The pool area, while not quite matching the grandeur of the advertising photos, offered a pleasant spot for a refreshing dip. We appreciated the provided towel service, and it was still delightful to cool off before heading into town to visit nearby Arena, Theater and many spots painted by Van Gogh.

Great stay and staff couldn’t have been more helpful, we were here for a concert and spent 2 nights, its a real benefit having a pool in Arles as it can get very hot durning summer months so was nice to be able to come back in mid afternoon to chill out by the pool. Will stay here again as visit once a year for concerts and exhibitions in LUMA.
Swimming Pool and everything in walking distance !

The Hotel is very well situated in the centre of Arles. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good. The room was nice but a little dark - the staff did try their best to move us to another room but we had already unpacked. Valet parking was good value given the high cost of parking elsewhere.
Room a bit dark (Rm 122)

The room and decor (throughout the hotel) are extraordinary ... and extraordinarily imaginative--in the best possible ways. Cathedral ceiling, beautiful chandelier, and the bathroom has a large marble sunken tub. The pool area is lovely, and the water in the pool is the perfect temperature. Our room was exceptionally large with a comfortable bed, a sitting area and 2 TVs.

The location was perfect , easy walk to everything. We eat in the attached restaurant and this was wonderful , great menu for vegetarian and amazing low key service . The breakfast was sublime , everything you would expect in such a great hotel and the staff at breakfast were done if the best and most efficient gave never known . Very comfortable bed .
A tiny tiny quibble that the shower was in the bath which is quite old fashioned for a 5 star hotel but it really wasn’t a problem

Very interesting and beautiful property given the history of the building. Perfect location central. Very comfortable luxurious room and pool area was lovely especially after a day of walking in warm weather. The staff members were very kind and helpful.
Felt a little empty of people given the size of the property.

Fantastic location. Friendly and professional staff. Nice hotel where the renovation is in harmony with the old architecture.
I would prefer to have more various choices both at breakfast and in the minibar. The internet was not stable in our room.
