Breakfast was very tasty.

Parking is only for a cost at a public parking lot. You have to walk through several floors to get to the reception from the parking lot which is not a big tragedy but when you have luggage its definitely a nuisance. Also when I went to check the car after 9pm the hall from which you can go to the parking lot is already in night mode and to return back to the hotel you need to call the reception to open the entry doors (nobody took the phone) or you have to go outside and walk around the building where the parking lot is situated and go upstairs, again a nuisance when you have luggage. This would be nice to improve especially when there is an entry to a separate parking lot in the building of the hotel.

There was a fascinating breakfast, everything was delicious. The rooms were clean and big. In the rooms you could find anything. The otel had a system which is very beautiful. The staff knew English. We didn't face with any problems. And also you can ski in that hotel. There was a market, burger restaurant and pizza restaurant. You can find them at down of the slope.

But the hotel was in the arena which is little bit far from the city center. But there is a train station nearby so you can solve the transportation problem that way. You have to walk a slope to reach the hotel.

This was our first hotel in Norway, and it definitely set the bar high. The rooms were spotless and spacious, with a great bathroom and shower. Breakfast was amazing plenty of choice and a fantastic coffee machine (I love my morning latte!). The brand-new gym was well-equipped for a proper workout and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Definitely recommend this place.

If I had to mention one thing: the hotel is located on top of a small hill, so there’s a bit of a climb when walking back from the nearest restaurants, but nothing too serious.

Clean modern room. We had a view to the roof of the ski hall but OK. Excellent breakfast. Hotel is connected to an indoor skihall SNO.

Inproper information on parking. You have to drive some hundred meters down to get to the garage.Walking back to the hotel is tricky there is little information how to find the way up to the hotel lift. At the reception we did not get enough innstruction. First I was thought to be a busdriver and they wanted me to park at bus parking (??). Dont be surprised that on walking back you have to cross a ski repair (?) workshop.

The family room had a good size and we liked that we had a sleeping sofa instead of bunk beds for the children. The beds were very comfortable and overall good facilities in the room. The breakfast was one of the best we have had in Norway comparing with other accommodations.

The hotel is part of an indoor ski facility so obviously there are a lot of guests and also teenagers. One night we have had some issues with noise coming from the room across and some teenagers have also knocked on our door quite late when the children were sleeping (surely by mistake but still enough to disturb our rest). This was fixed quite fast by the hotel staff. Quite crowded at breakfast and we did not appreciate that a lot of teenagers were wearing pajamas pants and walking in socks or bare feet. We think is not very pleasant when you try to enjoy your breakfast.

Everything was so smooth and straightforward, given a little attention and patience. Breakfast was indeed as exceptional as it gets, they even run “ginger vitamin shots”. Mattresses were super comfy, and the gym was just right. There is an indoor ski slope just by the hotel! Five minute drive away is Lillestrøm train station with 10 min train trips to Oslo S (Central).

The way from parking to hotel is a bit lengthy; you can drop bags by the entrance though, to avoid long carrying.

We chose hotel Thon Snø mainly because competitive price including breakfast and we were satisfied. Not everything was perfect - we could not adjust the air conditioner/temperature in our room and there was only very small window which opened only a little, but it was ok. Breakfast was nice and rich but we would appreciate clearer labels of what was vegan. On the other hand, the room was clean, well-equipped, staff was nice and rooms sound-proof. Overall, we were happy with our choice and would choose this hotel again.

There was only one trash bin for restafval and no trash bins for sorted waste. This should be standard!

At the arrival did I realize this hotel is also an indoor ski resort, the parking can be a bit tricky, but once you get used to it you can still get in and get out in a breeze. The hotel is the largest among all hotels I have stayed on this trip, everything, the room, the bathroom, the lobby and the cafeteria are all very spacious. Service is excellent, we were greeted by staff at the cafeteria entrance in the morning when going for their breakfast. At the breakfast busy hours staff came frequently to take plates away and even asked to fill my coffee cup. I extended one night stay and was not able to find the same room type, and had to book for a room with one sofa bed and one full bed, when we returned to the room in the evening the beds were made ready. At just $100, the value is unbeatable. An excellent choice!

Great brand new hotel. Real 4 stars. Awesome breakfast. Comfortable beds. Coffee and tea in room. Friendly staff. Good for families.

Way from the parking is a bit long and easy to get lost. Electric car charging spots are available at the parking, however are not available for non Norwegian travellers (limitations of apcoa app). Closest charging station is CorcleK 15 min walk, as a workaround.
