The hotel is located a bit outside of the city centre but with the metro close by - 250m approx. - you are in town in a flash. The airport bus leaves also close by so no need to take a very expensive taxi. Very expensive like in 200 euro one way. The hotel reception is manned by very friendly and positive minded people who will go out of their way to inform you on what is going on in town. Breakfast in particular is something you should not shy away from. It is very good and all freshly made. The one that hit us was their ginger-hot pepper shots that really will wake you up and get you going. Rooms are spacious with a wonderful rainshower or if you prefer the regular handshower. Beds are a 10/10. So all in all little to complain about other than that we had miscalculated that over Easter many things are closed...

The weather was a bit on and off. But that is nothing the hotel can be held responsible for. They helped us cope with it by providing a large new umbrella.

The room was spotlessly clean and modern. I really liked the ability to cast content from my smartphone to the screen and how easy this was. There were plentiful options for breakfast, the rooftop bar was lovely and stylish and staff went out of their way to be warm and helpful. I was totally safe and comfortable here as a lone, female traveller.

It’s a 10 minute walk from the station, I found that many places were much more easily and quickly accessible by taxi, which is obviously an expensive option.

On a sunny day, it's a pleasant stroll, but during winter snowstorms, it might pose a challenge. Just something to keep in mind. Despite this minor inconvenience, I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel. The location is a little bit out of center.

Location was way better than I expected, as 2 different metro lines were within 7-8 minutes walk from the hotel. Nice and cozy rooms, great shower and one of the best hairdryer in the hotel I have ever had. Amazing breakfast full of different products and local touches.

Breakfast was till 10.30 one day, but already at 10.15 some products were finished and were not refilled (orange juice, salmon, butter etc.). Also, at 10.28 the kitchen staff said that the breakfast is finished, which in my opinion is not the correct approach, as everything should be available till the very end (in this case 10.30).

This hotel is VERY nice. But the friendlyness, helpfulness and attitude of the staff is what makes this hotel way better than any other hotel in Oslo in this price category. Don'y expect staff with fake smiles, which care more about their outer appearance than you. These are just ordinary people, but with are real, trustworthy dedication and effort to make your stay a very pleasant stay. And every one of them are just as dedicated. And you can immediately tell they love their job. You won't find a grumpy receptionist here. I travel a lot, and have stayed in most good hotels in Oslo. This and the hotel The Thief are by far the two best hotels in Oslo. But if you compare pricing, Radisson RED is 4X better than The Thief. And the food is even just as good here as at The Thief. There are not a lot of restaurant in the area, but there are some. I recommend downloading the Wolt app and have it ready before you arrive and eat in. The staff will for sure be asking you if they can give you plates and cutlery. Without exception the plates have even been warm. The beds here are very nice. No synthetic bedlinens that gives you static electric shock, and destroys electronics. If anyone at the hotel reads this: never ever fall for the trap of saving money on bad synthetic bed linens.

Breakfast was incredible. Rooms were clean and compact but had everything that was needed. Suitable for short stays. Staff were so nice and rooftop bar served some delicious cocktails

Little bit outside city centre but easy to get to the metro and bus to the airport almost at the door! We booked a double room but we're only able to get two single beds. Minor thing but would have been nice to get what we booked.

From Oslo central, Økern is just a few stops on the metro. This was convenient, as prices were not reflective of centre prices, and a lot less expensive. The hotel is very stylish with good fixtures and fittings. Everything is such good quality. Breakfast was vast, with many many options. Enjoyed my stay a lot!

The fan was a little bit loud, so just ensure this is off before you sleep.

- This isn't really connected to the hotel, but it would be good to keep in mind that if Ruter app doesn't work on your phone you have to buy tickets for the metro from the city center, because there aren't any kiosks that sell tickets close to the hotel and there are no ticket machines at Okern station (at least I couldn't find any).

Parking layout confusing .

The room had everything that a traveler needs. Not many European hotels include an iron. This one does and it is super helpful. The breakfast was amazing. Staff is very friendly and can address any needs-just ask. Bus stop and metro station is very close.

The cleaning service was weird. Yes, the room was always clean, no complain there. But either the dirty cups were collected one day, then not collected another day. Or were not replaced. I am fine with cleaning the cups myself (to be honest, I was in a hurry so I left them dirty and planned to clean when I return). So the lack of consistency confused me. This is a minor comment- overall this is a great hotel.
