I informed them of my arrival time. Everything was in order. I was able to get to my room, drop my things, and get to my next engagement in record time. The staff were welcoming and informative. It also approximately 20 minutes away from the Central Train Station (Oslo S) which is very convenient when coming from the airport or international rail. The directions they sent to me to find them from Oslo S was perfect. If you have GPS, I encourage you to use it b/c the road turns and you don't want to potentially get lost. I liked that towels come with the room reservation as well as one for the bathroom floor. Every 4 days you can get a new towel. Before my arrival, I was involved in an accident. I informed the hostel, and they were able to confirm for me a lower bunk space.

I wish the individual rooms had lockable storage. Because it did not, luggage is left out in the open in the room. There is also no place in the room to lock your computer. There is a small storage area at the reception desk, but the hours are from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. I also wish there was laundry within the building. There is one approximately 15 minutes away from the hostel. The internet at the Reception Desk is great. If you want to use it in the rooms, it is not strong. For almost $40US, the room is pricey but it's typical for the area.

Minimalistic style, convenient location, close to the tram stop, and the train station.

It seems that the shelter is located behind the hostel, and there are many homeless and drug addictive people staying around. It was uncomfortable to go outside with children. Even the police cars being beside the buildings constantly didn't help to feel safe.

Good value. There is a small locker on site (bring your own lock), and the room has a small kitchnette (you can rent utensils for 200 NOK deposit). Has coffee onsite, and isn't too too busy. Front desk staff is friendly (Mira was super nice and gave me tips for the city). Really fun international crowd. The location is right on the tram, and easy to get around. Not far from bars etc.

The locker is very small, and the locker latch is a bit weird, so I had to buy another lock that fit. Didn't get all sheets on arrival. There isn't a lot of food options nearby, There is no in-house laundromat, so the only option is to go to Clean Kokos, which is extremely expensive and time consuming.

Streamlined and simple hostel facilities. Great location near lots of trendy bars and restaurants. Several trams pass by the door every few minutes, with a five minute ride to the train station and museums. We took a private double room with private bathroom (shower). We pushed the two beds together. We picked up our sheets and towels from a cart near the reception so we knew they were freshly laundered. On checkout we put them on the used laundry cart. Nicely efficient and reassuringly clean.

In spite of the double windows we could clearly hear the trams since our room faced the street.

Kitchen cookingwares taken against 200 deposit but not yet refunded. All formalities were done satisfactory.

Deposit should be refunded and processed instantaneously. Delayed refund process is not at all good.

Spontaneous early check-in was possible. The single room had two twin beds, a wardrobe and a small kitchen. Kitchenware can be taken from the reception in exchange of a 200NOK deposit which will be refunded at check-out. The location is both, good and bad: it's in walking distance to the city center, there are shops and cafes around. There is an area between the Train Station and the Hostel, around the Kiwi Supermarket that is pretty shady, there are lots of homeless people roaming around, some might not find it safe. Alternatively, the walking trail along the Akerselva River or Torgata are super nice

The hostel is quite close to the train station but in a sketchy neighbourhood. However, there are security guards around the area and therefore that was no problem. The shared bathroom was cleaned daily. The beds are just put in the room, there was no socket at every bed and also no lockers available in the room. In the women-only floor, they emptied on room for a common area, which was very pleasent. However, I could imagine that it is quite uncomfortable if people are cooking in the same room where everyone is sleeping, also quite noisy when people are eating breakfast I heard.

Felt very unpersonal, small common area. Lots of people did not use the linens correctly.

The scenery is great, and the location is great

Without shampoo and shower gel, we have to buy it ourselves.

I liked that it was clean, quiet, I got a good night sleep being a bad sleeper. The staff was friendly and helpful and the whole operation was well organized. The location is as good as it gets in Oslo. What I found not very optimal is having a kitchen and toilet with shower in the bunk bed room, where one person might need to wake up early to catch the early flight and another one might be trying to sleep after partying all night. At the end everyone was super-polite in my room moving around in darkness with the light from the phone and not even using that kitchen a single time.

The best location, with a tram line at the front door and only two stops from the central train station, which is also near the bus station. The hostel sent good instructions about which trams to catch (there were 4 lines passing the front door). Oslo has excellent public transport so we used the trams all the time, but we could also walk to the river (beautiful stroll) and places to eat (including Oslo Street Food). Staff spoke English and were very helpful. Comfortable beds and spacious room, a large cupboard, and table and 2 chairs. The adequate kitchenette had two hotplates, everything worked. Great to have a small fridge and freezer. All very clean.

Bathroom floor was very wet after shower, even with the curtain. There was a rubber wiper to help push the water down the plug hole (a useful tool they provided), but I advise you to go into the bathroom in bare feet so you don't soak your socks. No laundry on site, however there was a good laundromat only 2 tram stops away.
