The room i got was lovely. Private bathroom with shower and heated floor and a window that can be opened. Hair dryer. Room was spacious enough, a lot of place to hang up clothes. A table, small fridge, water boiler, TV, comfy bed, pleasant design and atmosphere, view outside - nice.

Was quite hard to move around the territory with a heavy luggage, since the paths and roads were icy and slippery. Would have appreciated if they cleaned or put real sand on the path to the reception and around the territory. The breakfast was ok, but i would have preferred more warm foods available. Like fried eggs with bacon would have been nice. I got a feeling that the receptionist didn't like me from the beginning. Didn't see a good reason for that. The checkout is too early in my opinion. I had to pay 150, just to get to check out at 12.00.

My stay was excellent. Although I traveled for work, I was able to relax and enjoy myself thanks to the spectacular surroundings of the property. The buffet breakfasts were delicious and varied, the staff was incredibly friendly, and I especially want to highlight the cleaning ladies always charming and full of positive energy. The location and the environment are unbeatable; they made work feel lighter and allowed me to enjoy the trip even more. Without a doubt, I’ll stay at the same place on my next trip to Oslo.

Honestly, everything was excellent for me, as I felt like I was in a place completely different from what I expected.

The breakfast selection was great, gets replenished often.. Very helpful and friendly hostel and kitchen staff. The shower, toilet, bedroom were very clean. Sheets and very clean towels are included. We booked a shared room but we got lucky to have the room for ourselves. Location is great for people travelling to Oslo on cars as there's ample parking. Love the greenery. It is very clean and green space.

You can hear other hostel residents door banging when they close their doors. It goes on until 11pm. It is about 15min walk to tram but 7 minute walk to bus stop and a further 15-20 trip to centre but it is still cheaper than anywhere else in Oslo.

The location is great: many public transport stops nearby! And it is also quite near the surrounding nature. The hostel is nice and it has a lovely front yard with an eating area. The public kitchen had enough space and equipment for making my own food. The breakfast was very good for the price: there was plenty of different foods to choose from and everything tasted good! The hostel was clean and there were no loud customers at the same time.

The room was quite small for 6 people. Luckily there were only 5 of us at the same time. It was also quite warm in the room, but it was good that we could keep the window open when sleeping so the temperature was ok during the night.

Well appointed kitchen; complimentary breakfast with varied offering including my personal favourite: hot porridge, and good bread. I visited at the end of January and, the hostel is warm throughout, and exceptionally clean. I stayed in a twin room last year which was terrific. This year I booked a dorm which was very good too: beds were comfortable and, there was adequate space. Reception staff were helpful when I needed advice on where to start the Askerselva river walk. Hostel is well located at around 10 minutes walk from the nearest tram stop and, then around 30 minutes by tram to Oslo Sentrum.

If you're looking for the perfect place to stay that combines coziness, great service, and incredible food, stop your search—this hostel exceeded all my expectations! But the biggest surprise for me was the breakfast - so delicious, varied, and thoughtfully prepared that I felt like I was in a luxury hotel, not a hostel! They probably had more vegan and vegetarian options than I’ve seen in some five-star hotels! Besides the food, the hostel was clean, stylish, and had a super welcoming vibe, and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. If you want to experience attention to detail without paying crazy prices, this is the place! 10/10—I’ll definitely be back and will recommend it to everyone!

Great breakfast with a great variety that changes slightly every morning. Everything was fresh and yummy. Staff were very friendly and helpful, they even helped us order a pizza! Guest kitchen was well equipped and clean Location was good for public transport connections as is the rest of the city really. The hostel location is quiet and felt safe for my family The room was as described and warm maybe a bit too warm but better than cold! We would definitely stay again!

The room was really hot and even turning the radiator to off it was hot, we kept opening the windows for a while to cool off but still better than being cold! The room had no ventilation either, it had an extractor above the shower ensuite but it wasn't working so had to keep opening the windows for ventilation Above 2 are minor problems The walls are a bit thin so Saturday night loud guests were keeping us up chatting and laughing but this wasn't the hostels fault Few faults in the room, one of the bed lights kept randomly turning on all night, had to unplug it, again minor problem, other problem was the toilet handle in the room was loose and ready to fall off but didn't Even with the above problems, we would definitely stay again!

Effort of the organizers is clear in every single aspect of this hostel: it's very clean, the staff are helpful and friendly, the rooms are furnished in the most comfortable way possible, there's a lovely lounge if you need space to work on your laptop, there's good breakfast included, there's a kitchen if you prefer to cook (I haven't used it during my short stay, but it's very important for me as an option). Other hostels can't seem to compete in this price range. What a great place.

If I absolutely HAVE TO say something negative - the hostel is not in the city center. It's pretty close to the metro, so you won't have issues getting to it from the train station quickly, but if you want to walk - it'll take you almost an hour.

The hostel was big but the kitchen was also big! The breakfast was ok. The staff were really friendly and our room was big and airy. It was nice having a sink in the room. Easy journey by local train into the centre. We found a lovely little walk 30 mins out from the back of the hostel which gave fantastic views of Oslo.

Bits of the hostel probably need upgrading, such as locks on some shower doors were broken and the kitchen could have been better equipped for the number of people using it. It was difficult to keep the kitchen clean, even tho we tried to!!

We had a nice new room. We were also allowed to park the car at the hotel parking earlier than check in.

It wasn't written anywhere in the booking that we will have to share balcony with the other appartement. It was super hot in the room, the ventilation didn't work properly, so the only way to cool down was to keep open the door to the shared balcony as there were no other windows... The breakfast was fine, but could be better: the space to serve food was very small for such a big hotel, so it was overcrowded. Also the description of the food can be written better, as for both morning we stayed some food was signed incorrectly (chicken was written for beans with sausages fir example).
