The staff here were so lovely and helpful. They went out of there way to help me (such as showing me how to pre order a taxi and when I needed it for to ensure I didn't miss my train). I truly appreciated it. The room was a lot bigger than I was expecting and the heating was brilliant. I used the laundry and kitchen area in the basement and it was so clean and well lit, just brilliant. This hotel is walkable to all the attractions, but there are buses around if you need them.

It did not bother me too much but there is a lot of major roadworks happening which caused some confusion for my initial taxi driver and the one time I order food delivery (I would not recommend food delivery) there are supermarkets really close to the hotel and some brilliant restaurants and pubs.

Large, decently located hotel, just a few blocks from the center of town and the main station. I had a spacious room, with skylights, on an upper floor; everything was well-updated. There was complimentary coffee in the mornings, with food and drinks available for purchase at all hours. Staff were efficient and helpful, with one of them alerting me to the hotel's wonderful rooftop just in time for the summer twilight.

Central location, but the immediate environs are comparatively ugly, especially with massive construction underway half a block from the hotel.

The property is in a good location, about a 5-10 minute walk from the central train station. It’s very reasonably priced compared to other hotels in central Oslo. The room is quite spacious and clean and the wifi was fine. Excellent for a short stay in Oslo.

Although it is clear that no kettle is provided and perhaps this is represented in the price of the room it would certainly elevate the customer experience in place of having to buy hot beverages in the reception or elsewhere. My room on the 7th floor was located near the elevator and there was relatively poor soundproofing.

Comfort Hotel Xpress is located in a great location, just walking distance from the center. The hotel area is nice and safe. Close to rock / metal bars and restaurants. Fantastic choice for metal heads as myself. The room was with a good size and clean. I stayed in room 822, and the view was fantastic; loved that I could see Rockefeller concert hall from my window as I came to Oslo for a concert in there. Gym is small but has all the necessary equipment, nice area “hostel vibe “ in the B floor, they have a microwave, kettle and laundry machine available for use. Rooftop has a great view of the city, that space is only a view deck where you can go for a smoke. (I was expecting a bar area or something) Self check in was fast and easy.

A small closet would be great and a kettle in the room.

Super clean room ,it was like I was the first guest to stay there. The mattress was awesome ,sockets in convenient places, huge TV,convenient location 10 minute walk from the center

The room was super cold ,I waited for an hour just in case it was my idea, but since it wasn't getting warmer, I went to the reception . They told me it's supposed to do that and I should wait for more hours ,which makes no sense. I actually did, and nothing happened. So they eventually gave me another room with functioning heating. The problem was solved, and it wasn't a major one , i only had half a day to spend in this city, though, and losing 3 hours to get a proper temperature was a bit weird. The staff was friendly though and I'm sure it won't happen again. Everything else was great . Oh , and apps in the TV would be extremely helpful for a solo traveler, Netflix, or YouTube casting could help for relaxation before sleeping :)

loved this hotel, definitely a bit of a walk (10 to 15 mins depending on your speed) from the main station but it was worth it for the price and the room. the room was HUGE, the bed was so comfy I passed out, and the bathroom was massive and well decorated and functioned. the staff were so helpful and lovely too. there's also the street food hall round the corner which has some delicious options!

there was construction going on when i went around the hotel with the area which meant some routes and roads were closed so maybe a heads up on that. other than it being a little further away it was great.

The hotel was a 10-15 minute walk from the central station, we managed to walk most places, not out to Flam museum or up to ski museum, but most other sites so great location. Unfortunately there was some major road works going on on the weekdays from early until very late, which was a bit annoying but not the hotels fault. The staff were great, one of our group used the gym, the large gathering and relaxation area downstairs and area to leave luggage was great. There were also laundry facilities but we didn’t use these. We were 5 adults in the six bed (3 sets of bunks) room, the room also had a table that could seat us all. The cafe served good coffee and if you’re early enough, the cinnamon buns are delicious.

The road works. I would have liked a kettle in the room.

The location was pretty hip and had spaces for gathering. The rooftop was nice as well.

I was not informed of construction season going on, so I had to turn around and add extra time to get to the hotel because of closed roads. But that wasn't too bad. There was a large group checking in before me, so it took awhile. But the part that wasn't that great was that the pair before me had some sort of issue and were going back and forth with the receptionist for quite awhile. It was in a different language so I did not know what was going on. And there was no acknowledgement that I was waiting or apology. I suppose I was accustomed to a different kind of customer service from a different country. And then when it got to me, my checkin was about 1 minute-I was told my room number and given my key. There was no information about wifi, introduction to the amenities, etc.

The hotel is located a short walk from the main city centre and is really close to everything. We paid a little bit extra to check in early as we had our bags and the room was just what we wanted. The bedroom was small and basic but it was just a place to sleep. It was also very warm. The bathroom had underfloor heating which was great. There is coffee, milk and hot water in reception where you can help yourself and a variety of things to purchase for breakfast. All of the staff were friendly and helpful, and the WiFi was strong. I'd definitely stay here again.

Great location, not far from the centre and train station. Lot of restaurants nearby too. You can self checkin at the desk on arrival. Very quick and easy service. Room was a bit difficult to find we had to ask as there are 2 "wings" if the building. But the room itself was nice, small but perfect for our stay (1 night). Had tv, hair dryer, hangers, towels, ac and big window looking into a small enclosed courtyard (?). There was aslo toiletries provided. The bed was comfortable but we had to ask for extra pillows as the ones we had were too thin for us. The room was very silent during the stay no noise was heard. We didn't use the gym or the cafe/bar but we went to the rooftop terrace. Very cool!

There was no mat for the shower. Apart from this, nothing really was wrong, it's a good stay for a night. If I was staying for longer I would have looked for something with more space but it was great for us. There isn't breakfast amenities in the rooms because they have a cafè downstairs.
