Staff communicating only the relevant information is key, plus they were kind.

It was difficult to find the heater, and when I did, it was an other challenge to find the switch on the side…. It is not something I did not like, it was my tiredness after a long travel, and I was exhausted and cold. It would have been just a nice addition from the staff to switch on the heater and then leave a message where to find the heater and how to switch it on.

I liked everything in this hotel. Big rooms. Well located right in the city center , metro station 2 min walking from hotel. The breakfast was excellent, plenty of food to choose. Friendly staff.

There was a misunderstanding about the cleaning. You have to book when you want your room to be cleaned. We discussed this with the receptionist the first day but apparently it wasn't booked in the sistem or something happened but we solved this issue.

Breakfast was great, wide and varied selection. The room was spacious enough for a single night.

The bacon was unfortunately dry, like beef jerky, rather than crispy. Had quite the queue for juice/milk/coffee. The bed felt a bit like it was slanting, and there was a massive difference in the pillows. Mine was thicker, but very lumpy. My partners pillow was thin and offered no support.

A good hotel with excellent non-intrusive service and an excellent location. It is located in the center, within walking distance of many attractions, which is very convenient. Excellent hearty buffet breakfasts. You can find everything: cheese, ham, salmon, Norwegian cheese, coffee, juice, porridge, bacon, fruits, vegetables, yogurt. They offered check-in 2 hours earlier, which was a huge plus after the journey. It was no problem to leave things in the guest room on the day of arrival and departure, which allowed us to enjoy the city a little more

For me there was only one minus - the size of the room. But this did not affect the overall impression.

The staff was always very helpful, the breakfast was always decent, I also left my passport in the room after I had checked out I phoned a couple of hours after I left and the staff went up to the room and found it so thank-you

I found the restaurant in the morning and was always very busy and found finding a table to sit at as I was alone difficult. But other than that, I found most things good.

Excellent gluten free options available. Breakfast had a large selection of various foods daily. The hotel was family friendly and the location could not have been better. Simple short walk from Oslo Central Station and to the palace, Aker Brygge and more. The availability of a travel cot for our 1 year old daughter was excellent and the option to store luggage on check out while waiting for our flight home was wonderful.

The air conditioning did not work particularly well and the daily room cleaning was no more than a simple remake of the bed - bins were not emptied and the surfaces were not cleaned down - aside from this there are no complaints.

Location is great, it's in the city center, in the middle of everything, at the same time on a small quiet street. Breakfast is top class, choice is very rich (there is no champagne, however :) ). Beds are comfortable, rooms are clean. Clean and pure Nordic design.

Very minor remarks, which do not ruin the overall superb experience: the size of the room is minimum, to satisfy the basic needs (but if you spend most of the day outside acquainting with the city, that's totally fine :) ). The interior is somewhat worn out, but nothing drastic, everything is clean and taken care of.

Located right off Karl Johan Gate main shopping road but in a quiet side street. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet was fabulous with so many choices and a really relaxed vibe. Bathroom was great and room service was done each day while we were out. Close to public transport, restaurants and parks. Opposite parliament building.

Room was fine but no aircon that you could adjust. Stuffy at night. Needed a chair in the room and ideally room to move around the bed.

I have to qualify this because I am an American. The rooms and restrooms are very small. I realize they are the norm in Norway though so I don't think my complaint regarding size carries much merit.

Staff was trully wonderfull, really friendly and open for our requests. It was just a bit sad they didn't inform we had coffee for free a the hall, but everything we asked for (small things) was provided with a very friendly smile, even with our messing children walking around :). The location was also excellent and 10min walking from the train station.

The room was a bit small, but matched with the price range of the region. It really didn't had a space for you to leave your cloths for example, very few rangers and no wardrobe at all.
