The room was really comfortable and slept really well. Very clean and nice facilities. The gym was also spacious and clean. Breakfast was nice with lots of options to choose from. The location was great too - everywhere was in walking distance and close to the National Theatre train station.

The view from the room looked straight into offices which felt a bit jarring. The view is also above the breakfast space inside a conservatory which limits the amount of daylight coming into the room.

The breakfast was excellent, with an extensive selection of hot and cold food. I got the impression that this is the standard in Norway. If only other hotels around the world could provide this sort of service. The bed was very comfortable. Very friendly staff. Great location.

The room was a bit small. I really don't like having two single duvets on a double bed. Unfortunately the building next door is undergoing construction work which means that a jack hammer starts up at exactly 8am. The restaurant is only available for breakfast.

We like the location - in the middle of the city, walking distance to the tourist area, and the train station. The breakfast at the hotel was delicious with lots of choices of food. The room was clean and comfortable. The window looked out onto the inside of the hotel and from it you could see the breakfast area below.

The washroom was quite small. The shower floor was inclined so it was difficult for water to flow in the drain, and thus the water stayed on the the floor like a puddle.

This hotel shines in the breakfast room! Initially you think that the selection is limited, as the place is rather small. But if you look closely, there are excellent options, like organic butter, home made marmalades, smoothies with fruit juice, small fish treats in small jars to name few, that make your day. We did enjoy the breakfast!

The entrance lobby is very small. If you want to spend some time there, you have to reconsider. Also one has to assess the transportation means, as there is an issue to walk to the train station with a suitcase.

The staff were just the standout. So helpful and they were very welcoming. Thank you all. The room was large with a great view over towards the Parliament, and the location is close to the main shopping street, metro, and waterfront area. The breakfast is superb. We also received vouchers for a light buffet dinner each night (apart from Sundays) which was a lovely addition.

The only slight negative was that the door to the room only locked (electronically) after about 45+ seconds. This could turn into a security issue (although it fine for us once we realised what was happening).

The breakfast was very good. The room is very nice and roomy, but the bed is a bit soft. The location is very good, near City Hall, the Fortress, and tram lines. Many major attractions are also within walking distances.

A firmer bed would be nice; but it's still OK to have a good night's sleep. It's expensive just as most things in Oslo. The fitness center/gym is not on premise and had to go to another hotel.

I don't think there is any other hotel in Europe or for that matter anywhere else in the world that serves caviar at the breakfast buffet..my favourite pickled herring was also available and the organic butter was so tasty! Breakfast hosts George Favali and Oluwambe were just spectacular.... Room was spacious... Location is 5 star next to Parliament and Karl Johann shopping street and near to the jetty for a quick fjord boat tour...

Many reviewers commended about the erratic hot water supply-had the same experience as well-shame since everything else was really 5 star...

I liked the breakfast very much and the helpful personnel there. I also liked the underfloor heating in the shower room, the ironing equipment, and the modern safe. The bed was nice and firm and very comfortable. I had a very good view from my room, and saw lots of activity during National Day, 17th May. The central location of the hotel was greatly appreciated.

Great, central location, lovely sized room with excellent decor. Wood floors which was fantastic and felt really clean. Bathrobes for everyone in the room. Super breakfast options and the staff were wonderful, very helpful and friendly.

We had to take 2 elevators and cross the hotel to get to our room, this was no problem but might not be a good option for some one with mobility concerns. Not really a negative just good to know.
