Jo on reception was extremely helpful he gave us a free upgrade without even battering an eye lid. He informed us that new owners will be taking over but tbh the hotel was lovely and cozy. So warm as is was snowing outside. Jo was so kind also we had a really good chat with him and he made us feel so welcome. We wish him all the best in the future. We would definitely recommend this hotel as it so central the everything you need. The only bad point about olso is it’s so expensive but if you don’t mind then I would definitely give it a go. Thanks again

Nothing at all we enjoyed the stay 100%

The bedroom and attached private bathroom were both clean. The bed was comfortable with power outlets near by for charging electronic devices. The WiFi was very fast. The included breakfast offered a large variety of food to select from the buffet and everything tasted delicious. The location of the hotel was only about a 5-10 minute walk from opera house.

The room was on the small side, but that seems to be typical for this region. The only thing that I didn't like was that there was construction directly across the street, which would normally be fine, except there was a lot of noise even at 2:00am.

Location and breakfast brilliant. I came by train and it's a simple 5 minute walk from the station.

Strangely I bruised my leg each time I got on the bed! The problem is that the mattress sits inside the wooden bed casing rather than partially above it, like is normal. So the wood was in my way when the comfy mattress sank as I put my weight on it!

Location is excellent, just a few minutes walk from the main station and a great base for visiting the city. Lots of choice for breakfast. Staff very helpful.

The hotel did warn that building work was taking place opposite the hotel, so I was forewarned. If you are not intending to be in your room during the day, this is not a problem. I was out and about so it didn't matter to me. But if you are hoping for a quiet place to work, then take their warning seriously!

Small, cosy hotel in a great location. Friendly staff, clean & modern rooms, fully equipped and very nice breakfast.

Soundproof. It is terrible. Actually, it does not exist. And I am not referring to the construction noise coming from the front of the hotel, which obviously is not hotel's fault; although informing prospective customers before booking would be a more honest behaviour. I am referring to the fact that you can hear everything in the next rooms which is really annoying.

The room was a good size. The bed was comfortable. Very good central location. Staff were friendly and helpful.

The breakfast was nice, I know vegan options can be difficult, but just having some vegan milk for guests or a few more vegan options would be great. Also the shower was great but the space wasn't good and I'm a slim build.

Centrally located hotel, close to the train station. Room was small, but comfy and clean. The management's notification about a nearby construction site was thoughtful, but unnecessary: despite the construction site and the central location, the night was very quiet. Great value, altogether!

Location of hotel. Nice breakfast. Nice sized room; not cramped. Pleasant staff.

The lighting in the dining room, for breakfast, is exceptionally dim. The bathroom door in our room was difficult to keep shut, kept popping open. Also, the door opened in to the bathroom and could not be opened fully as it hit the sink. I would have liked to have know about the construction all around. We had no noise issues in our room, to be clear, just would have liked to known....was just a bit tricky to recognize the hotel upon our initial arrival.

The staff was extremely friendly, breakfast was varied and good, the location is perfect to explore the city walking around. The room and bathroom were modern and functional.

The room was very small, but had everything one needs for a short stay.

Breakfast was really excellent, as was the location . Room very good and staff very friendly helpfuland efficient . We would happily stay again when in Oslo.
