Absolutely loved the stay in the middle of oslo, very easily walkable to arkershus fortress, john carl gate, royal palace and groceries and restaurants. National theatre station is 5-6 minutes walk and the central oslo station is about 10 minutes walk, the local tram station is just 2 minutes walk away. The hotel is situated in a beautiful part of oslo central and is a perfect place to explore the city and beyond. The rooms are simple but comfortable and we had a good night sleep throughout our stay

The hotel didn't have a laundry which we needed and extra toilet amenities would have been perfect.

I am VERY fussy!! But I really really liked this hotel. Staff were great. Breakfast was good, room was clean. And everywhere was accessible by foot. Very very central location. Was impressed.

The hotel is located in the city's centre, in the middle between Oslo Central and Oslo National Theatre train stations. There is a tram and bus station right next to the hotel and metro station 100m away so it/s in a perfect location. All the main things are within 10min walking distance so it/s the best spot for anyone wanting to be in the centre. Also worth mentioning is that despite being in the centre, the location is really quiet and there is not much traffic. The hotel staff were very friendly and helped also with the sightseeing planning and recommendations. Breakfast was really good with lots of choices. Despite being served from 6:30 until 10:00, there was still everything to choose from when I arrived late at 9:30. I highly recommend the hotel and would definitely stay there again.

The hotel has an excellent location - within walking distance of most sights, bars and restaurants. The room is a good size. It's clean.

The guy at the front desk was not friendly. On the contrary, he was quite pushy and rushed to get the payment before seating us, which is strange - it's like we won't pay ourselves. 3 times within 3 minutes he told me where to put my card and pay. Offensive attitude. After I paid, he explained to us that smoking is not allowed on the terrace!!! In fact, it is high time that Booking also provides such a search criterion - for smokers and non-smokers, and not for a person to have to look at hundreds of offers and, in the end, still not be able to smoke on the terrace.

This Asian look male staff at the breakfast is very rude. We were there at around 8am and the salmon was gone .. I asked him to get more .. he was hesitant but after awhile he brought out smoked trout in whole piece! I tried to cut a piece but it was too hard to cut so I took the whole piece .. had a bit .. too salty.. left there on the table. I also noticed that nobody else touched the rest of the fish. It’s very unthoughtful for him and your business to even bring out those salty, smoky fish knowing that all tourists were going to travel all day long (need to drink water all day long ?)

From check in to the time I left, the staff was helpful and friendly. From double checking room availability so I could check in early to the last early breakfast, they were great. Good location and a comfortable, if small, room that was fine for a single person. And best of all, unlike many hotels that say it but do not do it, they left my hanging towels hanging so I could use them again just as I wanted.

The pillows were a bit lumpy. And there were only two. I know I was a single guest, but I like to built a cocoon so I can put my arms in a good position as I sleep. Three or more high quality pillows would have been nice.

Location, the breakfast they offer is well worth the money. They offer a selection for everyone. Beds were comfortable room was good size. Have a great selections of restaurants a blocks walk. City center is a short 15 minute walk from hotel. Subway one block from away. Had easy access to get to or do whatever we wanted.

I received a email from hotel offering early check-in and breakfast. I opted for both. Upon arrival found that the room wasn't ready for early check-in. They did remove the charge but don't offer something you can't deliver.

The staff really made this stay enjoyable for me. Literally everyone I encountered, from the front desk to the breakfast area, were super kind and helpful. My toddler locked himself in the bathroom at one point and the front desk man was there in no time to help me. Everyone in the breakfast room was amazing, especially the woman from Poland (I'm sorry, I forgot everyone's name) who explained the brown cheese to me. Just so welcoming! Everyone was really friendly and I can't emphasize enough how delighted I am with the people in this hotel. Perfect location, comfortable room.

The rooms were a little small but that's to be expected for the location right downtown.

The location of the hotel was great for all the things we wanted to do. Public transport links were great and there were lots of lovely restaurants nearby. All the staff were so nice and helpful and their English was incredible, much better than our Norwegian.

The room was quite small, we could have paid more for a larger room but it was expensive enough as it was, and we planned to be out more than in! Our room didn’t get cleaned one day and we had to ask for some fresh towels but they were delivered to the room quite quickly.
