It was really cozy. And for me it was the first time, I wasn't disgusted to walk barefoot instead of wearing shoes. Finally a place to sleep without hideous carpeting! Although as a tourist I wasn't special in this place, this apartment made me feel that way. A hand-written postcard apologizing for the renovations in the building next door was a very simple but warm gesture. In addition, a small Norwegian chocolate made me feel the vibe of the place I was in from the first second. For the price, it's 11/10 worth it, as the location is also amazing. If I ever return to Oslo, then only to Bob W. The Instax idea is brilliant!

Difficult to enter on arrival as internet doesn't reach outside the door so, if you don't have a local SIM in your phone, access information cannot be accessed on devices unless someone lets you into the lobby

Amazing location. Self check in was easy and I could contact someone for help via WhatsApp and the person was very friendly and accommodating. The room was comfortable. Available washroom and gym! The bed was very comfortable. I loved my stay here and will come back.

The only downside was the construction across the street but the room was pretty quiet as long as the window was fully shut. They also offered earplugs if needed. This also left the view outside of the window less desirable and my window was right across from the constructions elevator so workmen could look inside my room but I just shut the curtain if needed.

We had a great stay at Bob W Sentralen. Everything went smoothly from check-in to check-out, and the location was absolutely perfect for exploring Oslo. The apartment was clean, modern, and surprisingly quiet given how central it is. The best part of our stay was the little thoughtful touches! The personalised welcome message made us feel immediately at home, and the towels were genuinely some of the softest and most luxurious we’ve had in any hotel. It’s clear that attention to detail matters here, and it really added to the comfort of our stay.

We did have one small scare late one evening when the door wouldn’t open despite trying a few times. After closing and reopening the website, it finally worked — a bit frustrating in the moment, but it resolved quickly.

Nice central location and very easy to find and access. Average sized single room which made good use of the space, was very tidy and well maintained. I loved the pin board with all the stuff on it - that was a nice touch. Very close to both Central Stasjon and rhe ferry terminal, and most things in the city are easily within walking (or tram) distance. I was a tad worried about the keyless relying on my phone, entry but access to the wifi once you arrive made things more comfortable. The washateria was extremely helpful, I can't overstate how nice it was to have access to a washing machine (AND dryer) while travelling.

Immaculately clean, personal touches (chocolate bar, handwritten note), little convenient extras like phone charger/tote bag, environmental emphasis. Luggage room. Great central locatio, but quiet. Comfy and cosy room.

Code to enter building didn't work on the one occasion I needed to use it (2.30 am). On previous occasions, I'd coincidentally been entering the building as someone else left. Phoned number provided on hotel door. Recorded message saying can only be contacted during early hours in event of emergency. But no number provided. Another guest let me in after 20 mins or so. Then Bob W phoned me. Info stated there was an iron and ironing board. There wasn't. No rest room/toilet in foyer to use once you've checked out and are collecting your bags from luggage room.

Amazing location and easy to find, less than 5 minutes from the train station. Communication with the property was unmatched - whenever we needed anything we had a 100% response rate. Clean and tidy, nice size rooms, big bathroom. All the personalised extras made the stay feel special. The luggage room was such a help and being able to use it free of charge after checkout was great, not many properties allow this so this was refreshing. Would definitely recommend staying here, we would come back and are also looking at other Bob W locations across Europe to stay in again as this stay was brilliant.

Bob’s property is superbly located right in the centre of the city, within half a block of Carl Johan’s Gate and in easy walking distance of most sights and activities. Trams are easily accessible and the apartments are a 10 minute walk from the central bus and train stations. The property is clean and comfortable, the upper floors accessed by lift. The apartment had modern decor and lots of thoughtful touches such as coffee, chocolate, breakfast suggestions, adaptors etc. The staff were very responsive, with all communication being online. The door codes were also delivered online and this all went seemlessly.

The only negatives in my experience were things out of Bob’s control. On one side is a building site. The workers started around 7am until 7pm. There is the option to move to a different apartment on another side of the block if the noise is too much. Street noise on the weekend was also quite loud.

It was within walking distance of the central station, also pretty close to most of the central landmarks. Upon arrival, we met one of the staff members and she was really helpful and nice! The instructions on how to get to the place were clear and easy to follow, everything happens with your mobile phone, so you need to make sure to have an internet connection. There was a grocery shop nearby as well. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. Overall, it was a great stay!

The walls are quite thin, so you can hear people coming in and out of their rooms, as well as walking.

Probably the best location you could ever find in Oslo. Easy check-in process, comfortable bed, good heating, fast communication, good Wi-Fi. Keyless smart system is nice. They were quick to respond to our problems and try their best.

On our first night our next room neighbors were throwing a party. They did not stop talking really loud, playing music, smoking weed, knocking on our door (confusing their room with ours due to being drunk/high. It was a nightmare. I believe they took advantage of the “staff-less” system that Bob uses because there were at least 5-6 people in that room. Luckily, this did not reoccur and they tried to compensate us for it which we appreciate.
