It was really cozy. And for me it was the first time, I wasn't disgusted to walk barefoot instead of wearing shoes. Finally a place to sleep without hideous carpeting! Although as a tourist I wasn't special in this place, this apartment made me feel that way. A hand-written postcard apologizing for the renovations in the building next door was a very simple but warm gesture. In addition, a small Norwegian chocolate made me feel the vibe of the place I was in from the first second. For the price, it's 11/10 worth it, as the location is also amazing. If I ever return to Oslo, then only to Bob W. The Instax idea is brilliant!

Difficult to enter on arrival as internet doesn't reach outside the door so, if you don't have a local SIM in your phone, access information cannot be accessed on devices unless someone lets you into the lobby

We had a great stay at Bob W Sentralen. Everything went smoothly from check-in to check-out, and the location was absolutely perfect for exploring Oslo. The apartment was clean, modern, and surprisingly quiet given how central it is. The best part of our stay was the little thoughtful touches! The personalised welcome message made us feel immediately at home, and the towels were genuinely some of the softest and most luxurious we’ve had in any hotel. It’s clear that attention to detail matters here, and it really added to the comfort of our stay.

We did have one small scare late one evening when the door wouldn’t open despite trying a few times. After closing and reopening the website, it finally worked — a bit frustrating in the moment, but it resolved quickly.

Amazing location. Self check in was easy and I could contact someone for help via WhatsApp and the person was very friendly and accommodating. The room was comfortable. Available washroom and gym! The bed was very comfortable. I loved my stay here and will come back.

The only downside was the construction across the street but the room was pretty quiet as long as the window was fully shut. They also offered earplugs if needed. This also left the view outside of the window less desirable and my window was right across from the constructions elevator so workmen could look inside my room but I just shut the curtain if needed.

Nice central location and very easy to find and access. Average sized single room which made good use of the space, was very tidy and well maintained. I loved the pin board with all the stuff on it - that was a nice touch. Very close to both Central Stasjon and rhe ferry terminal, and most things in the city are easily within walking (or tram) distance. I was a tad worried about the keyless relying on my phone, entry but access to the wifi once you arrive made things more comfortable. The washateria was extremely helpful, I can't overstate how nice it was to have access to a washing machine (AND dryer) while travelling.

It's a hotel run by a bot! Despite my initial concerns about this our stay went without a hitch and the rooms were clean, very well equipped and had some lovely extra touches. Convenient location. Would return!

A bit disconcerting not having any staff on site but the bot replied quickly to any questions. The bedroom doors shut quickly and lock immediately so you must have your phone on you with your QR opening code. Worrying if yr phone has no charge. My teenage daughter loved the tech element of this and not having to converse with humans! No food or drinks for sale here but it's well located to shops and restaurants.

Amazing location and easy to find, less than 5 minutes from the train station. Communication with the property was unmatched - whenever we needed anything we had a 100% response rate. Clean and tidy, nice size rooms, big bathroom. All the personalised extras made the stay feel special. The luggage room was such a help and being able to use it free of charge after checkout was great, not many properties allow this so this was refreshing. Would definitely recommend staying here, we would come back and are also looking at other Bob W locations across Europe to stay in again as this stay was brilliant.

Great stay at Bob W. This hit all the marks for a three star hotel and exceeded them. Make great use of current technology and communications. No reception and all check-in and entry is done on your phone (you can use an app but I just stuck with my mobile browser). With the mobile browser I had to refresh the page after going out to open the room door but this seems appropriate to me to have a "time out" on that functionality. The room was and hotel was clean. The bathroom did have some signs of age but everything functioned fine. One note is there was sometimes a smell, not bad or good, after a long shower, but did not affect our stay and reminded me of older buildings I've stayed at in the past. Communications were all done via WhatsApp. We had a small issue and there was a near immediate response and it was taken care of, and they left us a bottle of apple cider as a gift afterwards (side note: the apple juice/cider in Norway is so good, reminds me of apple cider we bought directly from a farm when I was a kid). Can not say enough about how happy I am with how responsive the hotel is. I have been at many fully staffed hotels and this is better than most of those. We didn't use the laundry but it was a part of our reason for booking because children. But other reviews seem to be positive about the facilities. Other things in the room included free coffee and a french press, which I think is THE BEST way to make coffee in a room because you can easily look at the press and see it's clean/well maintained. Fridge was available, good storage to keep you luggage/clothes/etc out of the way. Free reusable water bottles with a note telling you the Oslo water is clean and drinkable. Instant camera, some stickers for the kids, lots of information, and I'm probably forgetting a few things. Lastly, location is right were the action is.

We loved the personal.service provided by the Bpb W staff / team. They were absolutely wonderful! They made sure our stay was nothing short of great. Attentive & caring.... customer service to the max. By the way, our apartment was perfect. We very much enjoyed our stay at Bob W. Oslo

The only complaint was street noise from people late at night / early morning. Bob W. Is close to the main walking corridor in downtown Oslo. The location of Bob W. Is incredibly convenient to everything in downtown Oslo, so noise is expected. We closed our window and noise was GONE. Bob W anticipated street noise and installed acoustically dampening windows. Hence, we had peaceful, quiet sleep.

It was within walking distance of the central station, also pretty close to most of the central landmarks. Upon arrival, we met one of the staff members and she was really helpful and nice! The instructions on how to get to the place were clear and easy to follow, everything happens with your mobile phone, so you need to make sure to have an internet connection. There was a grocery shop nearby as well. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. Overall, it was a great stay!

The walls are quite thin, so you can hear people coming in and out of their rooms, as well as walking.
