Big thanks to Colin – he was very kind and helpful. Honestly, he’s the only friendly person in this hostel.

I was told I could stay until 4:00 PM for 200 Kr, but I was kicked out at 1:00 PM while it was raining outside. If I had known this in advance, I wouldn’t have stayed here. I’m really disappointed. It feels like this hostel only cares about money. Of course, they didn’t return my Kr — but the worst part is promising something and then going back on their word. That was really low.

- We asked extra pillow from the reception, and was promised it. Pillow never arrived. - We were here 3 days & nights. The room wasn't cleaned during this time. I don't need the bed to be made and I definitely don't want new towels every day, but it would be really nice, if the bin was emptied on daily basis.

Great location in the city centre, very walkable. Comfortable beds with privacy curtain. Extra rail for hanging in the bed was a great addition - only other extra that would've been nice would be a shelf! Shared bathroom within the dorm, which was nice and quiet for a 12 bed dorm. Towels included! Very clean and tidy. 24/7 reception with cafe to relax in at any time (even late night / early morning) and friendly, accomodating staff.

Free luggage store (which was great), but often overfilled so door was open and some bags were in the cafe itself - not a big issue as the reception is staffed 24/7, but consider bringing bag locks if needing to store your luggage!

K7 hotel & hostel was brilliant. I arrived early and left my luggage and was able to explore the city. I returned for check-in at 3pm and my request for a lower bunk was accommodated. Upon arrival to my room (I’d booked a 6 bed dorm, the room was roasting hot like an oven. There were a couple of fans in the room but the sun was shining directly on the room and so it was just blowing hot air around. I went down to reception and asked if there was any way I could be moved to another room. The reception team were SO friendly and accommodating and moved me to one of the newer rooms which had air conditioning, it was a 14 bed dorm I believe but the room was massive and the beds were well appointed and laid out. Really modern, has clearly been done up recently. I actually ended up being on a top bunk but it was amazing - LED lights, plug socket near the bed and I somehow ended up with a “double” bed! (Room 201 - Bed M). It was the comfiest hostel bed I’ve ever stayed in - felt like I had my own private penthouse! Towels were included which is always nice, and I never once had to wait for the bathroom/shower (there were three in the room!). Giant lockers (which you need your own padlock for). Shared kitchen was small, but clean tidy and did the job! Really appreciate the kind and helpful staff sorting this initial issue for me, and all of the other staff i came into contact with were all super helpful and friendly.

The hot room i was initially placed in but this was resolved as I’ve indicated above. Also price for a hostel is high but it’s Norway so to be expected!

The hotel was clean with a small reception area/cafe at the entrance. (The cafe offered only basic prepackaged food and drink options.) Reception was staffed at all times and check-in and check-out were easy. The family room for four was a bit larger than some others of the same type in other cities we have visited. Windows could be opened and the area was generally quiet (a group of strolling drunks was a notable exception one night). The location was quite good, about a ten-minute walk from the train station and about five minutes to the quay area and Akershus fortress/city hall area in the other direction.

No complaints.

I like the guests I stayed with. They are super lovely people. And also the reception area, which is nice. Good location with very good price.

The number of toilet & shower is so little compare to the number of guests staying at that floor. I wish they can improve the number of the toilet & shower.

My stay at this hostel was absolutely perfect! From the moment I’ve arrived, I felt welcomed and at home. The location is ideal – central, convenient, and easy to get around. The hostel itself is clean, cozy, and very well maintained, offering a warm and comfortable atmosphere that made our trip even more enjoyable. A huge shoutout and heartfelt congratulations to Éneo and Collin – you two are amazing! Your friendliness, attentiveness, and positive energy made all the difference. You went above and beyond to ensure everyone felt happy and cared for, and it truly shows. Thanks again for an incredible stay – I will definitely be back!

No complains at all!

The hostal was better than expected. I slept in a 14-bed room and it was very spacious. The sockets were working and the locker was big enough to make fit my 20kg suitcase. Over my bed I found clean sheets and a pair of towels, excellent. The toilets and showers inside the room were decent and clean. The hostel has elevator. The location was perfect, less than 15 mins away by foot from the National Theatre. I arrived before my check-in time and they could store my luggage. They did the same for me for the check-out, as my flight was in the evening. Next to the storage room there is a very nice toilet to use before leaving.

I couldn't do the check-in until late in the night and the entrance door was closed, my phone with only 4% of battery. Nobody was there to see me from the inside and I had to knock on the glass and get the attention of guests inside. Once they opened the door for me, there was a woman at the reception who kindly did my check-in.

The location was great, very central, couldn't be better. The staff were fantastic, the man (possibly manager) was very friendly, professional, really helpful and welcoming, explained the directions of everything on a map, always so pleasant. The room was a good size for a dorm aswell, with a nice shower and big locker and another toilet in the hallway. Super crisp clean white sheets and 2 towels (unusual to get 2 towels in a hostel, so that was very nice) over all I would definitely recommend this accommodation. Lovely cafe with snacks etc at the reception, I didn't try anything, but it's definitely handy and everything looked nice and there was a place to leave your luggage. There is a whiskey bar & and an Irish bar right across the street. You are literally 5 min walk to the right takes you to the harbour (for fjords boat trip) and 5 min walk to the left takes you to the opera house.

The bedroom was so cold late at night (I think someone had the plug in fan on in October) and the bed was flat/hard.But for just 1 or 2 nights it would be fine. Also you have to make the bed, put sheets on mattress & duvet, thankfully I'd requested and recieved a bottom bunk. I've a back injury so this wasn't ideal, I'm the 100s of hostels I've stayed at I've only came across this one other time, so keep this in mind if you have injuries. Although, I'm really sure they would help you if you asked, as they were all really lovely. If you haven't any injuries it's a 1 minute job. But just thought I'd mention it.

Very friendly, helpful staff. Allocation of a lower bunk was much appreciated. Dormitory beds comfortable, clean, good bathroom, and generous sized locker (always remember to bring a padlock). Fellow travellers considerate and friendly. Being allowed to store luggage after check-in and check-out is most helpful. Location is close to bus and tram stops and the main train station as well as sightseeing. Thanks very much and hope to stay with you again.

Kitchen shared facilities good in principle but the microwave and oven evidently need to be cleaned more frequently.
