The room I stayed in was very recently updated and renovated. Very cosy and well decorated, really comfortable bed and an incredible waterfall showerhead in the bathroom. Breakfast options are very good - eggs cooked scrambled, fried, boiled or omelettes all available, plenty of cold meats, cheeses, fruits and cereals. Staff in the hotel are all very friendly and helpful and always attentive and engaging.

Even though the shower is excellent and is like standing under a waterfall, there is nothing to stop the water spraying everywhere in the bathroom, so it very quickly becomes covered in water. My only other issue is that the new part of the hotel (where I was staying) was obviously only just completed or still under completion. There is a VERY strong smell of paint fumes in the corridor and the room - a small detraction to staying in a great hotel (and clearly it won't smell that way for too long)!

I was staying at Deluxe King room, but it seems my room was at the cornered and lighting was somehow a bit dim. Comparing to my relative's room who was staying at the same type of room but on the upper floor. Otherwise everything was ok. Thank you

Location was excellent.

The arrangements for the bar. We tried to get a drink one night but there was no one serving at the bar. We waited 20 minutes but no one attended the bar. When I raised this with the hotel receptionist he said that the hotel didn't control the bar. He didn't do anything to resolve the situation. We then went to bed. An unsatisfactory situation.

Central, walking distance to great places. Close to public transport. Reception was very nice and helful, gave us great recommendations for places to visit and local vegan food places to try. The bedding was AMAZING, super soft and comfy, made it very hard to leave the bed and explore. Room was spacious and beautiful. Would absolutely stay again. Breakfast was included which was a nice treat.

Wish we stayed longer.

Nice location, in walking distance to most places I needed to visit during my stay. Service was really good, no issues with anything. Room was good, clean and overall a good experience.

Not much comes into mind, I was a bit frustrated that I could not get lunch at the hotel - but in fairness there were many places very close by.

Great location and absolutely charming atmosphere

The shower wasn’t separate from the toilet and sink, so the entire floor was wet and became a slip hazard. Wish we could have seen the area all decorated for Christmas!

I highly recommend Hotel Christiania Teater. It is very well located in the heart of the city. The rooms are comfortable, exceptionally clean and the beds are of a high quality. Breakfast is excellent. You surely feel more than welcome as the staff is especially nice and polite. Staying in Hotel Christiania theatre elevated my time in Oslo. It was worth every krona.

Breakfast: can order cappuccino ,latte… （by using La Marzocco) ,has Freshly squeezed orange juice, blueberry….very good evnvironment. Walking distance to Karl Johans & Aker Brygge. There is a funny machine near the hotel entrance that you can take photo,provide phone number and will send the photo to you.

Location was excellent & all staff we met were friendly & helpful. Tram, bus, & metro options close to hotel. And just a 15 min brisk walk to the main Oslo station & city centre. Breakfast was also very good.

May just reflect costs in Norway but felt price of hotel stay was high considering fairly ordinary room facilities.

The beakfast is very good - a wide choice of fruit, cereal, yoghurt, cold fish/meat and cooked items, plus breads and jams. Good location, easy to walk to a lot of places.

Could not see how to work the AC and the room was very warm. The room was not very large and the bed was not positioned in the best place.
