The selection at breakfast was above our expectation. They started the service at 630am which allowed us 1hour to enjoy the spread before leaving the hotel to catch our train at 825am. Special thank to the gentleman who made coffee for us using their complicated looking machine. The room may be small but adequate for the both of us. The room was clean and comfortable. The place was easy to get to from the airport, take the flytoget train to the opera theatre station. If the flytoget train only stops at the central station, just go to platform 2 or 3 to get on another train. We took the tram which is just besides the hotel to get to the central station in the morning. It is walkable of 30mins, but in winter, I will not recommend pulling the luggage for that long.

The hotel is located in a central location which means everything that all major tourist attractions are within walking distance—including the main train station. The room is of decent size, with a work table and a lounging chair provided. The breakfast buffet is the star of this hotel: a large variety of sweet and savoury dishes to choose from.

Not really a dislike but the rooms are not equipped with AC so if you’re going there in the summer, prepare to just open the windows or use the fan provided by the hotel. This is not the hotel‘s fault as Oslo had only seen summer temperatures climb to 28 degrees Celsius! There was a time when peak summer temperature was at 15 degrees.

The room was pretty comfortable although not spacious. Breakfast was very good with a wide range available. I thought the location was good despite not being central: there is a tram stop very close by, it is only a short walk to the royal palace and if you are coming to or from the airport, it is a few blocks from National Theatre train station (a stop for the fast airport train). The staff on reception were very good - helpful and cheerful.

Room was a little small for two adults each with a suitcase, given the price.

Great location! The room was comfortable but hot as there was no air conditioning. The breakfast was amazing and the breakfast staff was very efficient and friendly.

I had purchased a beer mug and it not there the morning I was to leave. The staff was less than helpful in finding - suggesting that I misplaced it, but I knew where it was before staff had cleaned my room. They offered no compensation. I assumed it was a mistake by the cleaning person but result was same that it didn’t come home with me.

Shower screen useless and soaked bathroom floor, don't understand why hotels dont have shower trays. Then they have the hairdryer in there so you have no choice but to mop up the floor! Cafe run independently and wanted to charge me to take a couple of rolls out of there, have no idea why they feel need to charge when I could have sat there for hours eating plateful after plateful. So I left them for him to dispose of - What a waste!

The hotel was in a great location, very easily accessible, near tram stops and only a 5 minute walk from the national theatre train station which you can get the train from the airport to. The hotel has a great breakfast with lots of different options to match different dietary needs. The room was clean, had a hair dryer, wardrobe and iron with basic layout. It felt really safe in the area too. Check in and check out was really quick and easy.

The hotel room was pretty basic for the price although I understand this may just be the price of hotels in Oslo.

Good breakfast (smoothies, ginger shot very appreciated), clean room, good location, free coffee at the reception and some tea in the room. Staff were kind and helpful.

It is not a real 4* hotel. No minibar, no slippers, small rooms, no toiletries (a soap only, no cream etc), the price is quite excessive for what you get. Coffee at the breakfast should be changed, it tasted horrible…

Location is perfect for exploring Oslo. Staff were superb. Would definitely stay again next time we're in Oslo. The water / tea / coffee in reception was great but the breakfasts were the best we had in Norway - so much choice and great quality.

With alcohol being extortionately expensive, the waiter (just one) should not be sniffy when we order water with our meal

We LOVED the breakfast! It was amazing. The gym was also very nice for a hotel gym, as most don't have a squat rack, but this one did. The staff was also wonderful, very helpful, and we were able to check in quite early, which was very appreciated. The mini fridge and coffee were nice too.

The rooms were just okay, nothing very fancy, and the pillows sucked. There was also no conditioner, which I found a bit odd.

Looks very nice from the outside and on the inside it is modern with nice character. The rooms are spacious and comfy with everything you need.

Nothing with the property although after booking the hotel contacted me that with my travel plans (I told them as it was a 1am check in so wanted to confirm it was ok) they said I needed to book another day for that night. I assumed they were right however when I turned up they said they were expecting the day before, so originally I did book it right. However there was no malicious intent and our room was still available for us when we got there. Other than this the stay was great
