The hotel is truly cozy and beautifully designed, offering a warm and inviting atmosphere. The breakfast was excellent, with fresh and high-quality options to start the day right. One of the best aspects is its prime location—everything is within walking distance, so I didn’t need to use any transportation to explore the city. The rooms are very comfortable, and the bathrooms are well-designed, featuring heated floors that add a nice touch, especially in colder weather. I stayed on the top floor, where the window was quite small. While there wasn’t much of a view, it was actually nice not to have any direct neighbors or overlooking buildings. I’ve seen some mixed reviews, but personally, I found the staff to be friendly and accommodating, and they speak English, so communication was easy.

is a great hotel in a great location just 3 minutes to the palace. It’s a 15 minute walk from bus and train station the walk actually takes you through the main pedestrian’s street in the centre, Karl johans gate,, if you don’t fancy the walk then the tram stops right outside the hotel, tram 17 and 19. From the hotel it’s also a15 minutes walk to Aker bridge harbour area with lots of bars and restaurants and lots of boats offering trips around the fjords. everything perfect

The hotel was lovely, the staff were polite and helpful and the bag drop was really easy. The breakfast really was superb. Fresh fruit, juice, variety of breads, vegan and gluten free options, meats and waffles. Rooms were clean and warm. 2 Single duvets on the double bed through us off a little bit but all in all a lovely stay! Hotel was just outside a tram stop, so there is easy connections to the city and train station!

To be honest we didn't expect the room to be so small, it was difficult to store suitcases and there was nowhere to unpack clothes with only a small hanging rail. Despite this we would stay here again, but would book a larger room 😅

The hotel is stylish, modern, very clean and very close to the city center and National Theatre subway station! My single room was small but comfortable and well organized. The shower was surprisingly spacious, with good cosmetics and heating floors. Bed was very comfortable with amazing sheets. Breakfast is very good - not too many options but everything is home made and great quality - I appreciate that approach.

There were some problems with WiFi but it was fixed quite fast.

I loved the staff at the hotel. They were very nice, helpful, friendly, experienced, well trained, and courteous. The breakfast buffet is plentiful, very fresh, local and international with scrambled eggs, fried eggs, waffles, pancakes and delicious sheets, local cheese, fresh fruit and veg etc. Allergies and intolerances such as lactose and gluten are also catered for at the buffet. The room was comfortably furnished, and the beds were very comfortable. I liked the location of the hotel as it was in a central part of the city, close to Slottparken and Slott; the station for metro, tram, train and Flytoget called "Nationalteatret" is about 650 metres away.

Only our bathroom was a bit cramped; you couldn't take a shower and then wash your hands or even go to the toilet without getting your feet wet. Because the entrance door to the room and the bathroom door frame kept bumping into each other, as the room was quite narrow, some of the paint was peeling off the door leaf and the door frame.

The location is good. Bedroom was spacious, nicely furnished and the bed was really warm and comfortable. Bathroom was also great and clean. Breakfast had many options, including vegan, and it was delicious!

Next to the window of our room trams were passing by, and it was kind of loud early in the morning but we didn't really mind cause we were rising early as well.

The Breakfast is amazing, and the breakfast staff are so efficient and welcoming, nothing ran out for the whole breakfast period. The room (standard with pull out bed) was huge and very clean, it’s an old building so don’t expect 5 star fittings but we were extremely comfortable. Room cleaned to perfection every day. Central location easy walking distance to centre.

There was an issue with the toilet not flushing/continuously flushing, due to a sticky button, it wasn’t remedied by the hotel despite making them aware. Very limited tv channels.

The staff were polite, friendly and helpful. The hotel was finished and furnished to a good standard and well maintained throughout. It was in close proximity and a short walk from the majority of the attractions and sights that we wanted to see. The bed was large, clean and comfortable and the shower hot with good pressure. The breakfast options were outstanding with something for everyone including some local items as well as items to cater for Europeans and Americans.

There is nothing that I experienced with this hotel or its staff that I can comment negatively or constructively on.

The staff was pleasant and helpful, the room and beds comfy and nice, the curtains can ensure total dark in the room, breakfast was very tasty and there are a lot of options to eat. The location is perfect for tourists.

The hotel is near the street where the tram passes - the room has a very good isolation, but you can sometimes feel the vibrations when trams pass. I would say it usually isn't an issue, but it may be for someone who is very sensitive to noise.

My stay was wonderful and I truly enjoyed the serenity of the place. The staff were lovely and welcoming, and I truly admire their strive for excellence for the guests. The room was kept in a hygienic condition, applicable yet simple. The location was plotted in a beautiful and underwhelming place, which isn't a distraction but truly key to enjoying my visit. Overall, the hotel resonates with the location perfectly and can suit as a perfect stay.
