Hotel location was great just at the edge of the centre of town, room was a good size and had most things you need , large bed was very comfortable breakfast was nice .

Room safe was not working when we arrived and we had to ask twice to have it fixed , only needed new batteries. room was quite noisy during the night with other residents moving furniture around ( not sure what was going on) perhaps put some padding on the feet of the furniture to dampen sound as it really does travel at night. when checking out although there was two staff members one was dealing with another guest, the other just ignored us and left us standing eventually we had to just drop the keys on the decks before she acknowledged us.

The breakfast buffet was fabulous with options for vegans, such as vegan butter and almond milk. Dietary labels were clearly marked on individual food items. The location was great, around the corner from a T Bane stop, 5 minutes from the main shopping street and 5-10 minutes from both National Theatre and Oslo Central train stations. Staff were very helpful in advising us how to get to the Tryvann Winter Park on the T Bane (Metro) and checkin was simple and quick. Free tea and coffee in the lobby room at Reception was a very nice touch considering the outise temperature of -10 to - 12 °c! The room was clean and functional. The bathroom wasn't very big but the shower was hot and powerful. There was a plug in heater (useful for drying our ski gear), a hairdryer and a kettle. The bed was very comfortable with a warm feathered duvet!

The room was a little on the small side and the key card was a bit unpredictable with locking the door. It always worked but sometimes you'd have to try a few times. For the price and central Oslo location, we wouldn't expect the room to be bigger really.

Great location, very clean and welcoming hotel. Breakfast had a decent selection and the restaurant was well managed. Was able to store luggage after check out. Comfortable bed and pillows.

Room was hot and couldn't work out how to adjust the temperature. Was hoping for a bath but only had a shower. Could have used some body lotion in the bathroom, although the rituals wash was lovely. Happened to be on the side of the hotel next to a karaoke bar which was pretty loud overnight for a week night!

Location is perfect. Ambiance is great, beautiful and well decorated. Breakfast is good, with good variety. Bedroom was well cleaned, well organized, and the 'touch' of having my name on the TV welcoming us as we arrived was special.

There's not a lot of places for us to organize our clothes in the bedroom. We needed to put our clothes in the chairs. Also, the bathroom floor heating was quite nice, however it just worked on the first day. We could not find a way to turn it on. Another thing is, they don't have a phone to call the reception in the bedroom, which makes things difficult for quick questions or requests. Also, the internet for the TV was faulty. We could not login to our netflix account, for example.

The room was pretty spacious, with more than enough room for 2 big luggages.

The bathroom is a little small and there isn't a shower curtain or door, so the bathroom floor gets wet. The room entrance didn't have a mat to dry shoes off in winter, so it was a little troublesome preventing the room from getting messy and wet.

Great location to walk & also close to public transport options as well as the Hop On Hop Off bus stop. Fantadtuc breakfast options. Having access to a hot drink in the bar/reception area after returning to the hotel after a cold day out was great.

Bathroom was very small & room was much smaller than anticipated.

The rooms were perfect for us, two single rooms, each with closet space, with two chairs and a desk, table, refrigerator, electric kettle - all the things we needed, and nothing we didn't need cluttering up the efficient space. Bathrooms were just right, not too big, not too small. Breakfast was AMAZING!!!! The Hotel Bondeheimen has been our very favorite hotel during lots of travel in Europe and Norway. HIGHLY recommend it, especially for single travelers. Good location, easy walking to most sights and transportation. We now compare every new hotel to yours and it's hard for them to measure up!

The only suggestion I would have is to provide instructions also in English on setting the thermostat. But the comfort of the room was great.

We had a great stay at the Hotel Bondeheimen. Our room was clean, the bed was nicely made and sleeping was comfortable. The room was quiet despite being in the center and close to some pubs. Breakfast was great, plenty of choice to make a proper start of your day. The location of the hotel is perfect, lots of things you'd like to visit are pretty much within walking distance. Public transport is within seconds walking away from the hotel. The staff was helpful and friendly when needed.

Nothing to complain. Maybe that prices in Norway are on the higher end but that accounts for pretty much everything, not specifically the hotel.

The hotel is in a perfect location to explore Oslo city center on foot. The staff were really kind and helpful. The breakfast offers a lot of variety, with cooked and fried eggs, scrambled eggs, roasted potato, smoked salmon and mackerel, cold plate stuff, waffles, yogurt and oats etc. etc., and the whole family was really satisfied with the breakfast. The room was clean and quiet (family room -inner - courtyard view).

The room had seen better days. It's quite beaten up. The bed is ok, but the faucet in the bathroom sink was really bad, wobbly, very difficult to set the right temperature, the bathroom door difficult to open from the inside, the gap in the flooring, the air conditioning controller not really working (so it was a bit too hot and dry during the night), flickering light in the bathroom... But it must be said that none of this problems really bothered us, so it really depends on the expectations and we could easily live with this minor issues.

This hotel is in the best position for walking to many of the main sights, and to the water front. There was a good choice of restaurants close by. The room was clean and comfortable and we liked having chairs to sit in rather than perching on the beds (superior double room). Breakfast was excellent, plenty of choice for hot and cold food. We arrived quite early and the staff were happy to check us in and give us the room key straight away.

The walls were quite thin so we could hear conversation and TV from the room next door, as well as late night noise from the pub opposite.
