Great hotel staff, especially the three girls on the front desk, always willing to help re bookings & transport. Great pool with both shady and sunny spots throughout the day. Quiet location., 8 minutes walk from beach. Great grounds, well kept by a great team. Easy 800 metre walk to group of restarants and shops. Closer to beach front restarants and Warungs. Supermarket a bit further on. $3 Au bluebird to top of Sanur with plenty of available cabs. Rooms spacious and well appointed room with suitcase benches, wardrobe and side tables to put all your stuff on and away.

Linen, although clean needs a refresh. Safe would give peace of mind for valuables.

The staff were very pleasant in this accommodation. The receptionist was very helpful and the check-in was very efficient. The room was good with a huge bathroom and good shower.

The included breakfast was poor with a choice of juice or coffee rather than providing juice and coffee. The hotel does not supply coffee or shampoo in the rooms. The biggest thing that could improve this accommodation would be to install perspex over the open area in the bathroom. The bathroom is good but some might be put off by the fact 25% of the ceiling area is open to the elements.

This place is a total Gem. It feels like a magical oasis and the energy there is so light and peaceful. The pool is wonderful for lounging in and for kids as there is a large shallow area shaded by a tree so you can spend hours in there without worrying about getting burnt. The rooms are beautiful, clean and light with a huge comfortable bed and an amazing bathroom with a huge tub. The staff are so lovely and kind and the restaurant has lots of delicious options. The hotel is perfectly located. It feels quiet and peaceful, tucked away from all the hustle and bustle but is also only 5 minutes walk to the beach and many wonderful restaurants and cafe options. This is our new go to place in Sanur. Also there is a little play room so doubly good if you have small kids.

There is nothing we didn’t like about this place.

We loved how quiet it was due to being situated at the South end of Sanur. The hotel is very traditional Balinese style with beautiful gardens and pool area. It feels like a little oasis when you step inside it. The room was very clean and we loved the outdoor bathroom. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. There is also a lovely little restaurant attached to the resort with authentic Vietnamese food at very reasonable prices.

Due to its location there was a bit of walking to be done but they do provide bikes.

Happy to recommend Puri Mesari on Sanur. If you are looking for somewhere in a quiet corner. It's best during the week (minimal guests). The restaurant food is yum and seems well-priced in terms of my limited experience. The staff at PM are all friendly, lovely and helpful without exception. It's a relatively short walk to some shops and beaches and $1.2 on a bike or $3 in a Gocar to get to more places in Sanur. There was some amazing Kite-flying happening at Mertasari Beach in the evenings, just 5 minutes walk. I like bird-watching and there were a few good spots close by too.

The restaurant should just build the surcharge into the price. And they are a bit slow... but once you get used to that, it's no drama. They could easily extend the pool hours till 9pm. It was not wheelchair friendly.

Puri Messi has a lovely ambience, the gardens, the pool, the rooms are so spacious with modern facilities and in keeping the Balinese feel. Located at the southern end of Sanur, only 10 minutes to the beach. So quiet and relaxing with wonderful friendly staff. Good Vietnamese restaurant on site if you want to dine in. Fridge & kettle in the room. Very big and comfortable bed. Free purified drinking water. I stayed very happily in an upstairs very spacious room with balcony overlooking the pool. Pool towels are provided.

Nothing, it was all perfect just be careful on the slippery steps in bathroom and to upstairs rooms. Do not walk with wet feet. Be nice if breakfast was included in the price. As a solo traveller I put a 9 score for value as it’s quite pricey for a solo traveller at $75/night, but I’m very satisfied and happy with everything and have no complaints of my stay.

The grounds are beautiful. Beds are comfortable and rooms are large.

Poor offering of toiletries.

The rooms were very clean, and the aircon was so nice and cold! Loved the pool area, although small, it was always a lovely temperature, and partly in the shade most times, which really suited our family. There was always recliner chairs available poolside, and the restaurant was steps away, meaning you could order food and drinks easily. We loved the fish in the ponds lining the pathways to the rooms (it was one of our highlights, seeing them on our walks back and forth). We also loved the helpful reception, waiters at the restaurant, and room attendants. They were always available for questions, and were amazing at sorting out any issue. We truly loved the staff, and our baby was so happy to babble at everyone, and play with the staff. We were able to hire bikes with a baby seat through the staff, and this helped us get around. Everything is pretty close to the accommodation, maybe a 10min walk to the beachside, or 5 min ride.

The open air bathroom was beautiful, although it was tricky if you needed to use overnight. Mosquito's tended to bite from sundown, so we got lots of bites from just using the toilet overnight. Not a big issue, just something to be aware of. Also there are stairs to get down to the main accomadation and restaurant from street level, again, not a big issue, but tricky with a pram, or for those who struggle with stairs.

Lovely, comfortable hotel with a fantastic Vietnamese restaurant on the property. We loved our stay – large room and bathroom; perfect for one night between other destinations.

We stayed in rooms upstairs. If privacy is important to you then you will prefer to have a room upstairs, as the ones downstairs have lovely big glass windows but, it seems, no privacy curtains.
