Beautiful location a short walk from one of the entrances to the park. Dinner was 3 options for roughly 40 euro, which they prefer to you pay in cash. Breakfast was 20 euro, again cash preferred and encouraged, so prepare accordingly. The location is not close to any restaurants and if you don't have a car (which we did not), expect to eat your meals there. They have wine and liquor, but those are also extra. Service was excellent and attentive.

Other than knowing about cash for meals, the only other issue was lack of elevators so we needed to drag our large and heavy bags up and down stairs. No one was there to assist.

We arrived late, around 10 pm and Jasmine was waiting for us. So kind! The room was amazing and the bathroom was updated and gorgeous. Breakfast was extra but so good- worth every penny to have a homemade breakfast before an all day outing to Plitzvice Falls park. After breakfast Jasmin explained the best route to see the park. That was so helpful!! We bought our tickets on Viator and had to exchange them at Entrance 1. My suggestion is don’t do that. The hotel will send you a link to the national park after you book. Buy your tickets by following that link and you can enter at the much less traveled entrance 3, right near the hotel.

The location of this accommodation is superb! We were able to walk to the 3rd entrance to the park and avoid the long cues at the more crowded entrances. Jasmine gave us detailed instructions how to walk against the flow which made navigating the park efficient and enjoyable. The rooms are clean and comfortable and we had a delicious dinner (trout) and breakfast(including an amazing apple tart made with the apples I saw them picking in the garden the night before!). We recommend eating there as the accommodation is rather remote. The restaurant is a separate owner and only accepts cash. We are so happy that we chose Plitvice Falls Cottage as the location and helpfulness of our host was fantastic. We highly recommend it!

The acommodation has a great location, entrance number 3 of the national park can be reached easily both by foot and car. The room was very clean, we appreaciated it. The host is also very kind and helpful and she adviced a great way to go around the park.

We booked the 'attic room' and in my opinion it was not presented truly online. When you enter the room, there's a spiral staircase that leads you up to the room, which might be tricky if you are with children or have a leg injury, or anything. It wouldn't have been a huge problem, but it wasn't mentioned anywhere, therefore we felt like we wouldn't have booked that room if we knew that in advance. Although we did know about the fact that breakfast is not included in the price, we were kind of shocked that it costs 20€ pp. Overall, the acommodation is extremely clean and I saw that other rooms were true to pictures and they very nice, but the one we booked was not worth the value for money.

Lovely room, very quiet, modern and clean. Very close to park entrance as long as you have purchased tickets online. You can walk there from the cottages. Jasmine was wonderful and so helpful. Lovely breakfasts and we had dinner there all 3 nights we stayed. Good food and wine. Would come back!

The room was wonderful, I wish we'd been able to stay longer. I think it was brand new because there were a few items that seemed unfinished, but overall it was fantastic. The staff was so helpful, including a great advice chat on visiting the park. That was a life saver and truly enhanced our visit. Be sure to take the time for this!

The dinner was a bit pricey for the quality, but it was great after a long day to not have to go find something. The sandwich for the park was a huge disappointment. I was ready for a delicious takeaway sandwich like you get at a bakery or a refuge on a hut to hut. Yes it's only €5, but it was really bad. There's food in the park, so do that. Like I said there were a few items undone. The soap dispenser in the shower was on the floor and has lotion on one side that you think will be conditioner. There was a dirty sock in one room, so attention to detail is lacking a little.

We had an amazing stay at Plitvice Falls Cottage! Ivan, Jasmin, and Roel offered truly extraordinary hospitality — they went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The location is perfect and very convenient for entering Plitvice National Park. There was a small mix-up with our room on the first night — it had been given to someone else — but they immediately took care of us with sincere apologies, offered us a complimentary breakfast, and moved us to the correct triple room the next day. Their professionalism and kindness really stood out. Food-wise, everything is freshly prepared and delicious, but a bit on the pricey side, so it’s good to plan a small budget for meals. Since it’s a bit far from the nearest restaurants or town center, having meals on-site is a great option, and they’re very flexible if you need anything specially prepared. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the park who wants warm, personal service and a peaceful stay.

From the moment we arrived, Igor and Jasmine went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and ensure our family had a wonderful experience. Their hospitality is truly exceptional. They were incredibly helpful in guiding us through the area, sharing their extensive knowledge of the surroundings and the best routes through the Plitvice National Park which is just a short 15-minute walk away. Their tips made our visit even more special. The rooms are spotless, modern, and equipped with everything you could need — a perfect blend of comfort and style. The setting is simply breathtaking, surrounded by nature and peaceful views. One of the highlights of our stay was the food. Everything is fresh, delicious, and prepared with love. They grow many of their vegetables in their own garden, and you can really taste the difference. Breakfast was generous and varied, and they were more than happy to accommodate any special requests. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay while visiting Plitvice. Highly recommended — we’ll definitely be back!

The property, rooms, location, cleanliness, customer service was outstanding … the setting in the afternoon sitting on the terrace enjoying a beer and playing cards with the family was memorable. Breakfast was amazing and great value for money. Easy to find (if you follow directions) and great proximity to park.

Extra pillows for bed would be nice. Attic room was lovely but as a tall family probably not the best choice as the slanted ceilings made us feel enclosed. Considering we were only in room for sleep time it didn’t matter too much. Dinner was fantastic just a bit expensive… I felt that we paid for the convenience of not having to leave to get food.

It was a fantastic property in a great location, pleasant 15 minute walk to gate for touring Plitvice National park . The staff went over and above to make our stay the very best. Great selection at Breakfast every day. Lovely outdoor seating area to enjoy a cocktail/dinner after a full day of hiking. Units are well appointed, comfortable bed, great shower. Free on site parking is a nice addition. Our Host Jasminka was amazing, clearly loves what she does and the best we have experienced in our world Travels. Going to Plitvice Lakes, highly recommend you stay at Plitvice Lakes Cottages!
