The hotel is conveniently located near interesting restaurants and on a quieter side road away from the main road. The rooms are fairly large compared to similar ones in Tokyo and Sapporo. Decor is tasteful and the whole hotel is very clean and peaceful. A nice and welcoming place to come back to after a day's activities.

The check in time is 4pm and check out is 11pm which is on the less generous side. Staff had no clear recommendations on restaurants to try around the area.

This unique boutique hotel brings a lot of surprises. The bed was hard but it provided very restful nights. Initially we were not used to the still air from the F-con (pls google for info on its technology) and we had to request for air circulators/fans. But after a night or two, we got used to it and found the air to be less drying than the usual aircon. What stands out most is the exceptional service level of the staff. Help was provided whenever we needed help. Though most of the staff do not speak much English, we were able to communicate well with Google Translate. We were always greeted with smiles which made our days brighter. Even though there’s no concierge service from midnight till 7am, we were able to get them to help us book airport transfer in advance for 6.30am departure from the hotel. We just had to deposit the keys at the counter. Initially we were worried about not being able to get help should the airport transfer not arrive on time, our worries were unfounded. The driver came 10mins before our booking time. Overall we had a Great Morning at the hotel.

The staff were incredible, very kind, and very attentive. Service was great. I liked the complimentary tea/coffee they gave when you arrive. Some of the staff are trained in massage and they can provide massages. The massages are much more affordable compared to my country. There are many great food spots around this area.

The mattress was too firm. The location was a bit far of a walking distance from Hakata Station. There was no real view from the hotel room, and I had to keep the curtain closed for privacy because everyone can see each other from the window. But unfortunately because of this, natural sunlight was blocked out from the room.

The service was excellent, the rooms were fantastic and REALLY QUIET. So quiet I had to play white noise! Location is a little bit further away from the Tenjin/Hakata areas, but still just only a 10 min walk away from major shopping centers and eateries. But as an added bonus, the area is quieter and more peaceful. The rooms were either very well kept or very new, everything was in great working condition and clean, and the interior design of the rooms was great. I loved that there was a door separating the bathroom area and the main room area. More hotels should have this!

The Wi-Fi was a little bit laggy from time to time, but that's really me nitpicking!

This was by far the best location of all my stays throughout all of Japan. Right next door and in the middle of sooooo many amazing food places, I wish I had taken some days from my stay in Tokyo and spent more here! Walking distance to anything you could wanna do or see in the city. If you dont want to walk there, then it is close to a few different local lines and about 10min away from the JR line. The staff was beyond friendly wand welcoming. That Tea was perfect. The room itself was larger than I could have expected and the bathroom was a great size as well. This place had the best mix of local personality with high end uniformity, of all the places I stayed in this trip.

This is something I knew going in so I HAD NO ISSUE HERE, but this is hotel where they dont do the daily things unless you specifically ask them to. IF you like the idea of conservation then this place is for you! If you are expecting to waited on day and night and all that, this i not the place... when they are here , they were great

Hotel was everything I love about Japan - thoughtful touches that go a long way! Staff were friendly and helpful. Loved that the toilet was separate from the room and appreciate the comfortable room slippers provided. Location was a little off the central areas but still convenient to get to shopping places and tourist sites.

Nothing. If there is anything to quibble about, perhaps room could be bigger. But it was already slightly bigger than the average hotel room in Japan.

The location was great as it is near to Nakasu Kawabata Station, which is a pretty central area to hold up in. The room was very clean and tidy. Comfortable pajamas was also provided which was quite unique. The room was also considerably spacious. We also did laundry with the hotel and the experience was very pleasant. A very nice selection of welcome drinks was also offered upon our check-in, which made a very good impression on us.

At first, we were not very sure how to put up cards for housekeeping (room cleaning) to be done during the day. We made a mistake of not reading the booklet instructions well. Had we done so, we would have realised that the cards were actually magnets and stuck onto the back of the door. Perhaps something (like a sticker or sign) can be placed at the magnet area to make it more indicative? it was unfortunate we had to trouble a hotel staff to explain this to us eventually :/

- Have to confirm your stay and pay ahead of time - Locate slightly away from Nakasukawabata Station (but it's really a <10min walk) - No additional public amenities such as gym or onsen - Hotel uses a radiator heating/cooling system and not your usual air condition unit

What a pleasant stay - thank you to the kind staff, especially to the very, very helpful young male manager. We enjoyed chatting with him every time we would come back to the hotel. When we asked he prepared and printed very detailed information about the local restaurants for us. We were very impressed with the AC system, which is really amazing - the rare hotel where we had no problem with blowing cold air on our faces while in bed. The room was very spacious and quiet and we appreciated the strong emphasis on the environmental protection (for example, a glass bottle of water in the room). The location is the best, so close to the river, the subway station (Nakasukawabata), the mall and Tenjin. We easily walked from Hakata station to the hotel.

We found the pillows a bit uncomfortable. Also, when we booked, the rate with breakfast was not available, but we saw breakfast being delivered to guests, Maybe something to offer to guests on the spot as on option? Outside eating in hotels, it was very hard to find places for breakfast generally in Japan before 9 or 10 o'clock.

The interior space makes you feel at home and the staff are always friendly and helpful. Very convenient location as the subway is near and even though it is along a quieter street, there are good places to eat nearby as well.

The bed was hard and both pillows were too flat to have a comfortable sleep (especially if you are a side sleeper).
