Would definitely stay again. Super comfortable bed (I even asked the hotel where they got their pillows from as they were great). Very friendly reception staff.

The only (very) minor things were: - parking not included in the room rate - early morning tea (there is no tea/coffee in rooms but there are tea stations on each floor - which I understand). For my early morning cuppa, I had to run down the corridor in my pyjamas (luckily I didn't bump into anyone!).

Great staff. Receptionists, restaurant hostess, housekeeping - all my 1-2-1 interactions were not only okay, but enjoyable. Delicious breakfast. Eggs + greens + beetroot, the plate I never knew I needed at 9am!

I appreciate the drive and consideration gone into making the hotel eco friendly. Happy to reduce single use printout guest info sheets, and not bother with plastic telephones in every room getting dusty. But … I feel one reusable guest info card would be useful in the room. Rather than having to switch on the tv to access a QR code which allows you to call Reception desk / get hotel info. Just a small laminated card with hotel phone number, breakfast times, check out time etc would be practical. It’s a faff and risk waking others in the room switching tv on innmiddle of the night.

Smart tidy hotel Staff were all excellent including the room staff - Kimberly And Particularly Mia, Declan and Becky from reception Comfortable beds

Parking fee for blue badge spaces Didn’t take breakfast so not sure on that Didn’t know kettles were available in the room and the walk to get a cuppa every time got a little boring! The shower hose and it’s retaining clip prevented it’s ease of movement - it is not ergonomic Tv chrome casting was awful - hardly worked at all over 3 days of our stay - probably the worst tv experience in the hundreds of hotel stays we’ve ever had - please look at that again. We visit E Devon regularly and often stay at the Marriott or Woodbury Spa - both have better tv systems and Woodbury have free parking and ordinarily better deals. £300 for three days without breakfast on a last minute booking was not a great deal and we are IHG members!

As the hotel is brand new and only been open 2 weeks everything was beautiful. The quality of the bedding is exceptional, the duvets are the most sumptuous lve ever seen in a hotel and gorgeous plump pillows. The mattress was amazing and it felt like sleeping in marshmallows.

The shower pressure was very poor, which let the bedroom experience down. The bathroom was beautiful and I was looking forward to using the new shower. Apparently they have a special air filter system relating to being a carbon neutral hotel so are aiming to reduce water waste which is super but it sadly is to the detriment of the shower experience. They had no vegan breakfast listed on the menu but they kindly made me a hot breakfast when I asked. They give a complimentary biscuit at check in but this contains milk.

Modern, clean, spacious, friendly and helpful staff, easy to find etc. very comfortable stay - great room - coffee/tea/water on each level a really nice touch. Bonus design feature - having the shower controls in a position that you don't have to get wet turning them on ! I forgot AirPods which had rolled under the bed - found and posted back the next day - excellent and very reassuring service

Paying for parking - the room wasn't cheap - no need to charge more. Breakfast - £20 or nothing - very expensive, no way value for money and would be great to have options - we did not pay and ate somewhere else - just feels like a totally unnecessary and massively exaggerated cost.

Modern foyer, eco credentials on show, large bed, huge TV , lots of encouragement to NOT waste materials but to recycle The communal drinks area cold and hot water dispenser in the corridor with tea and coffee means you can make yourself a drink for free and you may bump into another guest Good setting, will improve as garden facing main road matures. Easy access to M5, also bus route along main road. Next to Exeter Sciene park which houses some student buildings.

Some teething problems. I reported a shower door that didn't close flush. A light dimmer switch fell off its fitting. Noise from the very few flights from Exeter airport are very loud.

Easy to reach location (by car) just outside Exeter, modern newly opened sustainability focused hotel with nicely appointed rooms and limitless tea and coffee availability via a drinks station located on each floor. We ate for a couple of evenings in the hotel and the food was of a good standard, the mushroom soup was superb! Staff in the bar area were particularly helpful and friendly, and very welcoming to our pets. The hotel manager even stopped and had a nice chat with us while we were seated in the lobby.

The room type we booked was not the room we were checked into! Booked a super premium king room with sofa bed and instead was checked into a standard double room. We were so tired we stayed in the room - not sure if this was an error by Booking.com or the Hotel. In our view the Parking Charge for guests at the hotel is unreasonable and way too high at £15/day. There is an alternative free car park nearby but it is locked overnight and not convenient if you need easy access to your vehicle - so you need to factor this into the cost of your stay.

The hotel was nice but the staff were exceptional!! I don’t think I have ever stayed anywhere or eaten in a restaurant where the staff have been better !

After I booked I was very distressed to get told with confirmation of booking that I would have to pay an unexpected £15 to park my car. I have never ever had to do this before with any place I have booked with booking.com. Also it said it was dog friendly, it was only later that it became apparent that the charge was £25 per dog. Not being able to have a ground floor room was not so easy when I am in my late 70s and was travelling with dogs.

Everything about the hotel was truly beautiful. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was varied and the service was excellent. The location is perfect for those seeking comfort and relaxation away from the noise of the city. It is only a 15-minute bus ride from Exeter city center. The outdoor seating areas and lobby lounges were absolutely wonderful. The room was clean and well-organized, and the hotel is new. For me, if I return to Exeter, this hotel will undoubtedly be my first choice. I highly recommend it.

As a hotel rated 4 stars, it would be better to consider the following points: 1. A luggage porter, as is available in some other hotels. 2. The absence of an in-room safe. While safes are available at the reception, I believe guests prefer having a private safe in their own room for added convenience and privacy. 3. The idea of having a tea/coffee station in the hallway is nice, but in my opinion, it’s not suitable for elderly guests or those with special needs, as it requires leaving the room every time one wants a hot drink. 4. There is no cold air conditioning in the rooms, and the weather in Exeter has become quite hot, especially during the summer months. 5. The rooms do not have refrigerators. 6. The rooms are relatively small

Aesthetically pleasing interior, well-designed with lots of beautiful wood. Spacious, comfortable bedroom, good bed. . Excellent, well-designed shower. Very good breakfast with lots of choice, and competent, friendly staff. Hotel is very new, so everything is spotless and unsullied. Very good location for conferences, airport etc, less good for longer stay.

Room was not entirely sound-proof, but this may be because there was a door to adjoining room. Magnificent duvet was too hot for summer weather, but ambient temperature of room too cool to do without. A sheet or bedspread would have done the trick. Drinks machine in the corridor is a good idea, but the instructions were too small for me to read without my specs, which I'd left in my room. Also machine seemed a bit moody, though I finally managed to get what I required.
