The location is good, the place is amazing generally speaking. Very unique.

We chose a rather expensive room, that showed pictures with wall-to-wall windows and in the first floor, and we ended up in a basement room, with nearly no natural sunlight. We felt a bit deceived, because in the end we didn't get what led us to book this more expensive room.

Beautiful gardens surrounding the apartments with a nice small pool. The first set of pool towels is free. Great breakfast and homemade cake in the afternoon. Nice room with daily cleaning.

Loud noises from a building site nearby during week days, it pretty much ruined the experience at the pool for me. Cat pee and poop in the hallways on the floor every day. Coffee at breakfast not great.

Great location - an easy 10 minute stroll to the centre of town. Our room was comfortable and well equipped with a balcony and kitchenette, good free wifi, good shower and heating (it was December). The staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast area and lounge / reading room are delightful - a chance to relax and to mingle with other guests and the hotel cat. The gardens are beautiful and the pool looked inviting but we didn’t try it.

It’s a small hotel so if you are used to something bigger with its own restaurant and a fully stocked bar this might not be for you. There is a small honesty bar and free tea/ coffee and cake / fruit in the breakfast area all day which suited us well.

This was my second day here, and although for budget reasons I booked the same kind of double room which wasn’t really to my liking, we got to stay in a superior double room with a free upgrade. This year‘s room was much nicer, with a normal, private bathroom around the corner from the bed, with a door! Small, but cozy, and had a very sweet tiny balcony with just a bistro table, and two little chairs overlooking the garden. Very comfortable mattress and sheets and pillows, with modern spacious, standing shower. It was not a problem for us to go down and up a somewhat steep, narrow staircase for this room. — no elevator in this part of the hotel. Excellent, friendly, helpful welcome at the reception desk. We were even able to check into our room this afternoon. Complimentary fruit, coffee, and delicious cake were available into the evening. The hotel is in a beautiful former private dwelling with lovely crowds, in an upscale residential neighborhood an easy walk to the waterfront and historic center.

Loved everything about the property, although paid parking on the street could be a problem in season— like mosy of the hotels in CascaisWe were there in early December.

The property was better than expected, loved the proximity to town, the restaurants, the water front and shops. We rented bikes and road along the boardwalk and the bike path towards Cabo Rosa. The pool area is great, a little oasis and you could spend the day there lounging and reading if you so chose. The staff are very helpful and caring. The breakfast is very good, everything you need to fill up for a day of walking. Side note: if you do rent bikes, be careful when going onto the sidewalk or over curves, the tiles have a little lip and can be slippery. Nasty fall and the tiles are hard.

Hard to find anything to dislike, hell they even have free cake and coffee all afternoon. The smell of the baking fills the air, what’s not to love.

The junior suite was a nice size although quite dark inside due to outside vegetation. Also limited clothes hanging space and no drawers. Gardens were beautiful and well tended. Pool was nice though could have been a little cleaner. Buffet breakfast was very nice, especially so as there are few close by alternative places to grab breakfast.

Check-in was poor, albeit we were early. Many things not explained and we had to find out for ourselves during the first couple of days. Limited road parking if arriving by car. We used Ubers which are cheap and plentiful, but if driving parking could be a problem.

The property had several sitting and sunning areas, with gardens and streams and lovely landscaping. It had a nice looking pool and saunas. And it had a resident cat named Vela😻. The breakfast was a generous buffet and delicious ( with the ability to make fresh squeezed OJ). We had a private king suite off the main building with a kitchenette that was well presented. The room was very attractive and comfortable. Staff very friendly. The main building had a nice and comfortable living room to enjoy.

The shower leaked ( which we have noticed is common in all the places we have stayed so far).

Love the location, close to town while being tucked away in a neighborhood. The rooms back directly to the beautiful foliage and pools, making this feel like an oasis in the heart of Cascais. I had a room with kitchenette, which was quite convenient. The shared living room area is a nice spot to relax with a glass of wine from the honor bar.

The one challenge is the parking. It's always easy to find a parking spot, but you need to either feed the parking meter with coins. It is much easier if you have a Via Verde pass and can refill this with the app.

The grounds of this pretty boutique hotel are gorgeous, with a beautiful garden, pool and trees. The room was small but well thought-out, with nice decor and comfy bed. The hotel’s decor has been tastefully designed and the sitting room is particularly lovely. Breakfast was delicious with a great variety of foods. Staff are friendly and helpful. Easy 10 minute stroll to the town/beach although we found it very all to be quite touristy.

Getting our bags up/ down the narrow stairs to the room was tricky; noise from the breakfast room in the morning was quite loud in our room. The gardens are overlooked by a number of high rise apartments surrounding the property. We parked on the street out the front and got a €30 parking fine for not having a ticket. A little heads up on that would have been good.

We loved everything about this little hotel. It is a true gem for the cost. The staff were excellent; alwyas helpful and were happy to store our luggage on the day of arrival. The room was clean, comfy and lovely. We were in the older section of the hotel which had a lovely living room where you could sit and read. There was cake, fruit and coffe availabe all day, and an honour bar if you wanted a drink. Breakfast was excellent, The pool looked lovely but we were there in Febraury and so did not use it. But we did sit on the patio and in the gardens. It took about 10 minutes to walk into the old town and we always felt safe.

This is not really a negative comment but travellers should know that the parking offered by the hotel is street parking and there is a daily fee of about 9 Euros. There were always parking spots avialable and we had no concerns with the street parking. It is just good to know this. The hotel will give out change for the meters.
