Couldn’t fault this accommodation one bit. It was our first accommodation in Sri Lanka so we didn’t know what to expect. The accommodation is a little tucked away, which is great as it’s away from the busy road- the accommodation is situated by a gorgeous fishing lake and within the forest. From the minute we arrived the lovely host was more than welcoming offering us fresh juice on arrival and offering dinner for the evening. The food (Dinner and Breakfast) were so tasty and there was so much of it. The hostess provided us with a TukTuk contact who was at our call whatever time of the day to take us anywhere showing us all the amazing local attractions each journey. The room itself was lovely and spacious with a comfy bed and a decent bathroom. We did have a few frogs and lizards in our bathroom that we had to remove, which was amusing, but you can’t expect anything less while staying in the middle of nowhere! 10/10 experience and a great start to our travels. This place is a gem, it was spotlessly clean, very comfortable and well situated. The room was large with a huge bed and good bathroom facilities. Our host was very friendly and helpful. She made us dinner when we arrived as it was late, and a nice breakfast was included in the price. We felt this was the nicest place we stayed at and was excellent value compared to other properties. It can be a bit difficult to find as it’s at the end of a nature skinny dirt back road that runs beside a little lake, and signage was minimal. But it’s with the effort. Highly recommend

We loved the location, quiet and peaceful. The host was very kind, helpful and offered a warm welcome all the time. Its a wonderful spot and great value. Beautful rooms looking out over fields and near the lake. Short tuktuk ride to town is recommend. Host organised trips which were well priced and made our visit stress free. Excellent local breakfast with different juices and items everyday. We took dinner one night which was also excellent and good value. The best place we have been so far in Sri Lanka

This place is perfect. It’s in a quiet place directly facing pure nature, but only 10-15 Minutes with Tuk Tuk away from everything in Sigiriya. We saw a lot of animals while sitting on the terrace. That was truly magical. The hosts were lovely. They arranged so many things for us. If we had any questions, we could just walk out the door to her and she found a solution that suited us. They are truly dedicated to this place. The breakfast was one of the best I had so far in Sri Lanka. Do don’t want to miss that. The Room was very clean and in perfect condition. We really enjoyed our stay there. Just a heads up, firstly you might want to bring some sort of mosquito protection to Sigiriya cause there are a lot and secondly tell the host that you want transportation a little in advance, cause it can take the driver up to 15-20 minutes to get there. We were sad we had to leave. Definitely recommend!

Loved the secluded location. But still only a short tuk tuk ride from the main town centre (which the host can arrange for you). The accommodation is surrounded by a beautiful fishing lake and rice fields.The host family are so warm and friendly. The breakfast and meals were so generous and authentic. The best food I've eaten in sri lanka so far! The room was immaculately clean and well maintained. This has been a highlight of our trip so far!

There was nothing to dislike.

A clean and tidy room in a picturesque location with a large floor-to-ceiling window and an unforgettable view of the jungle. During the day you can see many peacocks, and at night you can watch the lights of fireflies. The owner of the hotel is very attentive and always ready to help in any situation, and she also cooks traditional dishes wonderfully.

Absolutely incredible. The room is immersed in the countryside of Sigiriya, the road to to it is a bit tricky but we did it with our tuk tuk so it’s okay. Spacious and clean. The owner is incredibly caring and nice, there was a storm when we arrived and she cooked dinner for us. Breakfast was so tasty and perfectly on time (not like many other places we’ve stayed in Sri Lanka). Highly recommend!!!

Breakfast was amazing here, fresh fruit trees all around and our host cooked us fresh roti, egg, sambal, each day. It was just divine. My children enjoyed all the nature sounds and picking fruit and fallen coconuts.

It is expected to see critters all around, our bathroom was no exception! We had frogs come from the drain, my kids were very excited by them and it was one of the highlights for them during our stay here! The place is a bit difficult to reach at first but our driver was fine in his car getting here.

This place offers exceptional value for the price. The staff is excellent, and the atmosphere is incredibly calm and peaceful. The room was perfect, with a beautiful view of the paddy fields. There is a nearby lake where you can enjoy a stunning view of Sigiriya Rock in the evening. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable stay.

The room felt fresh and clean with a nice bathroom. The lady managing it is absolutely fabulous, ensuring a warm welcome. Breakfast was fantastic and varied, and the welcome juice was yummy. They offer transport to a restaurant for an additional fee. We enjoyed the location outside the town, and a bonus is spotting peacocks in the nearby palms!

We didn’t really mind but expect some small insects trying to get inside… and I had to take two tiny frogs from the bathroom outside as well :)
