Clean Room. staff was kind and accommodating.

Al was wonderful! Polite. Informative. Very helpful, including carrying my bags up to my 2nd floor room. Made checking in very easy.

Christmas tree in the lobby could be removed. Also, this morning it appeared that someone had slept on the couch next to the Christmas tree. Cover up the door to the pool area as it looked unkept ex: debris all around. The look of the vending machine made it not appealing. In general, things need to be updated. It is obvious that the place was previously gorgeous and quite a venue. Hope someone can invest money in it to bring it back.

`The room was quiet and beds comfy. We slept really well both nights. The price was great for weekend nights. However, others need to be aware that it is a hotel in transition and an older one. There are not many outlets accessible to plug in devices so a multiple plugin would be advisable. There was a small window air-conditioner that we were afraid wouldn't be enough, but it surprised us and kept the room very cool. The coffee bar was in the lobby and well-stocked. The office only seems to be open from 3-8pm, so we left the keycard in the room upon checkout. Overall, the hotel served our purposes - close to where we needed to be, and quiet and comfortable.

The smaller bathroom and shower/tub. It still had the older type faucets - water was hard to regulate temperature. No outlets near the beds to plug in phone to recharge.

The staff was so sweet and always checked in when we would bump into each other. The check-in process was really quick, and we were given a quick tour by Frank. (he was very kind and made us feel very welcome!) They're renovating and fixing a few things cosmetics-wise, but nothing stuck out to us as distracting. The rooms and hallways were very clean. There are rules and guidelines posted around with expectations of reminders of being a decent person and cleaning up after yourself, which I liked. There's a common room area with coffee, an ice machine, and snacks that you can get to throughout any time of day. It's quiet, but when running into people, they were very kind. There's very spotty cell service. My friend and I had SOS most of the time, but there's Wifi, and it made it put our phones down a lot more unless we were taking pictures. The area was beautiful, and there was a lake right across the road with parking available. We are planning on coming back next year! I would 10/10 recommend.

The manager at the front desk really made this experience. He took a lot of pride in his job, talked about the facilities and how they are rebuilding and renovating the space. He walked us to our room and ensured that we knew exactly what the space had to offer and what to look forward to in the future.

The space was amazing in the room and the like stated before the manager was incredible. The space is definitely in a state of renovation so don't expect pristine at the moment, however, the potential excitement for the future is obvious. We are actually booking again in a few weeks.

Hotel was close to the venue for a wedding we attended. It’s in a quiet area away from the city but a 30 min drive to shopping and dining. The room was renovated but love how the bathroom was retro in pink. Water pressure was great, beds were firm. Our room included A/C, a fridge, microwave, seating area, and a little bistro dining set. Staff was responsive and helpful.

Property still needs work but you can tell they are making progress. Love the idea of remodeling a place that once was. I’m sure this will be the gem of the town once fully renovated.

This was initially booked because of the value for a quick overnight, but upon check in we were greeted by Frank and shown to our room and pleasantly surprised. This is an older resort that is being updated. The room was clean and spacious with a very comfortable bed. There was a vending machine and Keurig in the lobby, local pizzeria delivered some delicious eats. A few picnic tables and seating on a small patio with a lake across the street. The room was very quiet and other than hearing someone in the hallway, we never heard a thing.

Room darkening shades would be a nice addition, the light woke me up but other than that we slept great. The vending machine took coins only which we did not have on us and the office does close for the night.

This is a FANTASTIC family owned retro hotel. It’s being remodeled, so it’s not perfect yet - but it’s absolutely wonderful. You can go across the st to sit by the lake or walk the grounds. It’s very quiet and peaceful here. Armen greeted me, helped me with my bags and was so incredibly kind and helpful. I can’t say enough about this family. Oh, the hotel cats! I fell in love with them. I loved my stay and wish I was there for more than one night.

Very cute and comfy, quiet, clean building! We plan on staying here again! It’s an affordable place as well as convenient, there are plenty of stores within 9 min away, we found a cute diner on the way out! Staff didn’t bother us and were friendly! Very peaceful and relaxing aurora here!

It is pretty quiet! So don’t plan on being super loud! I’m naturally loud, but out of respect for others!
