The hotel looks in good condition and is kept clean and tidy, in fact the public spaces were pretty much spotless. Rooms comfortable. Beds huge. Plenty of shower gel and shampoo. Good choices extensive, particularly for veggies/vegans. All good. Top of our list though was the excellent service, from check-in to check out. Restaurant staff were superb. They made our two night stay even better. Thanks.

Virtually nothing. It’s close to all amenities. Plenty of parking (no Killie match that weekend). We left a note about a couple of minor maintenance issues in our room.

Staff very friendly and helpful. Blue restaurant and coffee shop. Room was clean and spacious. Tea making facility. Excellent nights sleep comfortable bed. Location close to town. Would stay in future but would not use restaurant for meals.

Restaurant - Gluten free option for dinner not good choice. Serving staff no knowledge Ordered steak pie GF and got steak in bowl bit sloppy and tasteless. Bit of a mix up with dessert and when spoke to server he took note of the correct order and never appeared back to our table and we overheard a debate going on about our order between the staff. At this we asked what the problem was.

I liked the convenience and cleanliness of the hotel. Staff were great to deal with and had no issues. Will stay again next time in the area.

There are charge place Scotland chargers behind the hotel which are always handy but this company is not servicing their machines and we had to charge elsewhere. Although this is not the hotel’s concern, it is a good selling point for EV users. Perhaps the hotel would consider installing their own network and provide their customers with a better charging facility. It would also increase revenue from tariffs for other non hotel guests which would also increase foot fall traffic for coffee’s and drinks whilst charging.

Reception was very friendly. We arrived late, quite tired and they also cheerfully helped arrange a taxi the following morning. The option to add breakfast was expensive, however you can visit the cafe & purchase on your own for about half the price.

For the price, the room we were in had a bit more wear than I would expect--minor things like worn carpet and loose tiles, generally a little shabby compared to the appearance of the lobby, etc. However, it was clean, comfortable, quiet and we felt safe. Would stay again.

Check in was easy and quick. Room was spotless., evening meal was well presented & tasty. Lovely to get pot of tea & coffee at breakfast rather than just a cup.. overall pleasnt stay, all staff apart from 1 very helpfull,. We didn't feel rushed with evening meal/ breakfast..

Breakfast buffet was cold, but once staff were made aware, they did offer to get the chef to cook what ever we wanted from fresh... whilist sitting at our breakfast( table of 3) a member of staff came to our table and was going to remove 4th setting to put on another table. When asked to leave it until we were finished, they were not happy. When asked if they thought it was ok to remove place setting they replied YES.. dosen't make sense hand sanatize on entry, but ok to move crockery from table to table. ☹️.

Room was excellent. Spacious,clean,quiet. Reception staff were very friendly,very helpful,very efficient.

I was a wee bit disappointed with the food on offer.When you order something from the menu,to be told that it is not available;added to the fact that my second choice was not to my taste,meant that I did not enjoy the food. Didn't have time to eat in the restaurant. Eating in a bar is always hit or miss. Most tables were occupied by groups of people drinking only. Can't fault the staff,or indeed the hotel. But it just wasn't an enjoyable experience,after a long drive.

The facilities were good, the food in the Blue Restaurant was great, friendly staff, clean. Was able to book breakfast to be delivered to the room in the morning and it came on the time it was booked for which was really good.

The bed wasn't great, instead of a double bed as requested, it was two singles pushed together with a double sheet over both but the gap inbetween was still evident which made sleeping uncomfortable. The breakfast wasn't great, a paltry portion in relation to the cost.

Lovely clean hotel friendly helpful staff

Asked for a ground floor room near to reception due to respiratory issues was given a room in second floor away at the far end of hotel quite a bit to walk and had to use lift which I don't like , did mention this at reception and the lady asked if I wanted to change but this would have caused us more hassle as our stuff was already in the first room

My room faced the football stadium who had floodlights on all night. I managed to fold a towel and a pair of jogging bottoms on top of curtains, lean ironing board over one side of curtains etc. If you like a dark room you'll need to find ways around it. It was like 3pm at 3am. What a waste of energy! Maybe shutters would be good for this.

Room size and standard was excellent. The restaurant outstanding (though maybe just a wee bit overpriced for quantity on the plate). Staff could not have been any better in all respects. Unusual but very quiet at night location.

Be hard to pick up anything negative really. However, the only thing we didn't really like (but hotel would) was the number of non residents filling bar and restaurant at times. While location next to football stadium quiet it could be different during the season I assume. It is a wee bit out of town if you require the town center, though taxis were reasonably cheap and greet service too.
