Our room was specious! Great and quiet location. Room was clean, with all extras and even more. Spa is small, but lovely and included in price. We really enjoyed breakfast. It was my birthday trip and I felt very welcomed and appreciated with champagne.

The room was well designed and spacious. The shower room had a heated floor and night light that worked by a movement sensor. The double bed was comfortable, as were the pillows. There was air-conditioning. The spa was modern, spacious and we relaxed there on both days. The breakfast was excellent. It took us only 15 mins to reach the old town. Bolt taxi is incredibly cheap for those that don't want to walk. The room and street were very silent at all times. We have visited Tallinn many times and I'm now confident we have now found our preferred hotel. We are a mature couple with 10's of different hotel experiences and I feel a 9.5 rating is justified.

I absolutely adored this hotel. Great location right outside Old Town — maybe 8 mins walk? — but not at all touristy and blah. Great staff, lovely breakfast, great rooms, fitness room defend, beautiful little pool thing. I was so sad to leave!

Hotel is quite modern with a walking distance to old town and facilities in the hotel are really good as well. Breakfast had lot of options including sparkling wine which you dont see quite often. Hotel has a well equipped gym with spa, steam and sauna. Hotel room itself is not that big but we liked how they setup the sofa bed for kid and also this is the first time we saw hotel providing slippers and bathrob for kid :) Bathroom had both shower and big bathtub including Jacuzzi in bathtub which is again not that common in most of the hotels. Old town can be reached from hotel in 15 mins walk so you dont really need to use public transport to reach most of the tourist locations but if needed public transport is also easily accessible from hotel. Overall a great experience and would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Tallinn.

Everything was great

Very spacious room, clean and equipped with everything you need. Quiet, warm and insulated from light. The hotel was very well located, 3 minutes from the center on foot. In a fabulous neighborhood. Very complete breakfast and good service. Spa area was acceptable.

The sink didn't drain properly; the SPA only has a sauna, a Turkish bath and a jacuzzi that can't hold more than 10 people; the SPA was not supervised at all, so the parents allowed the children to use it as a play pool. Although it's not the children's fault, the parents' behaviour should be disciplined by someone at the hotel. The worst thing was the very cold treatment of the people at reception; apparently in their culture it's normal not to return a greeting or look at your face when you talk to them, but they didn't even react to thank you, or good morning, etc. A bit strange, really.

Breakfast was excellent. Huge selection of varied meats, fish, breads, juices, and both hot and cold options available. Staff were very attentive and constantly replenishing items and keeping the restaurant clean. All included in the price also, as is the health spa facilities which are located in the basement. Sauna, Steam Room, Jacuzzi, Pool, and heated tile beds all free to guests. Location was great too, close to old town (10 min walk), theatres, and a nearby modern shopping centre.

Room was very warm in the night, and despite adjusting the thermostat control, it remained this way. Rather noisy internally from people walking along corridors.

The hotel is modern, clean, excellent facilities and within a 10 minute walk of the Old Town. Breakfast was excellent, with lots of choice. The staff were friendly and helpful. It was fantastic to have the spa yo come back to after a day walking and exploring.

We felt the spa could be better monitored by staff. We only saw a member of staff to come and switch on the steam room/sauna. On our final day there was a family with 2 children around 10 to 12 years of age and a baby. The children were splashing, jumping, diving in the hot tub as though it was a full swimming pool. They were going into the steam room (where their father was) which is clearly not acceptable for children. They were spitting/squirting water at each other. Basically they were behaving as regular siblings - BUT the spa is NOT the place for this. Guests want a relaxing environment. Clearly this should be the parent's responsibility but staff on hand to oversee this would have helped.

The hotel is nicely located, not far from airport and walking distance to the old town, it was also not on a main street so not noisy at all. We really enjoyed the breakfast (and especially the bubbles provided at breakfast) and the additional facilities like the gym and sauna. Our room had a big terrace which was a great plus as the weather was good.

There's a couple of things that we think could help improve the experience. There were only 2 hangers in the room , and there was not enough storage space. The terrace pillows and seats were dusty, and they needed a deep clean. It's a pity that the small bushes on the terrace were actually fake plastic plants. It would also be good to have some additional privacy between the terraces, we really enjoyed ours but only because our neighbours did not go out on theirs. The ventilation in the bathroom could be better, the bathroom had a window which couldn't be opened ( and had a privacy film on top) because it looked onto someone else's balcony.

The location is just outside of the Old Town but still very walkable. The spa was great and always very quiet. Breakfast had lots of choice. Staff were friendly.

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Hestia. Due to a delayed flight I wasn’t able to check in until the early hours and the hotel staff were very accommodating and responded to my messages about my delayed quickly. The room itself was lovely and clean, a well stocked mini bar and toiletries to use. The breakfast was incredible and I would throughly recommend. I also made use of the small spa at the hotel. Sadly, the sauna/steam rooms were not available at the time I used the spa but the hot tub and warm bathing seats were lovely to use. I had the place to myself! Plan to return to Tallinn soon and would happily stay here again.
