This hotel is right in the heart of the old city, less than 100 metres from the cathedral. The street is closed to traffic, other than taxis, and the bus stop is near by. The staff were extremely helpful giving us information on where to eat, bus routes and parking (they have an arrangement with a nearby car park at 12 euros per day). Breakfast was very nice, a selection of four savoury dishes and four sweets. Our room was clean and serviced daily.

Our room looked out onto an internal light well but we knew before going that there wouldn't be a view. It's an old building but is fitted to a modern standard internally.

The location is superb, if you like the "old town" location. It is next door to the main cathedral - it just doesn't get better. Staff are all excellent. Everyone we met was very friendly, helpful and efficient but not obsequious. Food for breakfast was tasty and well presented. By the end of the week we were getting close to wishing there were a few more options available on the menu, but we weren't quite there yet.

The bar / restaurant seems to be a little under utilized. We were away every day so I'm not sure about lunch times etc. but in the evenings we could happily have sat there and had a beer or two but it was always shut - it just isn't used for that. The hotel misses out on not having a lounge area for guests, we only found out about the roof terrace late on in our stay. But it is limited in space and wouldn't be suitable for that anyway.

You really feel that you are welcome to Masanet hotel. All staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is very good: you can select your favorites from short list and food is prepared after your order. Real restaurant experience instead of normal breakfast buffet. Hotel is in beautiful old building, which has been just recently renovated completely, with good taste. Everything works well and our room was very clean. Hotel is in heart of old town. There are plenty of good restaurants in short walking distance.

Central location comes with a toll, because the noise insulation is quite poor. Hotel is on walk street but some noises comes to room from street and near by bar until midnight.

This is without doubt the best place we have stayed in the Las Palmas to date. Obviously it helped that we were upgraded, but the rooms are magnificent, breakfast was top-notch, staff were welcoming and personable. The hotel is centrally located in the historical district.

Everything was great. But I guess tea/coffee making facilities would be nice in the room. however, we did request a kettle and it was provided with no problem.

The only thing I could fault, is the noise from the streets outside. It was really loud until 3am, even with the earplugs the hotel kindly provided. This was the only issue that ruined the night stay for me. I understand it is not the hotels fault, but it is only a wooden type window, that does not cancel out the noise. It was a little pricey for a sunday night, off season too.

It's in a very nice part of the town with a variety of restaurants and shopping options around as well as some sights. It was easy to reach for us by bus and on foot. The staff was lovely and very attentive. The breakfast was very good and the room was nice and clean.

The old wooden windows do look lovely but as some other reviews mentioned they do not block out sound from the street so if you're a light sleeper plan with that in mind.

One of the best hotel stays I’ve had in a long time. Masanet nails it — warm, thoughtful service, insanely comfortable rooms (I legit didn’t want to leave mine), and a breakfast that’s actually worth waking up for. But the real gem? Gabby, the manager. She was absolutely perfect — kind, attentive, and made everything feel effortless. This place has heart. I’ll be back.

The hotel is right next to the cathedral and within walking distance to all major attractions. The hotel is beautifully decorated and has a roof top deck and discounted parking. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was delicious.

The address of the parking garage before arrival would be extremely helpful! :)

Breakfast was oustanding and set us up for the day. Location in the centre of Vegueta was perfect for viewing Las Palmas old and new or touring further afield.

The bedroom was on the small side but did not detract from our 7-day stay.

The breakfast is superb, with fresh juice and a selection of hot and cold choices, all delicious. The location is ideal, right in the heart of the beautiful old town and very short walk from the Cathedral.

My room window was facing another room, so not particularly pleasant.
