We only stayed one night but were pleasantly surprised — especially by the Swedish buffet breakfast (worth waking up for!). We also really appreciated that it’s pet friendly — our kitty settled in immediately and clearly approved. I did think we were getting the fancy room from the website... turns out there are several, and I just got excited too soon 😅. So just a small heads-up to future guests to double-check that when booking. But ours was still comfy and clean. Looking forward to staying again on our way back!

We were on a bike trip as a family and the place was enough for one night before we keep traveling. Beds were comfortable and room and facilities were very clean. Location is short distance from the main touristic spots. Kitchen is also nice and well equiped for a simple cooking.

The reason why we choose the place was because it was written that they have place to park bicycles. When we arrived, in a rainy day with a todller, at the check-in we were first told that there wasn't a place to park bicycles and we should have reserve a (paid) garage (for cars), Later on we were told that we could store the bicycle in a room behind the hostel.

Limited reception hours and slam locks on doors, so keep an eye on your door keys.

Great value for money. Central location in between the train station and city centre. Nice garden in front divided in a smoking and non-smoking section. Well equipped communal kitchen. Large common area downstairs. Weren’t that many guests staying, so didn’t really meet anyone. Great water pressure in the showers. Nice little shelf that functioned as a nightstand for each bed.

The pillow was so old it was all bulky, really should be replaced. Privacy curtains for the dorm beds would have been nice. Our 4 bed dorm was in fact for 5 people, as there was one queensize bed, which is a bit awkward. Missed a reading light and power outlet at the bed.

Convenient located and private parking availability. Friendly staff waiting for us despite arrival later than check in (no staff after 18.00). Little selection of food and beverages also convenient and rooms fine for one night short stay.

We could get cold beers after check in area closed, and maybe you could keep and fridge with beers/water/sodas for people to buy either with lock or to pay at check out?

Great location at very affordable prices.

The check-in instructions were unclear. We couldn’t find the parking area and tried calling, but no one answered. Another guest eventually helped us. Also, if you wanted to call someone for assistance, there was a €25 charge!

Big hostel with lots of rooms but well maintained and clean. Nice breakfast area and small garden at the front. Comfy beds and towels. Very well located.

Our room was located just next to a shared kitchen which turned out to be a bit noisy in the morning. I believe there could be a bit more showers and toilets per floor.

If you considder the place as a hostel , your on the right side. Everything is more or less basic . Rooms are clean and quiet , shower is ok and the breakfast is more than enough . Tea and coffy even the whole day to get..Location is between the main trainstation and the centrum of the town , both sides 5 minutes walking..

Very friendly staff, nice community kitchen, comfortable beds, access to laundry for 6 euros, access to bike rental for 8 euros.

The city of Flensburg is not the most exciting for tourist purposes, but that’s not the hostel‘s fault. As an in between stop on a longer journey, works very well.

There was a very problematic guest. From Bosnia, about 40 years old, short hair, very demanding and aggressive. Problematic, even dangerous to hostel and to other guests. Was proud of criminal actions he caused within the hostel. When I told the staff the warning about him the next day she didn't really care
