The location was great. Truly downtown just as you walk out the front door. There was purified water for free everywhere in the hotel. Also coffee and tea for free in the Living Room Club. The gym was a nice plus. What we liked the most was the restaurant, Elephant & Castle: amazing staff and the food was delicious (you gotta try their breakfasts!).

Great location to many tourism opportunities, restaurants, and transit options (T line, city Blue Bikes). Felt generally safe as far as a big city goes in this location. Front desk staff was very accommodating and friendly. Coffee & water in the lounge was a nice touch.

Room was spacious and clean. Good location, close to the train line and attractions in Boston. Also very courteous staff who were helpful and accomodating. Great place to stay overall.

The location was great! Easy walk to many attractions in Boston - shopping, New England Aquarium, Chinatown, and more, along with several T stations and South Station We had one of the smaller room, but it was a fine size for two people staying a few days. The staff was friendly, and helpful. Loved the ever-available coffee machine (and the option for mugs while staying in, or paper cups for going out), the reusable water bottles provided, and the travel-sized amenities availavle.

The fan/heating system in the room worked fine but was quite loud. The room we had was shower only. If you need a tub, be sure to ask if they have them. It wasn't a big deal for our trip but if you are looking for a place with a view, this is not the place for it.

Nice place, location, and staff. Also adjacent to a pub/sports bar called 'Elephant and Castle' (that is nothing like the Tube stop in London). Great location if you've never been to Boston as Downtown is central to most locations you're likely to visit (though perhaps not if you plan on spending the evenings on a pub crawl).

TV didn't have streaming options (they're in the process of upgrading them), just basic cable. If your room is adjacent to the main road you might be woken up by loud traffic/sirens i.e., choose a room away from the main road if possible.

The location was great. The staff were very helpful when they couldn't provide a fridge for our room, offering to put our things in the fridge downstairs. The complimentary water stations and lounge to make tea and coffee are a nice touch. The water pressure in the shower was great. The rooms and the lelevators could do with a bit of TLC and updating. But, overall, we had a pleasant stay.

My friend and I had booked a twin room and it was a surprise to us when it didn't have a fridge. We did ask on several days for one, as apparently they have some small portable ones that they move from room to room. However, a fridge wasn't able to be provided.

I stayed here for the Boston marathon. The location was central, close to Boston Common (15 minute walk) where the buses pick you up to take you to the start line in Hopkinton. There are many good restaurants closeby, with Chinatown a 5 minute walk from the hotel. The room was clean and comfortable, with a strong shower. The WiFi was very strong. Breakfast was served in the pub next to the hotel (there is a door in the hotel reception which takes you into the pub). The breakfast was good, with multiple options and friendly staff. I'd recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in Boston, particularly if you are running the Boston Marathon.

Close to a lot of historic Boston and for a little more you can enjoy breakfast at the next door pub. It’s very clean even if older rooms and the beds comfortable. I saw a lot of airline staff staying here which is always a good sign. The reusable/refillable plastic water bottle kiosks were a nice touch and were free. Staff was friendly and helpful. Very walkable location in general. It’s not a fancy hotel by any means but it’s safe, comfortable and has a great location.

The rooms are on the smaller side with stall showers even when “upgraded” to a bigger room with a small fridge. I’m not a fan of all the nickel and dime add ons. Want late checkout or a bigger room that’s additional. I also think the do it yourself check in kiosks defeat the purpose if they still have to help you to do it because your reservation was made on a third party app. Just check me in at the front desk I like the human interaction anyway. Noise from the hallways will come into your room as the doors don’t really seal all that out, but people were pretty respectful of noise levels otherwise.

Very nice hotel right in the city center, close to many tourists attractions. Lovely staff, very helpful. Good coffee machine in the lobby. Breakfast was in the restaurant which is right next door. I stayed for quite a long time, so at some point the food gets repetitive. But if you're staying for a short time, this is fine.

The walls were not soundproof, so sometimes it was not easy to sleep early when people were still walking around on the floor. But I think this is the case for almost all the hotels in the US.
