The staff were friendly and genuinely ready to help. The pool is large and clean and not overcrowded. Food verity and quality is very good. Rooms are spacious and well air-conditioned. The distance to beach is short and within walking distance. Overall the hotel is family friendly.

There is no king bed in the entire hotel (at least we were told so by the receptionist). Instead there are two twin beds put next to each other creating a king like bed. The beds move during sleep and make a gap in between. It might be ok for a couple but if you have small child(ren) sleeping in the middle of the bed you would constantly find them stuck or near falling into the gap between the beds. Awful decision by the hotel and it is a deal breaker for some families. There is no self-service laundry facility in the hotel. Any thing not included in your deal is very expensive.

Very friendly and helpful staff, great choice at breakfast and dinner. Very friendly service at the terrace bar in the evenings. Good location near the beach and expansive nature reserve. A bus stop right outside the hotel with a very good bus service was very handy. Accommodation was clean, well-serviced and very comfortable. As we had an early morning departure before breakfast a packed breakfast was waiting for us at reception as we checked out. A very thoughtful surprise.

The only thing we didn't like was having to go home!

Location excellent. Beautiful quiet piece of beach 3 mins walk through a nice park. Close enough to Can picafort to take an evening walk over there, but far enough to be quiet & away from the tourists. Staff was really great, very helpful & friendly. Facilities amazing, two pools available with sunbeds with optional shade umbrellas. Buffet was great, big selection and tasty, that goes for the breakfast and dinner too.

Bungalows are clean a new, but few really silly features such as: 1. motion detectors in every room which turn the bathroom lights on, so you sleep at night, move slightly in your bed and the lights will come on. So you have to keep the bathroom doors shut to mostly block it from waking you up. 2. Everytime you enter the bungalow, th AC turns on and the living room light too, no matter what time of day it is or what temperature 3. Bedroom ceiling fan is most useful when you want to sleep (AC blows too much and switches itself off & on every 30seconds to keep the set temperature - which is just too sensitive. Anyway the ceiling fan has only one speed setting, which is helicopter fast, so thats a bit annoying.

The bungalows were well spread out & decorated nicely. It was one of the nicest places I’ve stayed. The pools are great, a big pool which is still suitable for kids & a big kids pool right next to it which was very safe. There was always lots sun beds available, no getting up early to puts towels done (it’s not that kind of environment). All the guests were very friendly & there was a nice vibe to the place. The food in the restaurant is by far the best I’ve had in any half board hotel, really excellent with so much choice, we looked forward to dinner each night.

A small kitchenette would have been handy to have when traveling with kids. There was also nowhere to fill up water bottles on the premises which would be standard in most places that provide half board. Buying bottled water constantly adds an unnecessary expense I feel. Also the staff in general weren’t very friendly, especially in the restaurant. Also the playground could do with an upgrade. It looks a bit forgotten about, not very inviting.

Great family hotel, right near amazing beach. The stuff was beyond nice, breakfast was one of the best we had in Europe. Two big pools, you have plenty of space and sunbeds. The boogaloos were also lovely, we appreciated having our own little house just for us. Overall, especially if you come with family and kids it’s a great place. If you want more of entertainment / night life you might want to check another location.

The only downside was the gym. Half of the machines were not working and there was no AC. The space was also quite small.

Great hotel. Beuatiful sandy beach 3 min away, you just have to cross a bridge that goes through a forest. The food was amazing, we booked breakfast + dinner and weren't disappointed - great variety, tastes good, all freshly cooked. Waiters and personnel in general very attentive and polite. Good animation programme, especially music bands that were invited. It finished by 10.30 every night without exceptions, so we were able to enjoy good music without sacrificing the sleep. Good poll facilities, gym is a bit small but you can find ways to train there and it's perfectly fine for vacation-mode workouts. Clean renovated bungalows- we had Silver option and it was great. Great job Hotel Valentin and THANK YOU for the amazing vacation! Will be definitely coming back 🙂

“Gold” bungalow was good, renovated and clean. Cleaning service was fine, special kudos to Nora. Overall concept of bungalows type of hotels is super cool, as you get privacy, as terrace is surrounded by bushes, but at the same time all facilities are in place: bar, restaurant, pool, evening activities and entertainment for children. There is possibility to rent a car at good price directly at reception. Personal is friendly and helpful, all requests were responded immediately. Nice trail to the sand beach via shadowed alley and wooden bridge (beach equipped with toilet and paid umbrellas / chais lounge).

Breakfast- all over the time same food (majorly eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes, plastic cheese). Dinner-buffet if to book directly in the hotel €25/person, while cannot say it is tasty, mostly fried, oilish food. Beach towels is paid, €7 per each, which seems weird to me.. Majority of guests are family with children, which sometimes annoying..

The property is very clean, well taken care of. The layout is great. The main pool area is so family friendly with the dedicated little kids area being large so lots of people can be there without crowding. My 7 month old could stand at 2 of the edges and hold the side of the pool with his head/shoulders above water while my 22 month old could explore the entire kids pool with his head above water. Pool toys are allowed (we had a floating device for my 7month old and a beach ball). Plenty of pool chairs (never struggled to find one available). The lap pool in the “quiet area” was a huge plus as my husband likes to swim The breakfast selection was excellent. Lovely buffet with so many choices. The bungalow (golden) was so nice. A/C worked well, it was clean and looked newly refurbished. The couch was comfortable and had a nice nice mini fridge. The patio area is large and private with tall bushes around it.

The one downside is that the beach is a 5minute walk away which in itself is fine, but the road to cross is busy. The short 10 min walk to town isn’t bad but no sidewalk-just walk along the road. Plus side is there is a bus stop very close outside the hotel which is very convenient. We didn’t use it but will use it to get out/explore more when we come back!

The bungalows stand a few meters from each other and are surrounded by plants and trees which offers a lot of privacy. Friendly staff. Nice breakfast with plenty of different options and tasty dinner for a reasonable price. A sandy beach is just in a few minutes walk through a forest, the sea there is quite shallow and convenient for little kids, a safeguard post is right next to the beach entrance.

Wifi coverage in bungalows is fragmented. One room has full scale wifi, other room has very poor connectivity or no connectivity at all. Kitchen appliances show signs of aging.

Beautiful complex. It has a really peaceful/ eco feel to it, surrounded by trees. Each bungalow has its own little terrace. Location was perfect; far enough from the high rise blocks and nestled between green areas, very close to the sea. Really friendly and welcoming staff. Clean and modern amenities. Great swimming pool for the children. We would love to return!

The bungalow was beautiful and would have been perfect for two adults + 2 small children. Our 12 & 9 year olds were just a little too big to share the sofa bed comfortably m. Shame there isn’t an option to have two single beds instead of a sofa bed.
