Close to the ocean, but far enough from all the hustle and bustle where it wasn’t loud in the evening. Room was pretty clean and had new floors and updated mattresses and painted walls. What ended up being just a place to sleep and shower turned into a we’d stay here again. Staff was great and fixed any issues right away, also gave us a big discount on a second night after we decided to stay longer.

Not entirely sure what happened but someone walked into our room on the second day as if they were supposed to be staying there. I went down to the lobby and the manager rekeyed our door so no one could do it again.

The motel was close to the beach and very reasonable in there room rates and the staff were nice the rounds were ok

well in the room the Bed was uncomfortable it felt like a roll-away bed and the bathroom door would not shut it appeared to be swollen wood and the towel rack was broken on one side i know this is only a 2 star motel but even 2 star motel should be in good repair

The location was excellent for a short walk to the beach.

Tried to put my husband and I in a doubles room, even though we had booked a king, and the parking lot had 2 cars in it. Explained that it was our honeymoon and, after a debate, they upgraded to a suite as that was all they had available. Water pressure and shower were horrible. The knob just turned and turned, had to find sweet spot for a lukewarm shower.

Super close proximity to the beach!! Literally right across the street! Our room was huge, they put us in a deluxe room that had a living room and a bedroom. It was fantastic. The staff was super nice, the lady at check in and Jilly, the housekeeper, checked on us every day to see if we needed anything for our room.

I am not used to sleeping on a firm bed. This isn't anything with the hotel, it is just my personal preference.

Very nice family runs this hotel, I'm on Tybee all the time & often stay here because they're almost always the cheapest rate on the island The beach is a block away across Butler & its located in the middle of the island so it's a short 10-15min walk whether you want to visit restaurants & shops on the north or south end The main IGA grocery store on Tybee is also a 5min walk just a few blocks south

It's a small hotel, great for a peaceful, quiet stay compared to other hotels located on the much busier ends of the islands near the bars & restaurants, but if you want to stay where all the action is maybe not for you

Well didn't get chance to spend to night. Because I had problems with my boy friend so I went back home and I like how the the table in the room beside the wall is a door there where the room next to my room some on the door in that room can try on that door while you sleep and come in on you

I need to come back to the beach there I didn't get chance to spend to night . I need to stay my 2 night . I had to leave that night because my life was in danger with some that stay on the outside off the hotel

The price mostly half the price of any on the Island, everyone are old, they didn’t have carpeting the bathroom was clean and the furniture was in good shape. I’ll stay there from now on. I usually go to Hardeeville SC which is as close driving time to the motels on the interstate in Savanah

Nothing really except the office was rarely manned and they don’t have a breakfast of any sort, which aren’t worth getting up early after a night of libations

I love the location and pool it was giving Lana vibes with the the out dated furniture but I liked it a lot got some beautiful pics the pool is nice at night . The location is so close to the beach and the Tybee market. The room was a little rough but comfortable . Especially if you want to stay at the beach and explore!! No bugs or anything the staff was super nice.

It was a very comfortable stay. The front desk was always present and super positive. Every interaction was so pleasant. Even got to know the housekeeper Jill and she was an absolute sweetheart!! Hoping we get to stay there again in the near future!!

Only thing we didn’t have was Wi-Fi. Now that I’m typing this out I realize I never even asked about it when I would go to the front desk. So it wasn’t a huge disappointment. My husband couldn’t play his video game and actually was present so it’s really not even a negative

We were very happy staying at Sky Valley. The staff was friendly and helpful and it's a great location!

Some of the outlets didn't work and I had to go to the office every time we needed anything because there was no phone in the room.
