Very clean, newly renovated and well appointed unit. Great hot shower. Thick towels. Comfy, well made and clean bed. Very pleasant receptionist/manager. Was really impressed and happy with the unit. Free Wifi available. Staff are obviously putting in 150%!

Drains were quite stinky. Hardly got any sleep due to noisy neighbours. Crying baby left to cry all night and then all morning, doors slamming, dogs barking. Would love to stay again but not sure about the other patrons and all the dogs??

Did not breakfast there. Air conditioner was very effective.

The price. We were at Newcastle for a funeral and my wife had to drive there as I cannot due to a recent operation. She was too tired to drive home that day, so we decided to find a place to stay the night. I used booking.com to book the room when we were in the car quite some distance from the motel, and the price I paid I consider was top of range.

Pet friendly, great location good facilities. Most rooms have been refurbished recently. For a pet friendly motel, the rooms are immaculate, and there is no way to tell that pets have ever stayed in the room before. No residual odours or overpowering cleaning products. Very clean and comfortable. This was our 3rd stay and will not be our last.

The location was great. There was an excellent cafe at Mark's Point a few blocks away, and the motel was within easy walking distance to the lake. I was surprised and delighted to find my bed had been made and fresh towels provided when I came back after walking my dog. During a 2-night stay this was unexpected. The manager was very accommodating. He let me check in an hour or so early. The grounds were very well maintained.

The Lake Macquarie Motor Inn was a comfortable and convenient stop for my family. We had 2 rooms booked which were ready when we arrived and nearby to each other as requested. Reception staff was not at the office when we arrived but came immediately when we called the number on the door.

Cost was a bit higher and rooms were smaller than other places we stayed on our trip.

The staff were so polite and friendly. As soon as we walked in the room it smelt very nice. Well presented room and very clean. They had a small area for your pets to do their business and they provided the bags and a bin for the waste. Overall was very nice stay. Would recommend!

Wifi was unfortunately not the greatest connection

Conveniently located, comfy bed, very clean, great hot water and pet friendly. Small, grassed area for the pup. Parking straight outside of room and plenty of security. Located away from main road so very quiet. Will book again.

Excellent location for beach access to Swansea. Easy checkin & friendly staff. Room very clean, bathroom spotless & spacious. Would certainly staff again if back for another event. We let’s sometime behind in room at check out & Nikki was super helpful to fix it & post back to us. thank you for the great stay.

The motel was just what we were after, clean with comfortable beds, friendly staff and a lovely outlook of a couple of large trees on the property. We booked two rooms for our family and the accessible room was the excellent for our son who uses a wheelchair. Well appointed and easy to access with a fresh modern bathroom.

I love that I can have my pets with me. Everything and everyone are always professional and welcoming.

Could have a dedicated disabled parking area. We had one vehicle take up two parking spaces which made it impossible for me to park anywhere near my room.
