Beautiful hotel in central location. Good secure parking. Friendly and helpful staff. Room was very clean and comfortable. Shower was great. Provided with drinking water. A safe and fridge in room. Lovely pool area and small gym. Nice garden area with tables and chairs. Breakfast was first class. Excellent dinner at affiliated La Belle Epoque. Umbrella’s were provided as unfortunately it was raining during our stay. The staff were amazing especially as we had to leave very early on day of departure

Very central location for walking to shops and restaurants. Room generously proportioned and very nicely decorated. Bed was large and very comfortable. The massage was exceptional. Breakfast was excellent and most importantly the staff were helpful and friendly.

The swimming pool was a little small for actual swimming and as a plunge pool the water was not warm enough. The steam room and general pool area needed a bit of cleaning/maintenance.

Was on the pricey end of the Cognac spectrum but came with all the comforts including sauna (which was hot) and a pool. We did not eat at the hotel but its location in Central Cognac was near numerous food venues. The bar was lively. Staff was friendly and helpful.

The hotel's parking was full (required reservations) and so parking was a bit of a faff although was no more than a 5 minute walk away and was free!

Nice receptionists. Hotel was clean throughout. Rich and tasty breakfast with friendly waiting staff. Spacious room and very comfortable bed. Hotel is underrated at 9.1 on Booking.com per my opinion. It is an old historic building located at center of Cognac. I would rate it at 9.9 in consideration of old carpet although it is clean.

The staff was the friendliest I have ever experienced. Every person was so kind and helpful. The room was beyond my expectations - impeccably clean. Outstanding shower and bathroom. Inside parking. Excessive breakfast choices.

I did not like having only stayed one night.

The hotel was amazing. The location was perfect and walking distance to the major attractions. There were a lot of places to choose from to eat. The hotel gave great recommendations for eating. The rooms were very comfortable and the air conditioning was a bonus! The bar at the hotel was quaint and a lovely place to sit and have a drink after a long day of walking. We will definitely stay here again.

Great location but we could not stay in the hotel as the city had experienced an issue with the water supply leaving the hotel with water pressure failure. The staff were very supportive and found another room at their Sister Hotel , the heritage , a few minutes away. They walked us down and checked us in. They allowed us to keep the car in their car park free of charge. They also allowed us to use a room and the spa until matters were resolved. The Heritage was an excellent alternative with exceptional rooms, restaurant and staff.

Spa, our room , shower , location , garage , excellent breakfast chose but the hot food was cold , I think they forgot to turn on the heated containers before they put the food into them

We didn't think the bar was up to much , cocktail drinks where insipid and I know it's supposed to be trendy but I've never been served food in a tin can , even the lid hadn't been completely removed !!!!!

The car park was secure and within the hotel. Justine, I think, was so helpful on check in and made me aware of all facilities, where to eat etc. My room was really comfortable and even though it looked over the square it was very quiet. Bed was very comfortable. The swimming pool and steam room are small but really nice abd refreshing after a long drive,. Louise's bar for a nice Cognac is a must too.

Central location Secure parking Spacious rooms Helpful and friendly staff That whilst no restaurant on site they have two superb restaurants within walking minutes which offer different style but superb menus. That the staff can reserve tables as this is a popular and busy town The breakfast is superb - something for every taste and diet

No negative aspects
