Muffins were delicious. Breakfast sandwiches were also available as well as fruit, cereal and coffee. The view from our bay view was spectacular. I wouldn't advice trying to save money with a courtyard view. You are basically looking at the street with no ocean view.

It's a bit of a walk to the center of town. There is one restaurant next door but all others are close to a mile away. Once you are parked in the Surfside inn parking lot, you really don't want to try to find other parking (expensive in the lots in town) unless you are going to the beaches (that have parking)

The staff was pleasant and helpful including Wes and other staff at the front desk and the gentlemen who would check to see if I needed anything in the morning. The room was comfortable with a comfortable bed. The coffee maker was working the 1st day and when I couldn't get the Keurig to do the same, they simply replaced it. Darkening curtains, quiet room, I didn't hear neighbors. I enjoyed using the pool. I did not use the beach area as my hotel was across the street and I spent most of my time in town and at Herring Cove. We were able to walk to center of town.

Bringing suitcases up 2 flights of stairs due to injury , but that cannot be changed and presents a problem other places.

We love the pool and being on the beach! The shower is luxurious- great water pressure and hot water never runs out! The staff is aMAZing!!! Friendly, courteous, totally accommodating! Always working to keep things right! And pet friendly! Excellent bed mattress- super supportive.

Elevator is slow and could be updated. Poop bags ran out but not sure it is hotel or town responsibility.

Everything works well here from the carpark to the pool to the rooms and bathrooms. It is very well located and a very pretty spot. You can grab a light but satisfying breakfast if you need to and the bar is a nice addition. The rooms are classy rather than bling luxury. I loved the styling, very Cape Cod. We were very comfortable here and enjoyed a lovely view of the sea. It wasn’t cheap but Provincetown is a key holiday destination for wealthy Americans so to be expected. Bear in mind that you do see some interesting sights in Provincetown in the evenings! We had no problem with our children seeing gender/sexual diversity as they are a bit older and appreciated the freedom and confidence on display, (and everyone is friendly and charming and not at all rude) but some might find it a bit confusing; parents need to be be ready for the conversations some of the shop windows might lead to! That being said, the hotel is out of the main drag and quiet and peaceful as a result. The hotel staff were excellent. The carpark is a huge bonus as it costs a fortune to park in Provincetown (if you can find a free spot!)

My only issue was a couple of lumpy pillows.

Great location right on the beach with balcony and excellent shower. Staff all wonderful. Nice amenities like wine and cheese happy hour, outdoor fire pit, available rental scooters/bikes (though a but pricey) and easy text communications for registration and departure. Housekeeping very attentive and helpful.

Bathroom not really private - the door slides open-close but keeps rolling open and also not close to wall so can see through gap into bathroom.

The staff was great. Everyone was friendly and helpful. They took care of everything we asked. Nice continental breakfast set out every morning. Loved being right on the ocean. Loved sitting around the fire enjoying the calm, peaceful evenings with friends and meeting news people. The song was just so beautiful. The landscaping, flowers, tranquility were awesome.

Would have loved to have a hot tub. The shower door allowed leakage onto the floor.

The view from my room was gorgeous. The staff were cordial and empathic. The location was close enough to where I wanted to go, but I was happy to walk to see more of the town and get my steps in.

I understand why hotels use dispensers for toiletries. I would have appreciated a bar of soap or a small bottle of shampoo, though, to remember how much fun I had in Provincetown when taking a shower back in my condo.

It is wonderful they allow dogs, we rented a 2 bedroom apartment, and had three door access to the balcony. And being on the 2nd floor, the dog could run out on the balcony and watch the beach/water. And see the other dogs walking the beach with their owners. Was great view of the Bay and water, my Mom enjoyed watching the boats come and go.

They changed the bathroom doors to barn doors, and they didn't stay closed too well. And the day before we left, workmen were using our outdoor plug on the balcony, we lost out on a couple hours on the balcony with the dog, because the workmen kept walking through. Oh, and our time there went by too fast, ha ha.

Beach and pool access great. Pool spacious and comfortable. Rooms comfortable with all necessities with updated bathrooms which were beautiful

A bit far from the big restaurants and activities on commercial street. This could be a pro to some people but for us was a negative (we knew this before booking and got bike rentals to ameliorate the problem). Breakfast also was a bit basic and wish it was more substantial

Location is excellent, facility is fantastic, staff is incredible. Private beach access was amazing! Plentiful, easy parking. Room was spacious and had everything we needed. Newly painted room and brand new bathroom were pluses. Sleeping to the sound of waves on the shore = PRICELESS.

Some updates, particularly to old furniture and dingy draperies, would go a long way in making the rooms really shine and feel clean and guest-ready.
