So many reasons why you should stay at this property. Let's start with the hospitality, the staff is warm, welcoming and extremely helpful. The breakfast is simple but made from scratch, excellent quality and a wonderful offering of American, Canadian and Mexican dishes that will satisfy all guests. Coffee in rooms for early risers like us. Very clean facilities that get a daily servicing. Towels are always fresh. Pool is refreshing and kept sparkling clean by the staff. The property is at the northeastern edge of town not in the middle of all of the town action. A very short distance from Punta Mosquito. Because it's not in the middle of town it doesn't have the noise that I would imagine they have in town. There are several good restaurants nearby that the manager can recommend. He will also recommend a couple in town. Cab ride into town was ~150 pesos or a 15-20 minute walk. We stayed here 7 nights and enjoyed every one of them.

The only thing missing from Casa Hridaya is direct beach facilities, it is a 2 minute walk down to the beach but they unfortunately don't have their own chairs and umbrellas however this isn't a show stopper because there is plenty of sand to lay your towel out and enjoy the beautiful beach.

Overall wonderful experience. The staff were so lovely and helpful. They kept the grounds in pristine condition at all times, we’re so friendly any time we asked for recommendations or assistance, and were really thoughtful and sweet people! Amazing service. The pool was almost never used as the beach is steps away and so clear and warm. The few times we did enjoy the pool, it was clean and refreshing, with a shower just beside to rinse before and after. The yoga area on the third floor of the main building was a secret surprise! What a perfect place to watch the sun rise and relax.

The all staff were really nice. The hotel looks even better in person than in pictures. The hotel is a 20 minute walk to the center but we actually loved that as it was more quiet there and less flooded than other parts of the island. One day we couldn’t get breakfast as we had a tour and they made us really good sandwiches for lunch. There is also outdoor yoga classes that you can attend which was great.

Breakfast was really nice and very filling, it would have been nice to have more variety each day after a week of eating the same thing in the morning but other than that it was really good.

Our stay was absolutely perfect! The team was incredibly friendly and always helpful—whether it was providing great tips about the island or arranging a taxi to the hotel. Bicycles were always available, making it easy to explore the surroundings. Breakfast was delicious and thoughtfully prepared, with excellent service. The rooms were impeccably clean, serviced daily with fresh towels and bathroom mats. We especially loved the super comfortable bed and cozy pillows—guaranteeing a restful night’s sleep! The room was also equipped with air conditioning and a ceiling fan, which made our stay even more comfortable. The minibar was well-stocked with a great selection of drinks, and the team’s insider tips helped us discover some amazing spots on the island. The hotel’s massage was excellent, and the breathtaking view made it even more special. The peaceful location, stunning sea views, and fantastic value for money made our stay truly unforgettable. We’d love to come back!

The hotel is well kept, great rooms and very nice pool (though k didn’t use it). Breakfast is great - coffee, granola, fruits, eggs and bread. It’s not fancy, but. If you want a fancy one, with espresso coffee et , you can always go to any of the restaurants nearby. The staff is absolutely great. They were super kind. I got stuck on the island as the harbor was closed due to weather conditions, they helped me find out when it is open, ordered taxi etc. but more than that it was just a pleasure to speak with the manager and staff.

If they had espresso coffee that would be great. The hotel doesn’t have a beach club - but there are a few nearby where you can use it for feee if you buy drinks or food.

Everything. The owners have created a magical and relaxing place. Our room was big and comfortable. The staff were amazing. The breakfast was plentiful and healthy. Because it’s about a 15/20 walk from the centre it’s really quiet. We’ve been to Holbox before and this place was much better. There are plenty of places you can walk to and hire beach beds - we liked Nana’s - closer to the centre. And best place for shrimp tacos is Viva Zappata

Not what I didn’t like but a tiny suggestion - I would have liked better quality bread for toast and a selection of things you could put on it. But as I said overall the breakfast was great

The sweetest hotel we stayed at in Mexico. Actually, we extended our stay to 7 nights! short distance from the beach, surrounded by nature. The owners are a wonderful Argentinian couple, Lali gave us a yoga and meditation class every morning in the stunning space on the roof, and also on a sap in the water, and Gustavo's paintings decorate the place. The breakfast is very simple but satisfying. We rented bikes and toured the island (or by foot). The reception and cleaning staff are very nice and we felt at home! Perfect for those looking for quite, seclusion, rest, and relaxation.

I could use a mirror in the room

Are you looking for tranquility, a friendly staff, delicious breakfast and only 100 meters to the Mexican Gulf - this is the spot. We enjoyed the small pool after a hot day on the beach, but mostly we appreciated the calm atmosphere at this little gem. Since Hridaya is a little away from the town you can take some fantastic morning walks at the sandbanks and see the sunrise almost on your own.

Sometimes during our stay we missed bar facilities. You also have to find sunbeds on your own, we chose Punta Caliza about 500 meters away. Here the sunbeds are for free if you buy for only 300 pesos per person. And the beds are really soft, all too soft for me, however that is a personal preference

Hotel with a good location in a quieter area and a few metres walk from the best part of the beach. A simple but good breakfast with everything you need For meals there is the Hamacas restaurant a few metres away, which has an excellent location on the beachfront, good food, ambient music and is well frequented. The owners of the hotel and the staff are friendly and indispensable! I recommend it and would certainly return

I liked everything about the accommodation

Casa Hridaya was exactly what we needed at the end of our 3 week holiday in Mexico, a peaceful place to relax! The location is on a quiet part of the island where you can see and hear the wildlife (birds). For us, it was close enough to the center which was a 30 minute walk along the beach. The hotel offers free yoga in the morning and they can organise a private massage for you. I did both and felt amazing afterwards. The beaches closest to the hotel have no seaweed and you have immediate access to the sea and walk on the sandbank to mosquito point. Beautiful! Breakfast in the morning was freshly prepared. Not many options but it was sufficient and delicious. The rooms had gorgeous decoration, good smelling soaps and a very large comfortable bed. All the staff was helpful and smiley as well!

We liked everything! If they would have their own beach club in front that could have made it even better but enough other seats and places to choose from in only 2 minute walk.
